The obtained rigorous instantaneous formulation, in fact, is expressed as an operator sandwiched by two "reduced BS wave functions" properly, while the reduced BS wave functions appearing in the formulation are the rigorous solutions of the instantaneous BS equation, and they may relate to Schroedinger wave functions straightforwardly. We also show that the rigorous instantaneous formulation is gauge-invariant with respect to the Uem(1) transformation precisely, if the concerned transitions are radiative. We obtain a bound state for the bbnn configuration with quantum number JR=1^+, I = 0 and for the ccnn (JR=1^+, I=O) configuration, which is not bound but slightly above the D^* D^* threshold (n is u or d quark). Meanwhile, we also conclude that a weakly bound state in bbnn system can also be found without considering the ehiral quark interactions between the two light quarks, yet its binding energy is weaker than that with the chiral quark interactions.展开更多

The analysis presented here provides insight into the dynamic response of the "Dualistie" structure rock slope. By investigating the principle of energy distribution, it is shown that the effect of a joint plays a significant role in slope stability analysis. A dynamic reflection and transmission model (RTM) for the "Dualistic" structure rock slope and explicit dynamic equations are established to analyze the dynamic response of a slope, based on the theory of elastic mechanics and the principle of seismic wave propagation. The theoretical simulation solutions show that the dynamic response of the "Dualistic" structure rock slope (soft-hard) model is greater than that of the "Dualistic" strueture rock slope (hard-soft) model, especially in the slope crest. The magnifying effect of rigid foundation on the dynamic response is more obvious than that of soft foundation. With the amplitude increasing, the cracks could be found in the right slope (soft-hard) crest. The crest failure is firstly observed in the right slope (soft-hard) during the experimental process. The reliability of theoretical model is also investigated by experiment analysis. The conclusions derived in this paper could also be used in future evaluations of Multi-layer rock slopes.展开更多

The boundary element method is treated with the source and doublet distributions on the panel surface and cavity surface by usethe of the Dirichlet type boundary conditions. An iterative solution approach is used to determine the cavity shape on partially cavitating hydrofoils. In the case of a specified cavitation number and cavity length, the iterative solution method proceeds by addition or subtraction of a displacement thickness on the cavity surface of the hydrofoil. The appropriate cavity shape is obtained by the dynamic boundary condition of the cavity surface and the kinematic boundary condition of the whole foil surface including the cavity. For a given cavitation number the cavity length of the 2D hydrofoil is determined according to the minimum error criterion among different cavity lengths, which satisfies the dynamic boundary condition on the cavity surface. The NACA 16006, NACA 16012 and NACA 16015 hydrofoil sections are investigated for two angles of attack. The results are compared with other potential based boundary element codes, the PCPAN and a commercial CFD code (FLUENT). Consequently, it has been shown that the results obtained from the two dimensional approach are consistent with those obtained from the others.展开更多

First, the sliding mass is divided into vertical slices according to this method, which is irrational to some extent in the seismic design of slope. Second, only peak ground acceleration (PGA) is considered, and the effects of shaking frequency and duration on slope stability are neglected. And then, based on the theory of elastic wave and the summarized geological model, this paper put forwards an improved method of pseudo-method by using the theory of elastic wave and Hilbert-Huang transform. The improved pseudostatic method gives reasonable considerations to the time-frequency effects of seismic wave and its rationality has been verified by the shaking table test. This method can evaluate the safety of a slope, the happening time and the scale of landslides. At the same time, this method also can improve the high accuracy of the evaluation of the safety of the slope.展开更多

Both static and dynamic response equations as well as the corresponding natural boundary conditions of the box girder are deduced. The concept of original ecological tridimensional slope vegetation is proposed in this paper, and the original ecological tridimensional slope vegetation is studied through theoretical analysis and experiments. Specifically, the mechanical effect of slope vegetation in reinforcing the cohesion and shear strength of soil mass is firstly discussed, and then experiments are performed to study the water interception and containing function of slope under various vegetation conditions. Moreover, the relation between soil moisture and cohesion, the relation between root distribution density and cohesion, and the relation between root distribution density and soil shear strength are also studied based on experiments. Finally, based on field observation, the soil erosion states of slope under various vegetation conditions are comparatively studied. It is found that the original ecological tridimensional slope, which combines grass, shrub and tree, can generate comprehensive slope protection effects, and hence strengthen the slope protection ability and bring multiple slope protection benefits. Thereby, the theoretical foundation for developing original ecological tridimensional slope vegetation is established.展开更多

Aircraft longitudinal dynamic response of the system with and without LEX is analyzed by solving the state equation of aircraft longitudinal motion. Aerodynamic force, moments, and longitudinal stability derivatives are estimated by three-dimensional low-order panel method. A novel aircraft model with LEX is optimized and its lift curve slope is increased by 13%-17% for Ma=0. 4-0. 9 and 12% for Ma=1. 5. Numerical results show that because the frequency and damping ratio in a short period are improved, the aircraft rapidly responds to a specified deflection control input in the battle area when LEX is installed. Finally, compared the results from the panel method with those from the Cy-20 aircraft flight test data, aerodynamic characteristics are verified.展开更多
