Methods Based on the line integral, the WVH transform was derived by combining the Wigner Ville distribution (WVD) and the Hough transform (HT) together. The new transform was then verified with computer by the simulated SAR echoes. Results and Conclusion The correctness and the validity of the WVH transform were proved by the computer simulation. Compared with the conventional WVD HT method, the new approach based on the WVHT can simplify the processing procedure, it can translate the chirp echoes of multi targets of SAR from the time domain into the parameter space directly, while suppressing the cross terms of WVD and estimating the motion coefficients for the final imaging. It is obvious that the WVH transform can be also used in other cases for the chirp signal detection.展开更多

Many algorithms have been proposed. The rank one phase estimation (ROPE) algorithm is a good estimator for phase error widely used in SAR. The ROPE algorithm is used in ISAR phase compensation and the concrete implementation steps are presented. Subsequently, the performance of ROPE is analyzed. For ISAR data that fit the ROPE algorithm model, an excellent compensation effect can be obtained with high computation efficiency. Finally, ISAR real data are processed with ROPE and its imaging result is compared with that obtained by the modified Doppler centroid tracking (MDCT) method, which is a robust and good estimator in ISAR phase compensation.展开更多

Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) is performed in the second, fourth, eighth, and sixteenth weeks after the stroke. Images are analyzed using the professional software SPM5 to obtain the bilateral activation of the motor cortex in left and right handgrip tests. MCN data are extracted from the active areas, and the structural and functional characteristic parameters are computed to indicate the connectivity of the network. Results show that the ipsilesional hemisphere recruits more areas with less active extent during the handgrip test, compared with the contralesional hemisphere. MCN shows a higher overall degree of statistical independence and more statistical dependence among motor areas with the gradual recovery. It can help physicians understand the recovery mechanism.展开更多

Severe artifacts interfere with the focus location. Because the genetic algorithm (GA) has characteristics of parallel, random and adaptive stochastic searching, a correction method of motion artifacts is presented based on the algorithm. The method can correct the phase error in K-space signals step by step. Experiments show that the motion artifacts in MRI can be effectively suppressed by using the method.展开更多

The mathematical model of the tooth surface of spiral bevel gear is presented. A direct interpolation algorithm of spiral bevel gear NC machining is proposed, thus establishing the relationship between the motion of the cutter-head center and the rotation of the work gear. The interpolation algorithm is implemented to control the gear cutting on self-developed spiral bevel gear NC cutting machine. After several iterations, the maximum likelihood estimation and compensation of the TPC of the target can be realized more effectively. The processing results of live data show that the proposed method can improve the imaging quality of ISAR significantly.展开更多

Different exercise training modalities and strategies exist. Two common exercise strategies are high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and moderate-intensity continuous exercise training (MCT). HIIT was first used early in the 20th century and popularized later that century for improving performance of Olympic athletes. The primary premise underlying HIIT is that, compared to energy expenditure-matched MCT, a greater amount of work is performed at a higher intensity during a single exercise session which is achieved by alternating high-intensity exercise intervals with low-intensity exercise or rest intervals. Emerging research suggests that this same training method can provide beneficial effects for patients with a chronic disease and should be included in the comprehensive medical management plan. Accordingly, a major consideration in developing an individual exercise prescription for a patient with a chronic disease is the selection of an appropriate exercise strategy. In order to maximize exercise training benefits, this strategy should be tailored to the individual's need. The focus of this paper is to provide a brief summary of the current literature re^ardin~ the use of HIIT to enhance the fimctional capacity of individuals with cardiovascular, pulmonary, and diabetes diseases.展开更多

Physiological adaptations in response to acute and chronic exposure to hypoxic environments are well documented and range from short-term detrimental effects to longer-term adaptations that can improve performance at altitude and in sea-level competitions. Many altitude and hypoxic training protocols have been developed, employing various combinations of living and training at sea-level, low, moderate, and high altitudes and utilizing natural and artificial altitudes, with varying degrees of effectiveness. Several factors have been identified that are associated with individual responses to hypoxic training, and techniques for identifying those athletes most likely to benefit from hypoxic trairdng continue to be investigated. Exposure to sufficiently high altitude (2000-3000 m) for more than 12 h/day, while training at lower altitudes, for a minimum of 21 days is recommended. Timing of altitude training related to competition remains under debate, although general recommendations can be considered.展开更多

But in real situations, the flight cannot be kept in a uniform rectilinear motion due to many factors. Therefore, the motion compensation is needed to achieve the high-resolution image. This paper proposes an improved motion information sensor (MIS)-based on global navigation statellite system (GNSS) and strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) for SAR motion compensation. MIS can provide the long-term absolute accuracy, and the short-term high relative accuracy during SAR imaging. Many issues related to MIS, such as system design, error models and navigation algorithms, are stressed. Experimental results show that MIS can provide accurate navigation information (position, velocity and attitude) to meet the requirements of SAR motion compensation. Especially, MIS is suitable for the case: the accuracy of airplane master inertial navigation system is too low or not configured.展开更多
