And it is widely used in fundamental and application fields of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The dynamics of bulk GaAs was investigated by femtosecond laser. By changing the area of pump spot, different laser fluences were obtained to excite electron from valence states to conduction states. And it was found that the amplitude of reflectivity change is different. When the carrier density N is 1.44×10^18/cm^3, the change of refraction index is about Dnc=-3.33×10^-5. And when N is0. 36×10^10/cm^3, the change is -2.0×10^-5.展开更多

Five of these beams were monotonically tested until shear failure to investigate the static shear performance including the failure pattern, loaddeflection behavior, shear capacity, shear crack width and shear ductility. The experimental results show that these beams have superior shear capacity, crack control ability and shear ductility. To study the shear performance under repeated overloading, seven PSURC beams were loaded in cyclic test simultaneously. The overall shear performance of cycled beams is similar to that of uncycled beams at low load level but different at high load level. The shear capacity and crack control ability of cycled beams at high load level are reduced, whereas the shear ductility is improved. In addition, the influences of variables including the degree of prestress, stirrup ratio and load level on the shear performance of both uncycled and cycled beams were also discussed and compared, respectively.展开更多

By taking high resolution angleresolved photoemission measurements on the Fermi surface and band structure of an overdoped Bi2212 (To = 76 K) at different stages of K deposition, we found that the area of the hole-like Fermi surface around the Brillouin zone corner (n,n) shrinks with increasing K deposition. This indicates a continuous hole concentration change from initial - 0.26 to eventual 0.09 after extensive K deposition, a net doping level change of 0.17 that makes it possible to bring Bi2212 from being originally overdoped, to optimally-doped, and even- tually becoming heavily underdoped. The electronic behaviors with K deposition are consistent with those of Bi2212 samples with different hole doping levels. These results demonstrate that K deposition is an effective way of in situ controlling the hole concentration in Bi2212. This work opens a good way of studying the doping evolution of electronic structure and establishing the electronic phase diagram in Bi2212 that can be extended to other cuprate superconductors.展开更多
