The strategic aim of the development of buildings' monitoring system was realized by mathematical and physical modelling of the faults (defects); analysis of characteristics sensitive to defects; selection of stability parameters and measurements; creation of automated system prototype; investigation of the methods applied for the monitoring system and diagnostics; development of software and separate elements of the system and approbation of the whole complex. Thorough evaluation of the technical state of the buildings numerical is executed using physical models and natural objects which support reliable state identification of the building and also helps to track changes.展开更多

To minimize this impact, many in the healthcare industry are highly interested in supporting prescription adherence among patients. They believe that information technology in general, and mobile technology in particular, can help in developing medical practices that can be highly conducive to high rates of prescription adherence by enhancing communication between patients and healthcare providers. To this end, a number of pharmacy management benefit companies plan to adopt SMS (Short Message Service) communication to reach their customers given the wider acceptance of SMS messaging among mobile phone users. However, most of these pharmacies are reluctant to purchase service agreements from SMS aggregators without a complete understanding of user, service and business requirements related to SMS messaging. Hence, many are in dire needs for prototypes of SMS servers that can help them define and refine these requirements before committing to costly agreements with SMS aggregators. This paper describes such a prototype for a pharmacy benefit management company located in the southeast of the United States.展开更多

Articular cartilage was isolated from dissected porcine knee joint n = 12. Isolated cells were plated as monolayers at a density of 1 × 105 cells/well in 12-well culture plates and incubated at 37℃ in a humid atmosphere of 5% carbon dioxide and 95% air. Cell cultures were treated for four days with various concentrations of bone morphogenetic protein-7 and resveratroL Cells were then collected and analysed for collagen type II expression by real time polymerase chain reaction and protein level quantification by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Cartilage tissue sections were localised for collagen type II by immunohistochemistry. Moreover, resveratrol and bone morphogenetic protein-7 effects on cartilage matrix contents were analysed by histology. Resveratrol and bone morphogenetic protein-7 stimulates expression of collagen type II mRNA and protein level accumulation in the surface zone and middle zone at 50μM + 300 ng/ml (RSV + BMP-7). Immunohistochemistry results confirmed the presence of collagen type II on articular cartilage. Histological tissue sections confirmed that chondrocytes were obtained from different zones of articular cartilage. The study suggests that a combination of bone morphogenetic protein-7 and resveratrol up-regulate the expression and synthesis of collagen type II.展开更多
