It is shown that the first ...This study documents the first two principal modes of interannual variability of midsummer precipitation over Northeast China (NEC) and their associated atmospheric circulation anomalies. It is shown that the first principal mode exhibits the largest amount of variability in precipitation over the south of NEC (referred to as the south mode), whereas the second principal mode behaves with the greatest precipitation anomaly over the north of NEC (referred to as the north mode). Further findings reveal that, through modulating moisture transportation and upper- and lower-troposphere divergence circulation as well as vertical movement over NEC, the anomalous northwestern Pacific anticyclone and the anticyclone centered over northern NEC exert the dominant influence on the south and north modes, respectively. Additionally, it is quantitatively estimated that water vapor across the southern boundary of NEC dominates the moisture budget for the south mode, while the north mode has a close connection with moisture through NEC's northern and western boundal'ies. Furthermore, the north (south) mode is strongly related to the intensity (meridional shift) of the East Asian westerly jet.展开更多
Regarding the growth of global energy consumption and the paucity of light crude oil, extracting and using heavy and extra heavy crude oil has received much more attention, but the application of this kind of oil is c...Regarding the growth of global energy consumption and the paucity of light crude oil, extracting and using heavy and extra heavy crude oil has received much more attention, but the application of this kind of oil is complicated due to its very high molecular weight. High viscosity and low flowability complicate the transportation of heavy and extra heavy crude oil. Accordingly, it is essential to reduce the viscosity of heavy and extra heavy crude oil through in-situ operations or immediate actions after extraction to reduce costs. Numerical simulations are influential methods, because they reduce calculation time and costs. In this study, the cracking of extra heavy crude oil using computational fluid dynamics is simulated, and a unique kinetic model is proposed based on experimental procedures to predict the behavior of extra heavy crude oil cracking reaction. Moreover, the hydrodynamics and heat transfer of the system and influence of nanocatalysts and temperature on the upgrading of crude oil are studied. The geometry of a reactor is produced using commercial software, and some experiments are performed to examine the validity and accuracy of the numerical results. The findings reveal that there is a good agreement between the numerical and experimental results. Furthermore, to investigate the main factors affecting the process, sensitivity analysis is adopted. Results show that type of catalyst and concentration of catalyst are the parameters that influence the viscosity reduction of extra heavy crude oil the most. The findings further revealed that when using a 25 nm SiO_2 nanocatalyst, a maximum viscosity reduction of 98.67% is observed at 623 K. Also, a catalyst concentration of 2.28 wt% is best for upgrading extra heavy crude oil. The results obtained through sensitivity analysis, simulation model, and experiments represent effectual information for the design and development of high performance upgrading processes for energy applications.展开更多

This ...Background: Prevalence of eating disorders (EDs) among college-aged athletes has risen in recent years. Although measures exist for assessing EDs, these measures have not been thoroughly reviewed in athletes. This study reviewed the validity and reliability evidence of the commonly used measures for assessing EDs in athlete populations aged 18--26 years. Methods: Databases were searched for studies of regarding ED on male and/or female athletes. Inclusion criteria stated the study (a) assessed EDs in an athlete population 18--26 years of age and (b) investigated EDs using a psychometric measure found valid and/or reliable in a non- athlete population and/or athlete population. Results: Fifty studies met the inclusion criteria. Seven and 22 articles, respectively, studied EDs behaviors in male and female athletes whereas 21 articles studied EDs in combined-gender samples. The five most commonly used measures were the Eating Attitudes Test (EAT), Eating Disorder Inventory (EDI), Bulimia Test-Revised (BULIT-R), Questionnaire for Eating Disorder Diagnosis (QEDD), and the Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire (EDE-Q). Conclusion: Only seven studies calculated validity coefficients within the study whereas 47 cited the validity coefficient. Twenty-six calculated a reliability coefficient whereas 47 cited the reliability of the ED measures. Four studies found validity evidence for the EAT, EDI, BULIT-R, QEDD, and EDE-Q in an athlete population. Few studies reviewed calculated validity and reliability coefficients of ED measures. Therefore, the research that how to establish the system matching our National City Community Service Network is the urgent issue to be settled down for the construction of the city community athletic service network. The construction of the city community athletic service network in Jiangsu provides a good way for the citizens to promote the level and quality of their lives with the help of the sports. Methods: Based on the literal data method, this paper studies the present city community athletic service network and the main factors which affect the construction of athletic service network and related problems by the following methods i.e. questionnaire survey, interview and observable methods and mathematical statistics method etc. Results: 1 .The main factors which affect citizens who join sports include shortage of athletic stations,, narrowly publicizing science knowledge of keeping healthy, the bad athletic circumstances and shortage of professional instructions. 2. Construction of Jiangsu urban community fitness service network mainly include: physical activity guidance; create a personal exercise files; the body after exercise monitoring; exercise prescription; knowledge of health promotion; post-exercise nutrition deployment; rehabilitation medical. 3.Governments play a leading role in Jiangsu city community service network. Conclusion: Physical fitness of urban community service organization management network should be based on City Community Service Center as the main sports, fitness, form a District Sports Council, the Community Sports Association, the neighborhood offices co-ordination between the management system. Community Sports College should become an important support network of health services, power, give full play to advantages of college sports professionals to enhance the community service network all aspects of sports, fitness, the construction and management.展开更多
