The driving principle of the rodshape... A new rod-shaped traveling wave ultrasonic micromotor is developed. In the micromotor, five pieces of piezoelectric ceramics clamped by two metal cylinders are used as its stator. The driving principle of the rodshaped ultrasonic motor is simulated. The stator structure and the position to lay these piezoelectric ceramics are calculated to improve the electro mechanical conversion efficiency. A flexible rotor is designed to reduce the radial slip between the stator and the rotor, and to improve the motor efficiency. The prototype motor and its micror driver are tested. The motor is 9 mm in out-diameter, 15 mm in length and 3.2 g in weight. When the motor operates with the first bending frequency (72 kHz) of the stator, its maximal rotational speed and the torque reach 520 r/rain and 4.5 mN · m. Results show that the motor has good stability. The speed fluctuation is controlled within 3% by the frequency automatic tracking technique. 展开更多

A new method for the control of the speed of an ultrasonic motor and its implementation are proposed. The method is merely used by detecting the time when motor′s monitor signal reaches a non zero reference value than a zero one, the direction, in which the driving frequency of the motor should be shifted, can be promptly calculated. With the aid of a CPU and the phase locked frequency doubling technique, the motor can be steadily driven in a wide range of frequency and the optimum frequency can be captured rapidly and precisely. The effects of ultrasonic treatment on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-5Zn-2Er alloy at room temperature (RT) and high temperature (HT) were investigated. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the samples were studied by OM, SEM and MTS material tester. The results show that the microstructure and mechanical properties are improved after the ultrasonic vibration. The best effects of ultrasonic vibration on microstructure and mechanical properties were obtained with the ultrasonic vibration power of 600 W and time of 100 s. The cavitation and acoustic streaming caused by ultrasonic treatment play a major role in refining the microstructure and increasing mechanical properties of the alloy. 展开更多

The 1050 aluminum alloy strip was prepared by means of electromagnetic and ultrasonic cast rolling on the modified asymmetric twin roll caster, and then the aluminum substrate for presensitized plate was prepared through cold rolling and annealing.The effects of electromagnetic and ultrasonic cast rolling on microstructure, mechanical properties, surface roughness and electrolytic corrosion properties of 1050 aluminum substrate were studied. The results show that electromagnetic and ultrasonic cast rolling can decrease the average crystallite size of aluminum substrate by 5 μm, increase the crystal boundaries with uniform distribution, and make the second-phase particles with smaller size distributed dispersively in the substrate, meanwhile, it can increase the tensile strength, elongation and micro-hardness by 4.58%, 9.85% and HV 2, respectively, reduce the surface roughness, make the surface appearance more even, electrolytic corrosion polarization curve of aluminum substrate more smooth and the surface corrosion pits with regular shape more dispersive. 展开更多

Objective: To establish a rabbit atrial fibrillation model with rapid atrial pacing (RAP) and investigate its ultrastructural changes and expressions of L-type calcium channel subunits and potassium channel Kv4. 3. Methods: Thirty-six rabbits were performed electrical stimulation through bipolar endo-cardial led by surgical technique. 600 beat per min from 0 to 48 h. Atrial ultrastructure was observed by transmission electron microscope (TEM) after different pacing times. mRNA were measured by reverse transcription-polymera.se chain reaction (RT-PCR). Results: Atrial ultrastructure had alteration after 3 hours' pacing, such as mitochondria vacuolization, myofilament lysis and glucogen aggregation. The mRNA of the Ca2+ channel β1 and α1 subunits began to decrease after pacing of 6 h. which were paralleled with the change of Kv4. 3 mRNA. But the auxiliary subunit α2 were not affected. Conclusion: Ultrastructural changes and mRNA levels of L-type calcium channel subunits and potassium channel Kv4. 3 are decreased after RAP. with a mechanism of transcriptional down-regulation of underlying ion channels due to calcium overloading after RAP. 展开更多

Study on high speed tension property of B-grade bulletproof steel

In this paper, the high speed tension experiments have been performed on ultra high strength bulletproof steel. The specimen were cut from B-grade bulletproof steel sheet after hard-module quenching with thickness of 2.3 mm. The mechanical properties at strain rates of 0.001 s^-1, 0.01 s^-1, 0.1 s^-1 and 1 s^-1 were carried out on MTSS10, while those at higher strain rates of 200 s^-1, 500 s^-1 and i 000 s^-1 were tested on HTM5020 high speed tension tester and Hopkinson bar. The data from the high speed tension experiments were fitted via Johnson-Cook constitutive equation, and the fracture surface of each specimen was analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results indicate that, the shoot resistance capability of bulletproof steel is closely related to its strength, thickness and flow behaviors under high strain rate. The shoot resistance will be improved in the case of higher strength and better matching between strength and elongation. The Johnson-Cook constitutive equation fitted via experimental data provides fundament to numerical simulation. With the increase of strain rate, the size and depth of dimple trend to decrease and the depth of dimple changes less in steel with lower strength and higher elongation. The SEM analysis of fracture aspect is of benefit for further understanding of deformation and fracture mode under high strain rate. 展开更多

These impellers have different shapes of hub on the meridional plane with each other. Moreover, these types of impeller were made for the 5 times and the 6 times size of the final target centrifugal impeller with the outer diameter of 4ram in order to assess the similitude for the impellers. A single stage ultra micro centrifugal compressor constituting ultra micro gas turbine is required to operate at high rotational speed in order to achieve the pressure ratio which establishes the gas turbine cycle. As a conse- quence, the aerodynamic losses can be increased by the interaction of a shock wave with the boundary layer on the blade surface. Moreover, the centrifugal force which exceeds the allowable s^ress of the impeller material can act on the root of blades. On the other hand, the restrictions of processing technology for the downsizing of im- peller not only relatively enlarge the size of tip clearance but also make it difficult to shape the impeller with the i three-dimensional blade. Therefore, it is important to establish the design technology for the impeller with the two-dimensional blade which possesses the sufficient aerodynamic performance and enough strength to bear the centrifugal force caused by the high rotational speed. In this study, the flow in two types of impeller with the two-dimensional blade which have different meridional configuration was analyzed numerically, The computed results clarified the influence of the meridional configuration on the loss generations in the impeller passage. 展开更多
