The characteristic of post-growth film was investigated by using the RAMAN spectrum and the capacitance-frequency curve. The results show that the resistivities and frequency response enhance after the post-treatments in solution of H2SO4 and H2O2 and an annealing under N2 atmosphere at 500 ℃ for 60 min. Under a bias voltage of 100 V, the net photocurrent is obtained under 55Fe(5.9 keV) X-rays and 241Am (5.5 MeV) α particles radiation, respectively. The photocurrent increases rapidly at first and becomes stable for the “pumping” effect with the radiation time.展开更多

To get the correct tunneling amplitude and emission rate, we adopt and develop the Angheben-Nadalini-Vanzo Zerbini covariant approach to cover the effects of rotation and electronic discharge all at once, and the effect of back reaction is also taken into account. This constitutes a unified approach to the tunneling problem. Provided the first law of thermodynamics for black rings holds, the emission rate is proportional to the exponential of the change of Bekenstein-Hawking entropy. Explicit calculation for black ring temperatures agrees exactly with the results obtained via the classical surface gravity method and the quasi-local formalism.展开更多

It's discovered that coal and sandstone failure under load have three kinds of infrared thermal features as well as infrared forewarning messages. That are: (1) temperature rises gradually but drops before failure ; (2) temperature rises gradually but quickly rises before failure; (3) first rises, then drops and lower temperature emerges before failure. The further researches and the prospect of micro-wave remote sensing detection .on ground pressure is also discussed.展开更多

Some of the samples were not allowed to heat up, to study the athermal effect of microwaves. The samples exposed to microwaves where their temperature was allowed to increase showed a higher degree of chemical oxygen demand (COD), protein and carbohydrate solubilization compared to a control. The size distribution of particles was changed after exposure of TWAS to microwaves. These results were also observed in the samples exposed to microwaves but kept at a constant temperature, suggesting the occurrence of a microwave athermal effect. Wherein the actuation of liquid is a key technic. In a variety of methods for controlling microscale liquid, the light actuation is particularly interesting. The light actuation offers a novel way to control the flow of fluids for biomedical and biotechnological applications, etc.. The complexity and cost of devices sometimes may be greatly reduced by using complete optical control and may be more flexible in operation than other methods. However the light actuation of liquid is a burgeoning field as well as optofluidics. There is lots of work to do. Here we systematically describe four mechanisms for the light actuation of liquid based on the following points: optoelectrowetting, photothermal effect, radiation pressure, photosensitive substance.展开更多

When self-gravitating action, energy conservation, and angular momentum conservation are taken into account, the emission rate of the particle on the event horizon is related to the change of Bekenstein-Hawking entropy and the emission spectrum is not precisely thermal, but is consistent with an underlying unitary theory.展开更多

Methods: A randomized, controlled experiment, was performed at the Department of Radiology Laboratory, the First Hospital Affiliated to Soochow University, between September 2004 and January 2006. Brain glioma SHG-44 cells were divided into three groups: SHG-44, SHG-44-10, and SHG-44-10 + ACE cells groups. The SHG-44-10 cells group was irradiated with dose of 10 Gy by a linear accelerator (6 MVX). It was passaged for 15 generations and cultured in RPMI-1640 culture media. Then SHG-44-10 + ACE cells group was treated with ACE. Measures: Community re-double time, mean lethal dose (DO), extrapolation number (N), fraction surviving fraction irradiated by 2 Gy dose (SF2), quasi-threshold dose (Dq), and cell cycle. Results: The SF2 of the SHG-44, SHG-44-10, and SHG-44-10 + ACE cells groups were 70.8%, 80.6% and 45.2%, respectively, with significance (P = 0.040). The SHG-44-10 and SHG-44-10 + ACE cells groups were irradiated with 8 Gy. After 12 hours, the G2/M ratio of the SHG-44-10 and SHG-44-10 + ACE cells groups were indicating significantly higher ratio compared to pre-irradiated groups (P 〈 0.01). After 24 hours, the G2/M ratio of the SHG-44-10 cells group decreased rapidly, while the ratio of the SHG-44-10 + ACE cells group still maintained in high level. Conclusion: In the present study, Subtoxic dose of ACE increased the radiosensitivity of the progeny of irradiated human glioma cell. ACE may be an useful radiosensitivity agent in the treatment of recrudescent human malignant glioma.展开更多

The defects in crystals can be produced in high concentration by means of chemical impurities, radiation, mechanical work and others processes. This study is concerned with the TL properties of quaternary mixtures of alkali halide crystals when they are irradiated with beta and gamma-rays. The samples were made mixing KCI, KBr, RbCI, RbBr salts doped with divalent europium (Eu2+), by the Czochralski method sintering at 400 ~C during 6 hours in a N2 atmosphere. The samples were exposed to beta and gamma rays. We present the TL glow curves, demonstrating that the nature of the defects in the crystals can be produced by trapping states and recombination mechanisms. The highest temperature TL curves are the most interesting due to possible applications in dosimetry and optical energy storage.展开更多
