Here, we report a case of 70-year-old woman complaining of abdominal satiety, combined with non-specific pain in the right upper quadrant, qhe abdominal contrast-enhanced MR.I-scan revealed a large and thick-walled septus cystic lesion in the liver. During operation, the biliary fistula was confirmed in the cyst cavity. A silica gel tube was inserted via the cystic duct for cholangiography, which demonstrated communication between the cyst and biliary tract. We performed wide-scale cyst wall resection; the biliary fistula was completely repaired by the closure of communicated bile ducts. The postoperative course was uneventful, and the patient was discharged with no sign ofcholangitis or any other symptoms. The novel surgical management via wide resection of the cyst wall and closure of biliary communication proved to be an adequate and effective procedure for treating nonparasitic hepatic cysts with biliary communication.展开更多

The paper explores the impact of the characteristics of political institutions at every stage in the development of social economy, which determines the objects using accounting information, as well as the legal accounting system issued so that accounting can meet the demand for accounting information of these objects in Vietnam from 1975 to the present. Based on studies by authors in this period as well as issued accounting documents system, this paper aims to point out the formation and development process of Vietnam accounting system, providing researchers and elaborating agencies with a basis for determining the right development direction of Vietnam accounting in the coming time.展开更多

In fact, assessment is an integral part of the learning process; it can be learning experience in itself. Active assessment strategies help students better understand the content they learn and develop skills that will be useful to them throughout their lives. Some of those skills are the ability to prepare effective oral and written reports and the ability to cooperate successfully with peers. Action research represents the process of systematic inquiry and it helps teachers to assess learning from the perspective of what they do in the classroom. The purpose is to find out "why" or "how" something happened the way it did. Therefore, a situation or problem should be carefully examined by a teacher. Teachers should analyze their own beliefs, values, and assumptions about teaching and learning, knowledge and curriculum, and how these impact the way they interact with students. Feedback should be used as part of assessment activities. Learning experience of students facilitated by teachers can be assessed through feedback.展开更多

We herein discuss technical and diagnostic difficulties and review the literatures.展开更多

Oral or nasal route for tracheal intubation can interfere with surgical procedures. This report describes submental tracheal intubation for airway management in a patient who underwent resection of recurrent giant pituitary tumor via transmaxillary approach. Submental tracheal intubation is an adaptable and safe alternative technology for airway management during operation.展开更多

A 60-year-old Caucasian male with a history of RLQ abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and anorexia from 15 days ago referred to surgery ward. Ultrasound showed a hypoachoic lesion with diameters 50 mm x 70 mm in RLQ of abdomen and a round echogenic area in right lobe of liver with diameter 15 mm. The findings were revealed an abscess located in right lilac fossa then local drainage of abscess was performed. Four days later the patient was re-admitted because of severe abdominal distention and lack of bowel movement. Laparoscopy was performed before proceeding with further examinations, due to the poor general condition of the patient. The sigmoid was adherent into the abdominal wall and mild intestinal loop distention and apple-core view was observed during operation. Can- cer of sigmoid complicated by a right lilac fossa abscess was diagnosed and Hartman colestomy was undertaken. At the last follow-up examination 3 months after operation, the patient was in good health with no clinical evidence of recurrence.展开更多
