Because of the motion un- certainty at singular points, while the manipulator traverses this kind of hypersurface from one singularity-free region to another, its motion cannot be predetermined. In this paper, a detailed approach for the manipulator to traverse the singularity hypersurface with its non-persistent configuration is presented. First, the singular point transfer disturbance and the pose disturbance, which make the perturbed singular point transfer horizontally and vertically, respectively, are constructed. Through applying these disturbances into the input parameters within the maximum loss control domain, the perturbed persistent configuration is transformed into its corresponding non-persistent one. Under the action of the disturbances, the manipulator can traverse the singularity hypersurface from one singularity-flee region to another with a desired configuration.展开更多

A 78-year-old man was admitted to our hospital with acute abdomen. He had undergone an operation for colon cancer 4 mo previously.Abdominal ultrasonography revealed an echogenic lesion with a hypoechoic rim and strong posterior acoustic shadowing in the lower abdomen. Diagnosis of gossypiboma can be made by ultrasonography to avoid loss-of-chance of survival. We reviewed the English literature briefly of gossypiboma from the medical and juridical view. According to the theory of loss-of-chance, the damage of plaintiff is the loss of the chance of survival or recovery, rather than the final harm. The victim would allow recovery for the loss of the chance from the defendant. But the plaintiff would show by a preponderance that he was deprived of a betterchance of a cure. Under the proposed rule, the compensable value of the victim would be the plaintiff's compensation for the loss of the victim's chance of survival.展开更多

Since these rare production are fa...We consider the contributions of the extra gauge boson Z' to the like sign ^- production processes e-'γ→e+(μ+)τ-τ-, induced by the tree-level flavor changing interactions. Since these rare production are far below the observable level in the Standard Model and other popular new physics models such as the minimal supersymmetric model, we find that, in the topcolor-assisted technicolor models, the Z' can give significant contributions to these processes, and with reasonable values of the parameters, the cross section cr can reach several tens of tb and may be detected at the eγ collisions.展开更多

There existed a...The impact of ultrasonic power density on changes of heavy metals during sludge sonication was inves-tigated. Results showed that ultrasound could release heavy metals from sludge into the supernatant. There existed an effective power density range of 0.8-1.6 W·ml?1 for the release of the total heavy metal; there was little release below 0.8 W·ml?1 and too high power density was adverse to the release. Furthermore, sonication showed selective release of heavy metal from sludge to the supernatant; copper, cadmium and lead were not released by sonication, while arsenic and nickel were released easily and their release ratio could reach 40%. The effective energy range for each heavy metal was also different that 0.8-1.2 W·ml?1 for arsenic, 0.5-1.6 W·ml?1 for nickel, and 0.8-1.6 W·ml?1 for mercury and chrome. The differences among heavy metal release during sonication might be explained by the different distribution of chemical fractions of each metal in sludge. Such selectivity could be used to control heavy metal release during sludge treatment.展开更多
A quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) is used to determine the phase equilibrium of paclitaxel-carbon dioxide system in the pressure range of 0-11 MPa and at temperatures of 35 °C,40 °C and 45 °C.The ex...A quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) is used to determine the phase equilibrium of paclitaxel-carbon dioxide system in the pressure range of 0-11 MPa and at temperatures of 35 °C,40 °C and 45 °C.The experimental results indicated that gaseous CO2 could be absorbed poorly into paclitaxel.The swelling of paclitaxel film in CO2 was observed before paclitaxel dissolved into supercritical carbon dioxide (ScCO2) with the increase of pressure.It was found that ScCO2 was not a good solvent for paclitaxel.The mole fraction of paclitaxel in ScCO2 was in the range of (4.5×10-9)-(7.8×10-9) under all our experimental conditions.Therefore,a much higher pressure than the CO2 supercritical point and/or a cosolvent must be used in any processes wherever paclitaxel dissolution in ScCO2 is required.展开更多

In this paper, a multi-channel phasemeter which can parallelly process the signals is constructed. The test shows that a sensitivity of 2n grad/√Hz could be achieved in the frequency range of 0.1 to 10 Hz. The tradeoff between sensitivity and detection range(maximum and minimum stretchability)is a key limitation in strain sensors;to resolve this,we develop an efficient and novel strategy herein to fabricate a highly sen...The tradeoff between sensitivity and detection range(maximum and minimum stretchability)is a key limitation in strain sensors;to resolve this,we develop an efficient and novel strategy herein to fabricate a highly sensitive and stretchable strain sensor inspired by the membrane-shell structure of poultry eggs.The developed sensor comprises a soft and stretchable surface-grafting polypyrrole(s-PPy)film(acting as the membrane)and a brittle Au film(acting as the shell),wherein both films complement each other at the electrical and mechanical levels.Au forms cracks under strain contributing to its high sensitivity and low detection limit,and s-PPy can bridge Au cracks and increase stretchability which has not been used in strain sensors before.The surface-grafting strategy not only enhances interface adhesion but also tunes the brittle property of native PPy to render it stretchable.Utilizing the synergetic effect of the membrane-shell complementary structure,the strain sensors achieve ultrahigh sensitivity(>10^(7)),large stretchability(100%),and an ultralow detection limit(0.1%),demonstrating significant progress in the field of strain sensors.The membrane-shell(Au/s-PPy)-structured strain sensor can successfully detect finger motion,wrist rotation,airflow fluctuation,and voice vibration;these movements produce strain in the range of subtle to marked deformations.Results evidence the ultrahigh performance and bright application prospects of the developed strain sensors.展开更多

Our result revealed the interesting behaviors in Mn spins structure in superlattice. Apart from simple plane spin cycloid structure which is shown in all manganites including bulk, film, and superlattice here in low temperature, a non-coplanar spiral spin structure is exhibited in a certain temperature range when n equals 1, 2 or 3. Specific heat, spin-helicity vector,spin correlation function, spin-helicity correlation function, and spin configuration are calculated to confirm this noncoplanar spiral spin structure. These results are associated with the competition among exchange interaction, magnetic anisotropy, and Dzyaloshinskii–Moriya interaction.展开更多
