Reversed micelle solutions were used to be the models of physiological environment of biological cell and tissue. In PAQ/EG-H2O homogeneous solution, the excited triplet of PAQ (3PAQ*) abstracts hydrogen atom from solvent EG. In PAQ/VC/EG-H2O solution, 3pAQ* abstracts hydrogen atom not only from solvent EG but also from VC. The quenching rate constant of 3pAQ* by VC is close to the diffusion-controlled value of 1.41 × 108 L/(mol.s). In hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB)/EG-H2O and aerosol OT (AOT)/EG- H2O reversed micelle solutions, 3pAQ* and VC react around the water-oil interface of the reversed micelle. Exit of 3pAQ* from the lipid phase slows down the quenching reaction. For Triton X-100 (TX-100)/EG-H2O reversed micelle solution, PAQ and VC coexist inside the hydrophilic polyethylene glycol core, and the quenching rate constant of 3pAQ* by VC is larger than those in AOT/EG-H2O and CTAB/EG-H2O reversed micelle solutions, even a little larger than that in EG-H2O homogeneous solution. The strong emissive chemically induced dynamic electron polarization of As'- resulted from the effective TM spin polarization transfer in hydrogen abstraction of 3pAQ* from VC.展开更多

The downward vibrational frequency shift of the C-O stretching mode in adsorbed Mo(CO)6 illustrates that different interactions of adsorbed Mo(CO)6 occur on clean Si(111) and SiO2/Si(111) surfaces, weak on the former and strong on the latter. The strong interaction on SiO2/Si(111) might lead to the partial dissociation of Mo(CO)6, consequently the formation of molybdenum subcarbonyls. Therefore, employing Mo(CO)6 as the precursor, metallic molybdenum could be successfully deposited on the SiO2/Si(111) surface but not on the clean Si(111) surface. A portion of the deposited metallic molybdenum is transformed into the MoOa on the SiO2/Si(111) surface upon heating, and the evolved MoO3 finally desorbs from the substrate upon annealing at elevated temperatures.展开更多

With noticeable developments in the industry application of the method, a need for careful analysis of the plasma with both time and space identification is desirable. Therefore, a spectral measurement system is developed in this paper for diagnosing arc plasma with time and space identification. With a new hollow probe scanning method, the instrument can be used to provide information like energy distribution of plasma, temperature within the arc plasma, which are of great significance with the requirement of space identification. Furthermore, the system can also be used to capture the instant state of the arc plasma with the synchronic triggering system, which uses high speed photo and electrical signal as the time criterion. The industry applications prove that the system works well for online detection of the arc plasma.展开更多

The orbit of the vibration of rotor displacement is respectively examined on the four impact conditions, which are the normal state with no impact, the early sharp impact statement, the semi sharp impact statement and the terminal blunt impact statement. The route to chaos, appearing with the early sharp impact, is observed for the first time. By analyzing the frequency domain characteristics of the experimental data on four impact conditions, it is testified that the appearance of the sub harmonic vibrations of the order 1/3 and 1/4 is the effective evidence to judge whether or not the blade has initial light rub impact. When there are only the harmonic vibrations of the order of 1/1 and 1/2, the blade stator rub impact faults have become very serious.展开更多

Based on the rate distribution model, the wavelength-dependent emission dynamics shows that the intrinsic exciton, the exciton in the interface defect state and that in donor-acceptor pair state (DAPS) together participate in the photoluminescence process of QDs, and the whole emission process is mainly dependent on the DAPS emission. To further improve the accuracy and efficiency of the Radon transform, we developed the 2- fdomain high-resolution Radon transform based on the fast and modified parabolic Radon transform presented by Abbad. The introduction of a new variable 2 makes the transform operator frequency-independent. Thus, we need to calculate the transform operator and its inverse operator only once, which greatly improves the computational efficiency. Besides, because the primaries and multiples are distributed on straight lines with different slopes in the 2-fdomain, we can easily choose the filtering operator to suppress the multiples. At the same time, the proposed method offers the advantage of high-resolution Radon transform, which can greatly improve the precision of attenuating the multiples. Numerical experiments suggest that the multiples are well suppressed and the amplitude versus offset characteristics of the primaries are well maintained. Real data processing results further verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the method.展开更多

However, convened wave data is characterized by a low signal-to-noise ratio and low resolution, because the conventional deconvolution technology is easily affected by the frequency range limits, and there is limited scope for improving its resolution. The spectral inversion techniques is used to identify λ/8 thin layers and its breakthrough regarding band range limits has greatly improved the seismic resolution. The difficulty associated with this technology is how to use the stable inversion algorithm to obtain a high-precision reflection coefficient, and then to use this reflection coefficient to reconstruct broadband data for processing. In this paper, we focus on how to improve the vertical resolution of the converted PS-wave for multi-wave data processing. Based on previous research, we propose a least squares inversion algorithm with a total variation constraint, in which we uses the total variance as a priori information to solve under-determined problems, thereby improving the accuracy and stability of the inversion. Here, we simulate the Gaussian fitting amplitude spectrum to obtain broadband wavelet data, which we then process to obtain a higher resolution converted wave. We successfully apply the proposed inversion technology in the processing of high-resolution data from the Penglai region to obtain higher resolution convened wave data, which we then verify in a theoretical test. Improving the resolution of converted PS-wave data will provide more accurate data for subsequent velocity inversion and the extraction of reservoir reflection information.展开更多

The pronounced resonance which appears at 5.5 eV above the Fermi level in two-photon photoemission spectroscopy (2PPE) is associated with the photocatalyzed dissociation of methanol at fivefold coordinated Ti sites (Ti5c) on TiO2 (110) surface [Chem- ical Science 1, 575 (2010)]. To check whether this resonance signal arises from initial or intermediate states, photon energy dependent 2PPE and comparison between one-photon photoemission spectroscopy and 2PPE have been performed. Both results consistently sug- gest the resonance signal originates from the initially unoccupied intermediate states, i.e., excited states. Dispersion measurements suggest the excited state is localized. Time-resolved studies show the lifetime of the excited state is 24 fs. This work presents comprehensive char- acterization of the excited states on methanol/TiO2(110) interface, and provides elaborate experimental data for the development of theoretical methods in reproducing the excited states on TiO2 surfaces and interfaces.展开更多

Quantitative studies of the impacts of rasterization on data accuracy can help improve data resolution and regional data accuracy. Through a case study of cropland data for Jiangsu and Anhui provinces in China, this research compared data accuracy with different data sources, rasterization methods, and grid sizes. First, we investigated the influence of different data sources on gridded data accuracy. The temporal trends of the History Database of the Global Environment (HYDE), Chinese Historical Cropland Data (CHCD), and Suwan Cropland Data (SWCD) datasets were more similar. However, differ- ent spatial resolutions of cropland source data in the CHCD and SWCD datasets revealed an average difference of 16.61% when provin- cial and county data were downscaled to a 10 x 10 km2 grid for comparison. Second, the influence of selection of the potential arable land reclamation rate and temperature factors, as well as the different processing methods for water factors, on accuracy of gridded datasets was investigated. Applying the reclamation rate of potential cropland to grid-processing increased the diversity of spatial distri- bution but resulted in only a slightly greater standard deviation, which increased by 4.05. Temperature factors only produced relative disparities within 10% and absolute disparities within 2 km2 over more than 90% of grid cells. For the different processing methods for water factors, the HYDE dataset distributed 70% more cropland in grid cells along riverbanks, at the abandoned Yellow River Estuary (located in Binhai County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province), and around Hongze Lake, than did the SWCD dataset. Finally, we ex- plored the influence of different grid sizes. Absolute accuracy disparities by unit area for the year 2000 were within 0.1 km2 at a 1 km2 grid size, a 25% improvement over the 10 km2 grid size. Compared to the outcomes of other similar studies, this demonstrates that some model hypotheses and grid-processing methods in international land datasets are truly incongruent with actual land reclamation proc- esses, at least in China. Combining the model-based methods with historical empirical data may be a better way to improve the accuracy of regional scale datasets. Exploring methods for the above aspects improved the accuracy of historical crop/and gridded datasets for finer regional scales.展开更多
