According to the identification theory, the frequency characteristic was achieved with the Matlab/ Ident toolbox. Then parametric model was established by adopting the subsection linearization method, and the damp value was estimated. The curve and function of damp changing with speed ratio was also established by fitting. In order to validate the identification results, the experimental output was compared with the output of the model in which torque was chosen as input signal and speed as output signal in Matlab/Ident toolbox. It was shown that model output is in good agreement with experimental output.展开更多

The relations of the mode-I stress intensity factor KI versus the subcritical crack growth velocity V and the fracture toughness KIC were obtained by the double torsion constant displacement load relaxation method. The behavior of subcritical crack growth was analyzed. The results show that lgKI-lgV relations of marble measured by this method accord with linear rule, i.e. the relations between subcritical crack growth velocity V and stress intensity factor KI have a power law, which is in good agreement with Charles theory. The testing results provide a basis for time-dependency of rock engineering stability.展开更多

The large-sized front wind rotor an...The authors have invented the superior wind power unit, which is composed of the tandem wind rotors and the double rotational armature type generator without the traditional stator. The large-sized front wind rotor and the small-sized rear wind rotor drive, as for the upwind type, the inner and the outer rotational armatures, respectively, in keeping the rotational torque counter-balanced between both wind rotors/armatures. The unique rotational behaviors of the tandem wind rotors and the fundamental performances of the unit have been discussed at the previous paper. Continuously, this paper investigates experimentally and numerically the flow condition around the wind rotors to know the flow interactions between the front and the rear wind rotors, and optimizes the blade profile in the front wind rotor. The front blade should work fruitfully at the larger radius and had better not work at the smaller radius for giving plenty of wind energy to the rear wind rotor, taking account of the flow interaction between both wind rotors.展开更多
A systematic methodology for solving the inverse dynamics of the Delta robot is presented.First,the inverse kinematics is solved based on the vector method.A new form of the Jacobi matrix formulized by the vectors is ...A systematic methodology for solving the inverse dynamics of the Delta robot is presented.First,the inverse kinematics is solved based on the vector method.A new form of the Jacobi matrix formulized by the vectors is obtained so the three types kinematics singularities namely inverse, direct and combined types, can be identified with the physical meaning.Then based on the principle of virtual work, a methodology for driving the dynamical equations of motion is developed.Meanwhile the whole actuating torques, the torques caused by the gravity, the velocity and the acceleration are computed respectively in the numerical example. Results show that torque caused by the acceleration term is much bigger than the other two terms.This approach leads to efficient algorithms since the constraint forces and moments of the robot system have been eliminated from the equations of motion and there is no differential equation for the whole procedure when the principle of virtual work is applied to solving the inverse dynamical problem.展开更多
