Modeled with UML statechart diagrams, the primary system functions and corresponding traversal features are enveloped into various orthogonal regions of a composite state. The mutual relationships between orthogonal regions are implied by the orders of broadcast events. Using a modular transition system as a basic computational model, the formalization description of A-O statechart models is proposed. The precise semantics of model elements and modeling procedures is given. The example study indicates that the separation strategy of crosscutting concerns is implemented in the design phase of the concurrent software system with this method. Meanwhile, the software modeling method has advantages of loose coupling, adaptability and traceability.展开更多

Besides, SDN also provides better Quality of Experience(QoE) for customers. However, the policy of the evolution from legacy networks to the SDNs overemphasizes the controllability of the network or TE while ignoring the customers' benefit. Standing in the customers' position, we propose an optimization scheme, named as Optimal Migration Schedule based on Customers' Benefit(OMSB), to produce an optimized migration schedule and maximize the benefit of customers. Not only the quality and quantity of paths availed by migration, but also the number of flows from the customers that can use these multi-paths are taken into consideration for the scheduling. We compare the OMSB with other six migration schemes in terms of the benefit of customers. Our results suggest that the sequence of the migration plays a vital role for customers, especially in the early stages of the network migration to the SDN.展开更多

The objective of this research is to study the problems of transition from a pure software implementation for an embodiment admitting one or more hardware components and to develop a methodology for automatic generation of migration of a software task into a hardware component in MPSoC. The transformation of a software task into a hardware task led to many changes, hardware part (connection, the requirement of an interrupt controller...), software part (at least one task, I/O (I/O), synchronization...) and an architectural point of view, the remarkable aspects of data storage. The experiment is done on the MJPEG decoder to illustrate the effectiveness of the authors' tool for automatic generation of migration.展开更多
