为探究矩形喷管出口宽高比对喷流流场和声场的影响规律,采用DES/FW–H混合算法对出口宽高比为3和1.5的矩形喷管超声速完全膨胀喷流开展研究,分析出口宽高比对喷流流动与噪声的影响。针对多个流场变量进行对比分析,以验证数值模拟方法的... 为探究矩形喷管出口宽高比对喷流流场和声场的影响规律,采用DES/FW–H混合算法对出口宽高比为3和1.5的矩形喷管超声速完全膨胀喷流开展研究,分析出口宽高比对喷流流动与噪声的影响。针对多个流场变量进行对比分析,以验证数值模拟方法的可行性,发现喷管出口宽高比不同,靠近出口内壁面上的压力变化也有所不同:喷管出口宽高比越大,压力变化越快。结合已有噪声实验数据和计算数据,验证了噪声模拟的准确性。对不同出口宽高比下剪切层厚度的变化进行了分析,研究了这种变化对喷流噪声的影响,发现随着宽高比增大,剪切层厚度增大,且剪切层快速扩张位置和高频噪声源位置向上游方向移动。对比了不同宽高比下出口唇线上特定频率噪声的相速度,研究发现:喷管宽高比不同,同样频率的近场噪声有着不同的相速度,这决定了近场噪声向下游传播的最大角度;相速度对应的马赫角越大,近场噪声向下游传播的最大角度越大;宽高比增大,长轴唇线上的相速度显著降低,近场噪声向下游的辐射角度减小。 展开更多

AIM:To investigate the long-term outcomes of endoscopic ultrasound-guided choledochoduodenostomy(EUS-CDS) with a fully covered self-expandable metallic stent(FCSEMS).METHODS:From April 2009 to August 2010,15 patients with distal malignant biliary obstructions who were candidates for alternative techniques for biliary decompression due to a failed endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP) were included.These 15 patients consisted of 8 men and 7 women and had a median age of 61 years(range:30-91 years).The underlying causes of the distal malignant biliary obstruction were pancreatic cancer(n = 9),ampulla of Vater cancer(n = 2),renal cell carcinoma(n = 1),advanced gastric cancer(n = 1),lymphoma(n = 1),and duodenal cancer(n = 1).RESULTS:The technical success rate of EUS-CDS with an FCSEMS was 86.7%(13/15),and functional success was achieved in 100%(13/13) of those cases.In two patients,the EUS-CDS failed because an FCSEMS with a delivery device could not be passed into the common bile duct.The mean duration of stent patency was 264 d.Early adverse events developed in three patients(3/13,23.1%),including self-limited pneumoperitoneum in two patients and cholangitis requiring stent reposition in one patient.During the follow-up period(median:186 d,range:52-388 d),distal stent migration occurred in four patients(4/13,30.8%).In 3 patients,the FCSEMS could be reinserted through the existing choledochoduodenal fistula tract.CONCLUSION:EUS-CDS with an FCSEMS is technically feasible and can lead to effective palliation of distal malignant biliary obstructions after failed ERCP. 展开更多

It is shown that the capacitance of the junctions can slow the movement of the electron pairs and reduce the net voltage. It is also shown that, for the underdamped case and the overdamped case, the movement of the electron pairs in this superconducting junctions device has some similar features. By controlling the correlation between the additive and multiplicative noise, the flux can be reversed. Bubble column reactors are multiphase contacting devices used in a wide variety of industrial application. Inrtevep S. A. is working on developing technologies to convert heavy and extra-heavy crude oil using this type of reactors. Volumetric gas hold up, flow pattern, average gas bubble size, average interfacial area, RTD (residence time distribution), dispersion coefficient, Peclet number are important design parameters for a proper scale up of them. Several cold model experiments have been proposed to determine the previously mentioned parameters at atmospheric conditions, using a plexiglas bubble column reactor at pilot plant scale unit (12 cm diameter). It was also evaluated our own design of internal trays (plates) in the reactor. Air-tap water and air-light oil systems have been used. A wide operating condition range was applied, superficial gas velocity between 0.5-10 cm/s, liquid flowrate between 15-65 I/h. Generally speaking, working without internal trays was found that gas hold up increase along the reactor and it was possible to identify heterogeneous bubble, transition and turbulent flow pattern areas for the air-light oil system. Average gas bubble size increase along the reactor at bubble regime from 2-5 mm but at turbulent regime, stay oscillating between 1-3 mm. Average interfacial area increases exponentially with superficial gas velocity at any reactor height, till 1,412 m2/m3 for the air-light oil system but, at bubble flow regime, the average interfacial area is lower than 100 m2/m3, which negatively impact the reactor performance. Internal trays in the reactor always increase gas hold up at any condition or system used. Residence time distributions curves, Peclet numbers and dispersion coefficients founded, show that this reactor with this kind of design internal trays still tends to be a complete mixing reactor under the operating conditions used. 展开更多

The Effect of Spherical Surface on Noise Suppression of a Supersonic Jet

Experiments were carried out to eliminate the screech tone generated from a supersonic jet. Compressed air was passed through a circular convergent nozzle preceded by a straight tube of same diameter. In order to reduce the jet screech a spherical reflector was used and placed at the nozzle exit. The placement of the spherical reflector at the nozzle exit controlled the location of the image source as well as minimized the sound pressure at the nozzle exit. The weak sound pressure did not excite the unstable disturbance at the exit. Thus the loop of the feedback mechanism could not be accomplished and the jet screech was eliminated. The technique of screech reduction with a flat plate was also examined and compared with the present method. A good and effective performance in canceling the screech component by the new method was found by the investigation. Experimental results indicate that the new system suppresses not only the screech tones but also the broadband noise components and reduces the overall noise of the jet flow. The spherical reflector was found very effective in reducing overall sound pressure level in the upstream region of the nozzle compared to a flat plate. The proposed spherical reflector can, accordingly, protect the upstream noise propagation. 展开更多
