In order to analyze the effect of scratch on the corrosion behaviour of a calcium phosphate conversion coating(CPCC)on AZ80,the electrochemical testing,scanning vibrating electrode technique(SVET),immersion test and h...In order to analyze the effect of scratch on the corrosion behaviour of a calcium phosphate conversion coating(CPCC)on AZ80,the electrochemical testing,scanning vibrating electrode technique(SVET),immersion test and hydrogen evolution experiment were performed to study the corrosion resistance of AZ80,AZ80 with CPCC and coated AZ80 with scratch.The results show that the coating improves the corrosion resistance of the AZ80 from a current density of(85±4)to(4±1)μA/cm^(2).When the coating was damaged,its protection on substrate would be reduced.The scratch with a length of around 12 mm on the coating reduced the corrosion resistance to a current density of(39±1)μA/cm^(2).In addition,the corrosion occurred initially in the scratch area and the corrosion site first occurred at the junction of the scratch and the coating.Besides,the micro corrosion mechanism of the specimen containing scratch was clarified.展开更多

According to the features of constrained optimization for multi-variable function, a multi-obj...The vehicle model of the recirculating ball-type electric power steering (EPS) system for the pure electric bus was built. According to the features of constrained optimization for multi-variable function, a multi-objective genetic algorithm (GA) was designed. Based on the model of system, the quantitative formula of the road feel, sensitivity, and operation stability of the steering were induced. Considering the road feel and sensitivity of steering as optimization objectives, and the operation stability of steering as constraint, the multi-objective GA was proposed and the system parameters were optimized. The simulation results show that the system optimized by multi-objective genetic algorithm has better road feel, steering sensibility and steering stability. The energy of steering road feel after optimization is 1.44 times larger than the one before optimization, and the energy of portability after optimization is 0.4 times larger than the one before optimization. The ground test was conducted in order to verify the feasibility of simulation results, and it is shown that the pure electric bus equipped with the recirculating ball-type EPS system can provide better road feel and better steering portability for the drivers, thus the optimization methods can provide a theoretical basis for the design and optimization of the recirculating ball-type EPS system.展开更多
The combination of a microchannel heat sink with impinging jets and dimples(MHSIJD) can effectively improve the flow and heat transfer performance on the cooling surface of electronic devices with very high heat fluxe...The combination of a microchannel heat sink with impinging jets and dimples(MHSIJD) can effectively improve the flow and heat transfer performance on the cooling surface of electronic devices with very high heat fluxes. Based on the previous work by analysing the effect of dimple radius on the overall performance of MHSIJD, the effects of dimple height and arrangement were numerically analysed. The velocity distribution, pressure drop, and thermal performance of MHSIJD under various dimple heights and arrangements were presented. The results showed that: MHSIJD with higher dimples had better overall performance with dimple radius being fixed; creating a mismatch between the impinging hole and dimple can solve the issue caused by the drift phenomenon; the mismatch between the impinging hole and dimple did not exhibit better overall performance than a well-matched design.展开更多
