[Objective] This study was to construct VPDN-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system, in order to achieve the backup transmission of real-time meteorological services in all levels of meteorol...[Objective] This study was to construct VPDN-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system, in order to achieve the backup transmission of real-time meteorological services in all levels of meteorological stations. [Method] The current situations and business requirements of municipal meteorological networks are analyzed, putting forward the idea of backup routes that using VPDN-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system as the ground transmission line. And the network structure, operation mode and the system implementation are described in detail. [Result] VPDN-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system realizes the backup of ground line. Compared with the Modem dial-up, it is more stable and with faster transferring speed. With the rapid development of communication technology and computer technology, the information transmission system will be more efficient and stable, and will play a greater role in meteorological information transmission. [Conclusion] With the continuous development of modern meteorology, various types of meteorological data increase, presenting higher demand for the meteorological information transmission system. The established VPND-based 3G wireless meteorological information transmission system of this study provides a solution for backup transmission of real-time meteorological services.展开更多

By introducing a new input-output model, the time-delay system is embedded in a family of systems with a forward system without time delay and a dynamical feedback uncertainty. A sufficient and necessary condition, which guarantees the system regular, impulse-free and stable for all admissible uncertainties, is obtained. Based on the strict linear matrix inequality, the desired robust state feedback controller is also obtained. This new model can be divided into three submodels in terms of the pra...To simulate the process of electrode operation, a dynamic model describing the electrode system of three-phase electric arc furnace was developed. This new model can be divided into three submodels in terms of the practical situation. They are the power supply system model the electric arc model and the hydraulic actuator system model. According to the basic circuit theory, the power supply system model where the high voltage transmission circuit and mutual inductances were considered, was set up. The electric arc model, which was novel for the electrode control, served as the electrical load and was connected to the power supply system model. The hydraulic actuator system model consists of the proportional valve part that is modeled to capture the dead-zone nonlinear characteristics and the hydraulic cylinder part where the impact of the load force is taken into account. By comparing simulation data and actual data, the results show that the electrode system model is proved to be accurate.展开更多

Then comparisons are performed between the GDAS and the traditional multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system to analyze the ergodic capacity of the GDAS and make conclusions that it is impossible to achieve an analytical expression for the ergodic capacity of the GDAS. Moreover, in order to evaluate the performance of the ergodic capacity of the GDAS conveniently, the analytical lower bound and upper bound of the ergodic capacity of the GDAS are derived by using the results from multivariate statistics and matrix inequalities, under the scenarios of Rayleigh-lognormal fading and equal power allocation scheme at transmitter. Smooth and/or p -times differentiable step functions are propsed and incor- porated in the output tracking error transformation to overcome difficulties due to the asynxnetric limit range on the output tracking error. Polyphase systems belong to the third type, three phase system is the most popular among them. The purpose of this article is another attempt to build a one-wired (without ground) system--the transmission of electrical energy. In this paper an original idea of building such a system is justified, the results of simulations and laboratory modeling are presented. It is shown that the proposed method can reduce the cost of electric transmission lines, the losses in them and significantly reduce interferences.展开更多

In this scheme, a unique vector from a set of orthogonal vectors is assigned to ea...In this paper, a novel multiple trellis coded orthogonal transmit scheme is proposed to exploit transmit diversity in fading channels. In this scheme, a unique vector from a set of orthogonal vectors is assigned to each transmit antenna. Each of the output symbols from the multiple trellis encoder is multiplied with one of these orthogonal vectors and transmitted from corresponding transmit antennas. By correlating with corresponding orthogonal vectors, the receiver separates symbols transmitted from different transmit antennas. This scheme can be adopted in coherent/differential systems with any number of transmit antennas. It is shown that the proposed scheme encompasses the conventional trellis coded unitary space-time modulation based on the optimal cyclic group codes as a special case. We also propose two better designs over the conventional trellis coded unitary space-time modulation. The first design uses 8 Phase Shift Keying (8-PSK) constellations instead of 16 Phase Shift Keying (16-PSK) constellations in the conventional trellis coded unitary space-time modulation. As a result, the product distance of this new design is much larger than that of the conventional trellis coded unitary space-time modulation. The second design introduces constellations with multiple levels of amplitudes into the design of the multiple trellis coded orthogonal transmit scheme. For both designs, simulations show that multiple trellis coded orthogonal transmit schemes can achieve better performance than the conventional trellis coded unitarv space-time schemes.展开更多

A retrospective review of 100 examinations performed with 2 different Small-bowel capsule endoscopy (SBCE) sys- tems (PillCam and MiroCam) was performed. The oral cavity/aero-digestive tract (i.e., tongue, uvula and/or epiglottis) was captured/identified in almost all (99%) of PillCam videos but in none of MiroCam cases, P 〈 0.0001. Furthermore, oesophageal images (i.e., from the upper oesophageal sphincter to the Z-line were cap- tured in 99% of PillCam videos (mean =1= SD, 60.5 ± 334.1 frames, range: 0-3329 frames) and in 66% of Mi- roCam cases (mean ± SD, 11.1 ± 46.5 frames, range: 0-382 frames), P 〈 0.0001. The Z-line was identified in 42% of PilICam videos and 17% of MiroCam, P = 0.0002. This information might be useful when perform- ing SBCE in patients with high risks for aspiration.展开更多

The paper aims at the modeling of multi-output systems by LS-SVR. The multi-output LS-SVR is derived in detail. To avoid the inversion of large matrix, the recursive algorithm of the parameters is given, which makes the online algorithm of LS-SVR practical. Since the computing time increases with the number of training samples, the sparseness is studied based on the pro-jection of online LS-SVR. The residual of projection less than a threshold is omitted, so that a lot of samples are kept out of the training set and the sparseness is obtained. The standard LS-SVR, nonsparse online LS-SVR and sparse online LS-SVR with different threshold are used for modeling the isomerization of C8 aromatics. The root-mean-square-error (RMSE), number of support vectors and running time of three algorithms are compared and the result indicates that the performance of sparse online LS-SVR is more favorable.展开更多

文摘Comprehensive study on novel Linear-Dispersion Division Multiple-Access(LDDMA) for multi-user uplink Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO)systems is proposed.In the new multi-plexing scheme,each user’s information symbol is dispersed by a User-Specific Matrix(USM)both inspace and time domain and linearly combined at base-station side.And a simple random search al-gorithm,based on capacity maximization criteria,is developed to generate a bank of USMs.Simulationresults are presented to demonstrate the advantages of LDDMA.When the Bit Error Rate(BER)reaches 10–3,the performance gains are 3dB and 5dB,compared with Time-Division Linear DispersionCodes(TD-LDC)and BLAST,respectively.

文摘This paper illustrates the performance of a mobile positioning technique applicable to a GSM network.An experimental system of a network-based GSM positioning for ITS has been proposed, and the hybrid TOA-TDOA method based on GSM signaling has been analyzed and used. The performance of the proposed system is showed through simulations in urban and suburban environments. The accuracy for 67% mobile stations is 70 m in urban and 120 m in suburban. The accuracy, coverage and network load of positioning system are also analyzed.
