目的:本研究旨在观察气息调整结合特定性运动训练对青少年特发性脊柱侧弯患者(Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis, AIS)的疗效,并探讨该治疗方法在改善脊柱侧弯的角度,延缓侧弯进程,提高生活质量中的作用。方法:本研究将60名脊柱侧弯患... 目的:本研究旨在观察气息调整结合特定性运动训练对青少年特发性脊柱侧弯患者(Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis, AIS)的疗效,并探讨该治疗方法在改善脊柱侧弯的角度,延缓侧弯进程,提高生活质量中的作用。方法:本研究将60名脊柱侧弯患者随机分为干预组和对照组。干预组接受气息调整训练结合常规康复治疗方法,对照组仅接受常规康复治疗。训练前后对Cobb角度轴向躯干旋转角(Axial Trunk Rotation, ATR)、中文版脊柱侧凸研究学会患者22项问卷(Chinese Scoliosis Research Society Patient Questionnaire-22, SRS-22)进行评估。结果:干预组患者治疗前后Cobb角(1.61 ± 0.85比1.12 ± 0.62,t = 2.553,p = 0.013)、ATR (3.93 ± 1.91比2.5 ± 1.42,t = −1.003,p = 0.02)的改善情况显著优于对照组(p Purpose: This study aims to observe the effect of breath adjustment combined with specific exercise training on patients with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis (AIS), and to investigate the role of this treatment in improving the angle of scoliosis, slowing down the progression of the scoliosis, and improving the quality of life. Methods: In this study, 60 patients with scoliosis were randomly divided into intervention group and control group. The intervention group received breath adjustment training combined with conventional rehabilitation treatment, while the control group only received conventional rehabilitation treatment. Cobb angle axial trunk rotation (ATR) and Chinese Scoliosis Research Society Patient Questionnaire-22 (SRS-22) were evaluated before and after training. Results: The improvement of Cobb angle (1.61 ± 0.85 vs. 1.12 ± 0.62, t = 2.553, p = 0.013) and ATR (3.93 ± 1.91 vs. 2.5 ± 1.42, t = −1.003, p = 0.02) in the intervention group before and after treatment was significantly better than the control group (p < 0.05). However, there was no significant difference in the improvement of SRS-22 scores between the intervention group and the control group before and after treatment. Conclusion: Compared with single scoliosis-specific training, breath adjustment combined with specific exercise training in scoliosis rehabilitation treatment can better improve the scoliosis condition of AIS patients. 展开更多

Feature points are firstly extracted by the improved minimum intensity change (MIC) algorithm. The matching points of these feature points are then determined by adaptive rood pattern searching. Based on the random sample consensus (RANSAC) method, the background motion is finally compensated by the parameters of an affine transform of the background motion. With reasonable morphological filtering, the moving objects are completely extracted from the background, and then tracked accurately. Experimental results show that the improved method is successful on the motion background compensation and offers great promise in tracking moving objects of the dynamic image sequence. 展开更多

In this model, from the wave records the average of two neighboring wave periods for the extreme crest or trough was defined as the period of the Stokes wave by the up and down zero-crossing methods. Then the input wave amplitude was deduced by substituting the wave period and extreme crest or trough into the expression for the fifth-order Stokes wave elevation. Thus the corresponding formula for the wave velocity can be used to describe kinematics beneath the extreme wave. By comparison with the published numerical models and experimental data, the proposed model is validated to be able to calculate the extreme wave velocity rather easily and accurately. 展开更多

This hierarchical model summarizes the action contents with different spatio-temporal domains according to the properties of human body movement.First,the temporal gradient combined with the constraint of coherent motion pattern is utilized to extract stable and dense motion features that are viewed as point features,then the mean-shift clustering algorithm with the adaptive scale kernel is used to label these features.After pooling the features with the same label to generate part-based representation,the visual word responses within one large scale volume are collected as video object representation.On the benchmark KTH(Kungliga Tekniska H?gskolan)and UCF (University of Central Florida)-sports action datasets,the experimental results show that the proposed method enhances the representative and discriminative power of action features, and improves recognition rates.Compared with other related literature,the proposed method obtains superior performance. 展开更多

In order to study the relationship between pavement friction management criteria and braking distance requirements of road geometric design, an approach for determining the braking distance considering pavement frictional properties is proposed. A finite element model (FEM) of a rolling tire under steady state is established based on theoretical hydrodynamics and mechanics principles, in which factors, including tire type, water film thickness, pavement surface properties, and vehicle speed, are considered. With the FEM, braking distances under different operating conditions are calculated. Furthermore, the allowable water film thickness is determined by comparing braking distances calculated with friction management criteria and that required by road geometric design. The results show that the braking distance is affected by the above operating conditions. As a result, it is necessary to maintain consistency between geometric design braking distance requirements and pavement friction management to achieve safe road operations. 展开更多

Efficacy and Safety of a Continuous Wound Catheter in Open Abdominal Partial Hepatectomy

Objective To investigate the efficacy and safety of continuous local anesthetic wound infiltration following open abdominal partial hepatectomy. Methods We performed a prospective, non-randomized, concurrent and controlled study. Patients undergoing open abdominal partial hepatectomy, according to their willingness, accepted one of the following managements for the postoperative pain: continuous wound catheter (CWC) infiltration, patient-controlled epidural analgesia (PCEA), patient-controlled intravenous analgesia of morphine (PCIAM), and patient-controlled intravenous analgesia of sufentanil (PCIAS). The primary outcome was postoperative visual analogue scale (VAS) scores at rest and on movement. Secondary outcomes included consumption of rescue medication, side effects, and complications associated with postoperative pain management. Results From August 2013 to December 2013, 80 patients were allocated to receive CWC (n=10), PCEA (n=22), PCIAM (n=29), or PCIAS (n=19). After adjusting for age, sex, body mass index, percentage of resected liver, operation time, and Amsterdam Preoperative Anxiety and Information Scale, there was no significant difference in the VAS scores at rest or on movement between Group CWC and the other groups, namely PCEA, PCIAM, and PCIAS, at 4, 12, 48, and 72 hours postoperatively (all P〉0.05). The need for rescue medication was not significantly different between Group CWC and the other three groups at 48 and 72 hours postoperatively (all P〉0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of postoperative nausea and vomiting or anal exsufflation time between group CWC and the other three groups (all P〉0.05). No severe adverse effects associated with continuous wound infiltration were observed during the study period. Conclusions CWC has a comparable analgesic effect compared with traditional analgesia methods at most time points postoperatively. CWC is a safe alternative for the postoperative analgesic management of open liver surgery. 展开更多

Based on feature analysis of testing signals, it points out that the peak of the first pulse and interval of two peak pulses are valid features which can reflect the motion characteristic of target. A method to calculate the moving speed of target is put forward. The calculating results indicate that the proposed method has enough accuracy and is feasible to determine the parameters of the moving target using for passive millimeter wave system. 展开更多

A narrative review of studies was conducted to evaluate the role of two types of exercise interventions on children's cognition. Acute and chronic exercise interventions were classified as quantitative or qualitative on the basis of manipulations of task complexity and, by inference, mental engagement. Both types of interventions enhance aspects of children's cognition; however, their effects on metacognitive processes are unknown. The ideal motion characteristics for the vibrating screen was presented according to the principle of screening process with constant bed thickness.A new vibrating screen with variable elliptical trace was proposed.An accurate mechanical model was constructed according to the required structural motion features.Applying multi-degree-of-freedom vibration theory,characteristics of the vibrating screen was analyzed.Kinematics parameters of the vibrating screen which motion traces were linear,circular or elliptical were obtained.The stable solutions of the dynamic equations gave the motions of the vibrating screen by means of computer simulations.Technological parameters,including amplitude,movement velocity and throwing index,of five specific points along the screen surface were gained by theoretical calculation.The results show that the traces of the new designed vibrating screen follow the ideal screening motion.The screening efficiency and processing capacity may thus be effectively improved. 展开更多

To find out the detailed characteristics of the coherent structures and associated particle dispersion in free shear flow, large eddy simulation method was adopted to investigate a two-dimensional particleladen wake flow. The well-known Sub-grid Scale mode introduced by Smagorinsky was employed to simulate the gas flow field and Lagrangian approach was used to trace the particles. The results showed that the typical large-scale vortex structures exhibit a stable counter rotating arrangement of opposite sign, and alternately form from the near wall region, shed and move towards the downstream positions of the wake with the development of the flow. For particle dispersion, the Stokes number of particles is a key parameter. At the Stokes numbers of 1.4 and 3.8 the particles concentrate highly in the outer boundary regions. While the particles congregate densely in the vortex core regions at the Stokes number of 0. 15, and the particles at Stokes number of 15 assemble in the vortex braid regions and the rib regions between the adjoining vortex structures. 展开更多

During screening operation, blinding or clogging of screen perforations generally occurs to reduce the sieving capacity and efficiency. Recently, the flip-flow screening has been widely recognized as a feasible method to deal with the problem. In this paper, a novel centralized-driving flip-flow screen(CFS) was developed for the separation of fine and moist coal, and the key structures, namely, a centralized-driving mechanism and a quasi-circle beam mounted with the mat were designed for high reliability and stability. By means of a test on an experimental prototype, the effect of some factors, i.e., initial stretch and hardness of the polyurethane panel, respectively, and the rotation speed of the driving motor on the kinematic characteristic of the screen surface was investigated. Results show that without an initial stretch, the sieve mat generates the largest vibratory amplitude while the slacker the sieve mat initially is, the smaller amplitude it will accomplish. And an increase in the rotation speed could cause a rise in the vibratory amplitude. Unlike the two factors, the hardness does not have a definite effect on the kinematic performance, on which a further study is required. Finally, screening processing on a laboratory prototype was conducted to draw the conclusion that the developed CFS also has a high sieving efficiency for the fine and moist coal. 展开更多
