Deformation characteristics of light weight soil with different EPS (expanded polystyrene) sizes were investigated by consolidation tests.The results show that the confined stress-strain relation curve is in S shape,which has a good homologous relation with e-p curve and e-lgp curve,and three types of curves reflect obvious structural characteristics of light weight soil.When cement mixed ratio and EPS volume ratio are the same for different specimens,structural strength decreases with the increase of EPS size,but compressibility indexes basically keep unchanged within the structural strength.The settlement of light weight soil can be divided into instantaneous settlement and primary consolidation settlement.It has no obvious rheology property,and 90% of total consolidation deformation can be finished in 1 min.Settlement-time relation of light weight soil can be predicted by the hyperbolic model.S-lgt curve of light weight soil is not in anti-S shape.It is proved that there is no secondary consolidation section,so consolidation coefficient cannot be obtained by time logarithm method.Structural strength and unit price decrease with the increase of EPS size,but the reducing rate of the structural strength is lower than that of the unit price,so the cost of mixed soil can be reduced by increasing the EPS size.The EPS beads with 3-5 mm in diameter are suggested to be used in the construction process,and the prescription of mixed soil can be optimized. 展开更多

MgO/Al2O3 and Fe2O3/MgO/Al2O3 solid bases were prepared through mixing method. After sulfonated cobalt phthalocyanine (CoPcS) being supported on these solid bases, the catalytic performance of these catalysts was evaluated by means of mercaptan oxidation reaction. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), CO2 temperature-programmed desorption (CO2-TPD), FTIR spectroscopy, and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). Investigation was focused on the effect of Fe2O3 on activity, crystal structure, basicity, and stability of the catalyst and also on the role of Fe2O3 in the mercaptan oxidation processes. Test results have shown that the Fe2O3/MgO/Al2O3- CoPcS catalyst has a higher initial activity and a much longer service life than the MgO/Al2O3-CoPcS catalyst. The increased types of basic sites coupled with an enhanced oxidation ability resulted from the addition of Fe2O3 have contributed to the improvement of the catalytic activity of the MgO/Al2O3-CoPcS catalyst. 展开更多

We study radiative decays of T to light quark jets in nonrelativistic QCD by taking both the color singlet and color octet b^-b operators into consideration. The cut for quark jet energy and cut for the angle between two quark jets are introduced. The sensitivity to the soft and collinear singularities in the loop integrals are greatly reduced by these cuts. With the jet energy cut of about 1 GeV, and the jet angle cut of about 36°, the branching ratio for γ→ rq^- is found to be 8.2 × 10^-4 from color singlet contributions. The color octet contributions could be much larger than that of color singlet, depending on the estimate of the color octet matrix elements. This process may provide a new test for the color octet mechanism in nonrelativistic QCD. 展开更多

A series of Fe/AC catalysts for catalytic hydrogenation of CO to light hydrocarbons(LHCs) were prepared by decomposing Fe(CO)5 in an autoclave.The catalysts activities were tested in a high-pressure micro reactor.The results show that both CO conversion and LHCs selectivity were significantly affected by the amount of Fe loaded onto the catalysts.The optimum Fe content was determined to be 10% by weight of the catalyst.Over the corresponding catalyst(i.e.,10% Fe/C catalyst),the conversion of CO and the selectivity of LHCs were 94.8% and 59.2%,respectively,at 360 °C.Based on various catalyst characterization techniques,such as XRD,BET and SEM,the catalysts surface areas and pore volume decreased and the smaller particles agglomerated at the edges and corners in the outer region of the support with the increasing Fe content.The agglomerated particles increased greatly when the iron content of the catalyst was higher than 10%.The decrease of catalyst activity can be due to the agglomerated particles. 展开更多

The adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference systems(ANFIS)are widely used in the concrete technology.In this research,the compressive strength of light weight concrete was determined.To this end,the scoria percentage and curing day variables were used as the input parameters,and compressive strength and tensile strength were used as the output parameters.In addition,100 patterns were used,70%of which were used for training and 30%were used for testing.To assess the precision of the neuro-fuzzy system,it was compared using two linear regression models.The comparisons were carried out in the training and testing phases.Research results revealed that the neuro-fuzzy systems model offers more potential,flexibility,and precision than the statistical models. 展开更多

OPKH: A Lightweight Online Approach to Protecting Kernel Hooks in Kernel Modules

Once these data are com- promised by attackers, they can change the control flow of OS kemel's execution. Previ- ous solutions suffer from limitations in that: 1) some methods require modifying the source code of OS kernel and kernel modules, which is less practical for wide deployment; 2) other methods cannot well protect the kernel hooks and function return addresses inside kernel mo- dules whose memory locations cannot be pre- determined. To address these problems, we propose OPKH, an on-the-fly hook protection system based on the virtualization technology. Compared with previous solutions, OPKH off- ers the protected OS a fully transparent envi- ronment and an easy deployment. In general, the working procedure of OPKH can be di- vided into two steps. First, we utilise the me- mory virtualization for offiine profiling so that the dynamic hooks can be identified. Second, we exploit the online patching technique to in- strument the hooks for run-time protection. The experiments show that our system can pro- tect the dynamic hooks effectively with mini- mal performance overhead. 展开更多

Objective To observe the effect of electroacupuncture(EA)at the pressure points Zu San Li(ST36),San Yin Jiao(SP6)and Liang Men(ST21)on platelet-derived growth factor(PDGF)and the ultrastructure of mitochondria in rats with diabetic gastroparesis(DGP).Methods Sixty Sprague Dawley(SD)rats were randomly separated into a normal control group(NC,n=10)and a modeling group(n=50).Rats in the modeling group received an injection of 2%streptozotocin(STZ)and a high-fat and highglucose diet for eight weeks to establish a DGP rat model.At the same time,blood glucose and a general symptom score were recorded every week.After modeling,30 successfully modeled rats were randomly separated into the following groups:the DGP group(n=10),the EA group(n=10)and the metoclopramide(MP)group(n=10).After three weeks of intervention,the gastrointestinal propulsive rate was measured by measuring the optical density(OD).The concentration of Ca2+was determined by fluorescence immunoassay,and levels of serum insulin(INS)and PDGF were determined by ELISA.The ultrastructure of mitochondria was observed with transmission electron microscopy.Results(1)After intervention,levels of blood glucose and the general symptom score were greatly decreased in the EA group compared to the DGP group(P<0.01).Compared with the DGP group,the gastric emptying rate and the intestinal propulsive rate of the EA group was significantly improved(P<0.01),and there was no statistically significant difference between the EA and the NC groups.(2)Compared with the NC group,the levels of INS in the DGP group markedly decreased(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference of INS levels between the EA and the MP roups.(3)Compared with the DGP group,theconcentration of Ca2+in the EA and the MP groups significantly increased(P<0.01,P<0.05,respectively).(4)Compared with the NC group,the average OD of PDGF in the DGP group was significantly higher(P<0.01).Compared with the DGP group,levels of PDGF in the EA group increased significantly(P<0.01).(5)There were abundant mitochondria with a clear structure and complete cristae in the NC group.However,in the DGP group,mitochondria were severely swollen,partly vacuolated,and cristae were either fractured,absent,or shortened.In the EA group,mitochondria were slightly swollen,with clear cristae.Conclusions Electroacupuncture at the points Zu San Li(ST36),San Yin Jiao(SP6)and Liang Men(ST21)may improve gastric motility in DGP by up-regulating the amount of PDGF and improving the ultrastructure of mitochondria. 展开更多

Highly distinct bands were displayed in agarose gel electrophoresls ofthe product digested with restrictlon enzymes, which were successfully used in constructingrestriction map and molecular clone of mitochondrial genes. With DNAs thus obtained, we havecloned cysteine tRNA gene (tRNA^(Cys) gene) of carp mitochondria, determined the nucleotide sequenceof it and the light strand origin, and depicted the cloverleaf secondary structure of tDNA^(Cya) and thelight strand origin. Analysis of nucleotide sequences of tRNA^(Cy) genes of 5 vertebrates has revealedunusual features of carp mitochondrial tRNA^(Cy) gene as compared with their cytoplasmic counter-parts, Altogether 36 bases were found in the light strand origin of carp mitochondriaf: 11 pairs in thestem; and 14 bases in the loop. As compared with those of other 11 vertebrate species, the sequenceof the stem is very conservative while both sequence and length of the loop are quite variable. The seismic analysis of a rigid-framed prestressed concrete bridge in Tianjin Light Railway is performed. A 3-D dynamic finite element model of the bridge is established considering the weakening effect caused by the soft soil foundation. After the dynamic characteristics are calculated in terms of natural frequencies and modes, the seismic analysis is carried out using the modal response spectrum method and the time-history method, respectively. Based on the calculated results, the reasonable design values are finally suggested as the basis of the seismic design of the bridge, and meanwhile the problems encountered were also analyzed. Finally, some conclusions are drawn as: 1) Despite the superiority of rigid-framed prestressed concrete bridge, the upper and lower ends of the piers of the bridge are proved to be the crucial parts of the bridge, which are easily destroyed under designed earthquake excitations and should be carefully analyzed and designed; 2) The soft soil foundation can possibly result in rather weakening of the lateral rigidity of the rigid-framed bridge, and should be paid considerable attention; 3) The modal response spectrum method, combined with time-history method, is suggested for the seismic analysis in engineering design of the rigid-framed prestressed concrete bridge. 展开更多

In this work we compare the DNS results(Fabregat et al.2021,Fabregat et al.2021)for a mild cough already reported in the literarure with those obtained with a compressible URANS equations with a k-ϵturbulence model.In both cases,the dispersed phase has been modelled as spherical Lagrangian particles using the one-way coupling assumption.Overall,the URANS model is capable of reproducing the observed tendency of light particles under 64µm in diameter to rise due to the action of the drag exerted by the buoyant puff generated by the cough.Both DNS and URANS found that particles above 64µm will tend to describe parabolic trajectories under the action of gravitational forces.Grid independence analysis allows to qualify the impact of increasing mesh resolution on the particle cloud statistics as flow evolves.Results suggest that the k-ϵmodel overpredicts the horizontal displacement of the particles smaller than 64µm while the opposite occurs for the particles larger than 64µm. 展开更多

The determination of initial equilibrium shapes is a common problem in research work and engineering applications related to membrane structures. Using a general structural analysis framework of the finite particle method (FPM), this paper presents the first application of the FPM and a recently-developed membrane model to the shape analysis of light weight mem- branes. The FPM is rooted in vector mechanics and physical viewpoints. It discretizes the analyzed domain into a group of parti- cles linked by elements, and the motion of the free particles is directly described by Newton's second law while the constrained ones follow the prescribed paths. An efficient physical modeling procedure of handling geometric nonlinearity has been developed to evaluate the particle interaction forces. To achieve the equilibrium shape as fast as possible, an integral-form, explicit time integration scheme has been proposed for solving the equation of motion. The equilibrium shape can be obtained naturally without nonlinear iterative correction and global stiffness matrix integration. Two classical curved surfaces of tension membranes pro- duced under the uniform-stress condition are presented to verify the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method. 展开更多
