The model of the SCG rotor drift is established through dimensionless processing, linearization within micro-displacement and the least-square approach. Both the measurement scheme of the SCG rotor drift based on the model and its parameter relationship are presented. To guarantee the potential of the suspension rotor to be zero, the distributing scheme of four pairs of detecting electrodes is presented. The scheme can measure the magnitude and the direction of the rotor drift. The negative factors for affecting the measurement precision of .the SCG rotor drift and simulation results of the total effects are given. Simulation results show that the distributing capacitance of these differential capacitance sensors, the zero potential of the rotor and the model error are the major negative factors. The methods for eliminating those negative factors and the application range of the model are given. The model ensures the relationship between the output voltage and the rotor drift be linear.展开更多

Then, 18650-type Li Mn2O4-graphite cells(nominal capacity of 1150 mA ·h) were assembled and studied. Results show that the cells containing three types of electrolyte are able to undertake 5C discharging current with above 93% capacity retention at-20 °C. Electrochemical impedance spectra show that the discharge capacity fading of Li-ion cells at low temperature is mainly ascribed to the charge transfer resistance increasing with temperature decreasing. In comparison, the cells containing electrolyte of 1.0 mol/L LiPF6 in EC/EMC/EA(1:1:2, mass ratio) have the highest capacity retention of 90% at-40 °C and 44.41% at-60 °C, due to its lowest charge-transfer resistance.展开更多

[ Methods] Genomic PCR and RT-PCR were carded out to isolate genomic DNA and cDNA sequences of BnEIN3 from oilseed rape, based on the highly conserved region of EIN3 gene from Arabidopsis thaliana and the homologous sequences of oilseed rape ESTs. Expression levels of BnEIN3 were detected in three varieties of oilseed rape inoculated with S. sclerotiorum by real-time quantitative PCR.[Results] A 1 947 bp DNA fragment was obtained from oilseed rape. The fragment shared 82% identity to A. thaliana EIIV3, encoded 614 amino acids containing an EIN3 domain, and was named as BnEIN3. Real-time PCR results showed that expression patterns of BnEIN3 were drastically different in different varieties. In highly resistant oilseed rape variety D083, BnEIN3 expression level was significantly increased 72 h after S. sclerotiorum inoculation whereas in middle resistant and susceptible varieties Zhongshuang 9 and 84039, BnEIN3 expression was suppressed. [ Conclusion ] BnEIIV3 may play an important role in oilseed rape resistance to S. sclerotiorum.展开更多

Together with the 221 previously observed 2^3△1g←A1∑u+←X1∑g+ Eu X Eg double resonance lines [J. Chem. Phys. 128, 204313 (2008)], molecular constants and the Rydberg-Klein-Rees potential energy curve of the 23△1g state have been recalculated (excluding 54 perturbed levels). The centrifugal distortion constant has been determined and agrees well with the value calculated based on standard empirical formulas. The hyperfine structure of the 23△1g state, which has not resolved in our sub-Doppler excitation spectra of the 23△1g state, has been interpreted with a preliminary simulation.展开更多

TNF is also involved in many types of diseases. In recent years, the molecular mechanisms of TNF functions have been intensively investigated. Studies from many laboratories have demonstrated that the TNF-mediated diverse biological responses are achieved through activating multiple signal- ing pathways. Especially the activation of transcription factors NF-κB and AP-1 plays a critical role in mediating these cellular responses. Several proteins, including FADD, the death domain kinase RIP and the TNF receptor associated factor TRAF2 have been identified as the key effectors of TNF signaling. Recently, we found that the effector mol- ecules of TNF signaling, such as RIP and TRAF2, are also involved in other cellular responses. These finding suggests that RIP and TRAF2 serve a broader role than as just an effector of TNF signaling.展开更多

METHODS: Thirty-six hepatocellular carcinoma specimens were obtained from Qidong Liver Cancer Institute and Department of Pathology of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. All primary antibodies (polyclonal antibodies) to TGF-β1, type H Transforming growth factor-beta receptor (TβR-Ⅱ), nuclear factor-kappaB (NF-KB), CD34, smad4 and smad7, secondary antibodies and immunohistochemical kit were purchased from Zhongshan Biotechnology Limited Company (Beijing, China). The expressions of TGF-β1, TβR-Ⅱ, NF- KB, smad4 and smad7 proteins in 36 specimens of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and its adjacent tissue were separately detected by immunohistochemistry to observe the relationship between TGF-β1 and TβR-Ⅱ, between NF-KB and TGF-β1, between smad4 and smad7 and between TGF-β1 or TβR-Ⅱ and microvessel density (MVD). MVD was determined by labelling the vessel endothelial cells with CD34. RESULTS: The expression of TGF-β1, smad7 and MVD was higher in HCC tissue than in adjacent HCC tissue (P〈0.01, P〈0.05,P〈0.01 respectively). The expression of TβR-Ⅱ and smad4 was lower in HCC tissue than in its adjacent tissue (P〈0.01, P〈0.05 respectively). The expression of TGF-β1 protein and NF-KB protein was consistent in HCC tissue. The expression of TGF-β1 and MVD was also consistent in HCC tissue. The expression of TIER- Ⅱ was negatively correlated with that of MVD in HCC tissue. CONCLUSION: The expressions of TGF-IB1, TβR- Ⅱ, NF-KB, smad4 and smad7 in HCC tissue, which are major up and down stream factors of TGF-β1-smad signal transduction pathway, are abnormal. These factors are closely related with NVD and may play an important role in HCC angiogenesis. The inhibitory action of TGF-β1 is weakened in hepatic carcinoma cells because of abnormality of TGF-β1 receptors (such as TIBR- Ⅱ) and postreceptors (such as smad4 and smad7). NF-KB may cause activation and production of TGF-β1.展开更多

The mycoparasitic interaction is host-specific and several research strategies have been applied to identify the main genes and compounds involved in the antagonist-plant-pathogen three-way interaction. During mycoparasitism, signals from the host fungus are recognised by Trichoderma, stimulating antifungal activities that are accompanied by morphological changes and the secretion of hydrolytic enzymes and antibiotics. Interestingly some morphological changes appeared highly conserved in the strategy of pathogenicity within the fungal world, i.e. the formation of appressoria as well as the secretion of hydrolytic enzymes seem to be general mechanisms of attack both for plant pathogens and mycoparasitic antagonists. This knowledge is being used to identify receptors and key components of signalling pathways involved in fungus-fungus interaction. For this purpose we have cloned the first genes (tmk1, tga1, tga3) from T. atroviride showing a high similarity to MAP kinase and G protein subunits (see abstract by Zeilinger et al.), which have been found to have an important role in pathogenicity by Magnaporthe grisea. To identify the function and involvement of these factors in mycoparasitism by T. atroviride, tmk1, tga1, tga3 disruptant strains were produced. The knock-out mutants were tested by in vivo biocontrol assays for their ability to inhibit soil and foliar plant pathogens such as Rhizoctonia solani, Pythium ultimum and Botrytis cinerea . Disruption of these genes corresponded to a complete loss of biocontrol ability, suggesting a significant role in mycoparasitism. In particular, it has been suggested that tga3 regulates the expression of chitinase-encoding genes, the secretion of the corresponding enzymes and the process of conidiation. Comparative proteome analysis of wild type and disruptants supported this hypothesis, and indicated many changes in the protein profiles of T. atroviride in different interaction conditions with plants and pathogenic hosts.展开更多

In this scheme, the cavity field is only virtually excited and thus the cavity decay is suppressed. The SWAP gate is realized by using only two lower fiux states of the SQUID system and the excited state would not be excited. Therefore, the effect of decoherence caused from the levels of the SQUID system is possibly minimized. The scheme can also be used to implement the SWAP gate with atoms.展开更多
