However, due to global nature and the long term sustainability of this shipbuilding industry, an investigation of competitiveness in terms of global standard is of prime importance. This paper focuses on studying some crucial competitive factors like labor skill, labor availability, labor man-hour, labor cost ＆ productivity for local shipbuilding in Bangladesh. The analysis also focuses on existing access to the resources like materials, knowledge and capital which are equally important factors for the expansion of shipbuilding. Comparison of these parameters with other nations have been made qualitatively and quantitatively to find the level of our shipbuilding. On the basis of existing condition and future vision, some recommendations have been made which might be useful for accelerating the development of this sector.展开更多
The combined effects of vertical overturning circulation(VOC) zonal length scale and moist static energy(MSE)tendency zonal asymmetry on MJO phase speed were investigated based on diagnosis of ERA-Interim data over a ...The combined effects of vertical overturning circulation(VOC) zonal length scale and moist static energy(MSE)tendency zonal asymmetry on MJO phase speed were investigated based on diagnosis of ERA-Interim data over a 40-year period(1979-2019).In a key region(80°-100°E),128 MJO events were selected.It was found that the larger the VOC zonal length scale,the faster the MJO eastward propagation.The correlation coefficient between them was 0.52,exceeding the 99% confidence level.A significant positive correlation(0.59) was also identified between the phase speed and MSE tendency zonal asymmetry.A linear regression model based on the aforementioned two parameters was constructed,and the phase speed could be estimated based on the model.The correlation coefficient between the reconstructed phase speed and its observed counterpart was 0.73,exceeding the 99% confidence level with an F-test.A composite analysis of the fast and slow groups indicated that the VOC zonal length scale was modulated by the background state.An El Nino(La Ni?a)-like SST pattern and associated precipitation anomalies promoted a larger(smaller) VOC zonal length scale and thus a faster(slower)propagation speed.A sensitivity test with a reference point in a different longitudinal zone(120°-140°E) was conducted.Again,there were significant relationships between the MJO phase speed and the two parameters.The correlation between the reconstructed and observed phase speed was 0.67,exceeding the 99% confidence level.展开更多

According to the theory of modern sociological about community, the migrant worker and city people’s relations belongs to typical in community’s relations with the outside community, among them not only isolates and repels psychologically mutually, but also has the direct conflicts of interest. This not only causes the migrant worker to suffer the prejudice and discrimination of city people, is hard to be a part of the city life, but also causes repellency urban institutional arrangements to disintegrate to a certain extent difficultly while the migrant worker is hard to enter in the urban system. Under this basis, this paper proposes the health and life stress assisted development trend of urbanization of the rural migrant workers basic research, the idea is new and innovative, in the later time we will apply it more.展开更多

The aim was to investigate the literacy developmental trends across the yea...Language, reading, and reading-related tasks were administered to 148 children from lower primary （Standard 1, 2, and 3） in Kenyan schools. The aim was to investigate the literacy developmental trends across the years and establish which of the two variables, word identification skills or target language oral proficiency influenced reading comprehension performance. The results indicated that word identification skills independently influenced reading comprehension performance in both standard 2 and standard 3 classes, but target language oral skills did not. Further, the analysis of invented spelling task performance revealed evidence of transfer of alphabetic coding skills of first language to English orthography. The spelling errors reflected letter-sound patterns not found in English orthography. Analysis of the miscues in the spelling task revealed that children rely on first language phonological processes to spell target language unfamiliar words as long the languages have a common alphabetic system.展开更多

In this paper,wavelet packet method is used to process gravity anomaly data obtained in Laos,and the separation result is good. From the very beginning of this heat machine, there are many of solutions that are better or worse fit to the global development trend. In this paper, the authors suggest the possibility closer to the optimal solution by introducing structural active zones, where the task is instantaneous(during one cycle) heat transfer to the skin layer on elements of the combustion chamber and to transfer part of the recovered heat to the next cycle, reaching a growth effect of the useful efficiency by 10% to 20%. The solution is different from the ones used by the fact that it is only partially insulating barrier, and the main goal is focused on supporting the next thermal cycle by which it is possible to affect as mentioned above. This paper describes the idea of the functioning of the active combustion chamber and pointed out the technical capabilities of its creation.展开更多
