To reduce the cost, size and complexity, a consumer digital camera usually uses a single sensor overlaid with a color filter array(CFA) to sample one of the red-green-blue primary color values, and uses demosaicking a...To reduce the cost, size and complexity, a consumer digital camera usually uses a single sensor overlaid with a color filter array(CFA) to sample one of the red-green-blue primary color values, and uses demosaicking algorithm to estimate the missing color values at each pixel. A novel image correlation and support vector machine(SVM) based edge-adaptive algorithm was proposed, which can reduce edge artifacts and false color artifacts, effectively. Firstly, image pixels were separated into edge region and smooth region with an edge detection algorithm. Then, a hybrid approach switching between a simple demosaicking algorithm on the smooth region and SVM based demosaicking algorithm on the edge region was performed. Image spatial and spectral correlations were employed to create middle planes for the interpolation. Experimental result shows that the proposed approach produced visually pleasing full-color result images and obtained higher CPSNR and smaller S-CIELAB*ab?E than other conventional demosaicking algorithms.展开更多

Methods: 28 patients aged over 65 with advanc...Objective: To investigate the clinical efficacy and toxicity of weekly dose docetaxel monotherapy schedule in elderly with advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: 28 patients aged over 65 with advanced NSCLC were received with docetaxel (Aisu) 35 mg/m^2 on days 1, 8 and 15 every 28 days. A clinical evaluation on effectiveness, quality of life and toxicities was performed. Results: 28 patients were given 86 cycles' chemotherapy altogether. The overall response rate was 35.7% (10/28). The clinical beneficial rate was 64.3% (18/28). Mean KPS was increased from 75.5 at baseline to 87.7 after chemotherapy (P 〈 0.01); lung cancer symptom scale (LCSS) scores of cough, hemoptysis, chest pain and dyspnea were increased from 64, 65, 62 and 65 to 90, 92, 87 and 88, respectively (P 〈 0.01). The median time to progression (TTP) was 5.3 months; median survival time (MST) was 8.5 months. The main toxicities were fatigue, leukopenia and decrease of hemoglobin with well tolerance. Conclusion: Weekly dose docetaxel monotherapy schedule is a feasible, well-tolerated, and active scheme in the treatment of the elderly patients with advanced NSCLC.展开更多

Therefore, the measures to recover their motor and nervous systems from the fatigue are very important. In this research, this author tries to investigate the methods to recover one' s joints and relax one' s nervous system, and detailed methods would also be provided for reference. Objective conditions, like sports fields and equipment, have become relatively satisfactory. There are high-level coaches and athletes who are carefully and scientifically chosen, so that good athletic performance is well guaranteed. To improve sports teams' comprehensive sports skills, we have to adopt and grasp some advanced training methods and skills. But after intensive training and fierce competition, athletes' motor and nervous system would suffer from fatigue, therefore, it becomes necessary for them to grasp the methods of recovery. In this research, this author tries to investigate the mechanism and methods to recover athletes' joints from the fatigue and relax their nervous system.展开更多

The proposed algorithm determined edge patterns by four neare...An efficient adaptive approximation demosaicking algorithm based on the sampled edge pattern was presented for mosaic images from Bayer color filter array. The proposed algorithm determined edge patterns by four nearest green values surrounding the green interpolation location. Then according to the edge patterns, different adaptive interpolation steps were applied. Simulations on 12 Kodak photos and 15 IMAX high-quality images showed that the proposed method outperformed the other four demosaicking methods (bilinear, effective color interpolation, Lu's method and Chen's method) for average color peak signal to noise ratios and maintained a relatively low complexity owing to constant color-difference interpolation step and a reasonable terminating condition of iteration.展开更多
