K ε model and SIMPLE ...In this paper, cold simulation experiments and numerical calculations are conducted to predict 3 D flow field aerodynamics for an oil furnace after being retrofitted due to its fuel variation. K ε model and SIMPLE program under body fit coordination (BFC) system, in which TTM non orthogonal method is used to control the irregular geometric boundary, are adopted to solve the control equations. Model tests are conducted to check the calculation results, showing that they are in agreement with each other. Three different alternatives with different side window locations are also calculated to optimize the designs. The field retrofitting results show that the combination of cold tests with numerical calculations has prosperous application in retrofitting or renewing medium and small boilers.展开更多

It is a comprehensive index for the scheme of bridge raft, containing a variety of technical factors and uncertainties. The optimization is the selection in the constructing time, quantity of equipments and man power. Based on the calculation result of bridge rafts, an evaluating system is established, consisting of index of spacing between interior bays, raft length, truss numbers, operation difficulty and maximal bending stress. A fuzzy matter element model of optimizing selection of bridge rafts was built up by combining quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis. The method of combination weighting was used to calculate the value of weights index to reduce the subjective randomness. The sequence of schemes and the optimization resuh were gained finally based on euclid approach degree. The application result shows that it is simple and practical.展开更多

The authors define associated horocycle and translation flows; the latter preserve each torus and are the horizontal and vertical flows of the corresponding quadratic differential. The scenery flow projects to the geodesic flow on the modular surface, and admits, for each orientation preserving hyperbolic toral automorphism, an invariant 3-dimensional subset on which it is the suspension flow of that map. The authors first give a simple algebraic definition in terms of the group of affine maps of the plane, and prove that the flow is Anosov. They give an explicit formula for the first-return map of the flow on convenient cross-sections. Objective:To observe the effect of tuina exercise on simple obesity in college students.Methods:Fifty-seven college students with simple obesity were divided into two groups according to the stratified randomization m...Objective:To observe the effect of tuina exercise on simple obesity in college students.Methods:Fifty-seven college students with simple obesity were divided into two groups according to the stratified randomization method.Twenty-eight in the tuina exercise group were trained in tuina exercise;while 29 in the auricular acupoint sticking group were treated with acuricular acupoint sticking.The tuina exercise group was trained once every other day,and 10 times made one course.The auricular acupoint sticking was replaced once every 4 d,and 5 times made one course.After 2-course treatment,the total therapeutic effect,weight,body mass index (BMI),waist and hip circumferences,serum total cholesterol (TC),triglyceride (TG),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) were assessed.Results:The total therapeutic effect was 86.2% in the auricular acupoint sticking group and 85.7% in the tuina exercise group.There was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).After treatment,the weight,BMI,waist and hip circumferences were decreased and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05).The waist and hip circumferences in the tuina exercise group were lower than those in the auricular acupoint sticking group,showing statistically significant differences (all P<0.05).After treatment,there were no significant intra-group differences in TC,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C in the two groups (all P>0.05),and the between-group differences were not significant (all P>0.05).Conclusion:Tuina exercise has reliable effect in treating obesity.It can produce more significant improvements in waist and hip circumferences than auricular acupoint sticking.But no obvious effect is shown in blood lipid indicators.展开更多

Methods: A total of 35 football players were randomly allocated into a blank group, a control group and an observation group. The athletes in the blank group received no treatment, those in the control group take Xi Yang Shen (Radix Panacis Quinquefolii) orally and those in the observation group were treated by point sticking therapy. The athletes' RPE, hemoglobin (Hb), red blood cell count (RBC), blood urea nitrogen (BUN) and blood glucose (BG) were recorded every day for analysis. Results: The RPE value in the blank group tends to increase, while that in the treatment and the blank groups tend to increase first but decrease afterwards, and the corresponding RPE value in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group. After treatment, athletes in the blank group showed a decrease in Hb, RBC and BG, but an increase in BUN in the blank group; while athletes in the observation and the control groups showed increases in Hb, RBC and BG, but a decrease in BUN. Conclusion: Point sticking can alleviate clinical symptoms induced by exercise-induced fatigue.展开更多

Objective To observe the effects of acupoint sticking therapy of different dosages and durations on the subjective and objective sleep indicators in insomnia patients.Methods Ninety-six patients with insomnia due to l...Objective To observe the effects of acupoint sticking therapy of different dosages and durations on the subjective and objective sleep indicators in insomnia patients.Methods Ninety-six patients with insomnia due to liver-Qi stagnation and spleen deficiency were divided into a high-dosage 7 d group(25 cases),a high-dosage 14 d group(22 cases),a low-dosage 7 d group(21 cases),and a low-dosage 14 d group(28 cases)using the random numbers generated in a stratified and stage-by-stage manner in combination with the visiting sequence.The four groups all received the same acupuncture treatment,but acupoint sticking therapy varied in dosage and duration.Before and after treatment,the actigraphic readings(total time in bed,total sleep time,sleep efficiency,number of wake bouts,length of wakes after asleep,and sleep latency),Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)score,and symptoms score of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)were observed.A correlation analysis was conducted among the subjective and objective indicators.Results The PSQI score was positively correlated with the total time in bed and total sleep time(P<0.05).After treatment,the sleep latency,PSQI scores,and TCM symptoms scores changed significantly in the four groups(P<0.05).The total sleep time and sleep efficiency gained improvements after treatment in the high-dosage 14 d and low-dosage 14 d groups(P<0.05).The high-dosage acupoint sticking groups had longer total sleep time compared with the low-dosage groups of the same treatment duration(P<0.05).After treatment,the length of wakes after asleep,PSQI scores,and TCM symptoms scores were better in the 14 d groups than in the 7 d groups of the same acupoint sticking dosage(P<0.05).Conclusion Given the same acupuncture treatment,acupoint sticking therapy of different treatment durations produces different effects on the length of wakes after asleep,PSQI score,and TCM symptoms score in insomnia patients,and the 14-day acupoint sticking treatment is superior to the 7-day treatment.展开更多
