This paper aims to investigate the effects of labor allocation distortions and various levels of distortion-free labor allocation on social output in China's primary,secondary and tertiary industries.Theoretical m...This paper aims to investigate the effects of labor allocation distortions and various levels of distortion-free labor allocation on social output in China's primary,secondary and tertiary industries.Theoretical model creation and empirical study have led us to the following findings:the quantity of workforce in China's primary industry exceeds the quantity of workforce under the scenario of distortion-free labor allocation and the same is generally true for China's tertiary industry.However,the quantity of labor allocation in secondary industry is significantly below the level of distortion-free allocation but the share of allocation distortion overall tends to decline.Labor allocation distortions for various sectors are mainly caused by intra-sectoral allocation distortions and sectoral wage differences,of which the effect of internal distortion factor is the most obvious.In terms of total output,the eliminations of total distortion,wage difference distortion and internal allocation distortion will all cause total social output to exceed original output,and labor reallocation accompanying capital change will not only bring about a further increase of output but may offset the defects of limited potentials of labor resources reallocation.Growth rates with the eliminations of wage difference distortion,internal allocation distortion and superimposed factor can basically explain for the growth rates with the elimination of all distortions.Given this background,it is necessary to take effective measures at an early date to reduce China s labor allocation distortions and improve overall economic efficiency.展开更多
Sea level anomalies observed by altimeter during the 1993-2006 period, thermosteric sea level anomalies estimated by using subsurface temperature data produced by Ishii and SODA reanalysis data, tide gauge records and...Sea level anomalies observed by altimeter during the 1993-2006 period, thermosteric sea level anomalies estimated by using subsurface temperature data produced by Ishii and SODA reanalysis data, tide gauge records and HOAPS freshwater flux data were analyzed to investigate the long term sea level change and the water mass balance in the South China Sea, The altime- ter-observed sea level showed a rising rate of (3.5±0.9)mmyr-1 during the period 1993-2006, but this figure was considered to have been highly distorted by the relatively short time interval and the large inter-decadal variability, which apparently exists in both the thermosteric sea level and the observed sea level. Long term thermosteric sea level from 1945 to 2004 gave a rising rate of 0.15±0.06 mmyr-1. Tide gauge'data revealed this discrepancy and the regional distributions of the sea-level trends. Both the 'real' and the ther- mosteric sea level showed a good correspondence to ENSO: decreasing during El Nino years and increasing during La Nina years. Amplitude and phase differences between the 'real' sea level and the thermosteic sea level were substantially revealed on both sea- sonal and interannual time scales. As one of the possible factors, the freshwater flux might play an important role in balancing the water mass.展开更多

Arnold) were studied to deter...In this study six Pinus L. taxa from Canada (P. strobus L., P. parviflora Siebold & Zucc., P. mugo Turra subsp, mugo, P. resinosa Sol. ex Alton, P. flexilis E. James and P. nigra J. F. Arnold) were studied to determine on chemical characters of studied taxa. For this purpose, essential oil from needles of the six Pinus taxa were investigated by HS-SPME/GC-MS. 38, 33, 39, 28, 31 and 46 compounds were respectively identified from each species representing 95.90%, 95.07%, 95.79%, 96.20%, 93.05% and 96.25% of the oil. The results have given some clues on the chemotaxonomy of this genus and are of usable potentials of the plants as renewable resources. Although the essential oil composition of studied taxa showed chemical divergences because of climatical, seasonal, geographical and geological factors, but the major compounds of plant derivatives are generally similar and the major compounds are chemotaxonomical markers for studied taxa.展开更多
In this paper,5 investigations on the current states of power distribution grids in China have been introduced that cover the surveys of the practical distribution asset utilization,the simultaneity factor of feeder l...In this paper,5 investigations on the current states of power distribution grids in China have been introduced that cover the surveys of the practical distribution asset utilization,the simultaneity factor of feeder loading,the load compositions and characteristics,the urban reliability and the integration of distributed generations of renewable resources.Based on the survey results in the investigations,12 Facts are clearly presented.It shows that the challenges to modernize the distribution grids in China are to improve the asset utilization rates,the electricity efficiencies and the reliability of distribution systems,as well as to integrate increasing amount of variable distributed renewable resources.Furthermore based on the challenges,8 R&D opportunities have been identified.展开更多
