Housing policies in China cities have experienced many changes since 1980s. Housing policies in China cities have experienced many changes since 1980s. The original systems of the little step rent increases, selling houses with subsidies have developed into the policies of building different ranks of houses to various income people. Now the Chinese government has built a complex systems of selling and buying houses, which include the policies of commodity housing, small interests housing, cost housing, and standard housing. To deal with the problems of commodity housing, work unit housing, bureau housing, and resettlement housing, Chinese government have built a wide range of policies on housing reform that cover the following key areas: housing Provident Fund system, the sale of public housing with subsidies, rent increases with subsidies, Economic and Comfortable Housing, housing monetarisation, and social rental housing. The purpose of policies is to reiterate the justice and efficiency. But having examined the housing reformed policies, one can find out that each of the policy got a function of social fragmentation, the result of which benefits the urban elites. Housing reform is enforcing the inequality from market economy. The problems of justice in the housing reform should be focused on. 展开更多
