The chip is designed to provide standard framing and mapping of 10/100/1000Mbit/s Ethernet, Resilient Packet Ring (RPR) and E1 traffics into protected Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) STM-1 transport payloads using hitless rate adaptation for optimum bandwidth utilization. It consumes 4W of power on average and utilizes 756 pin enhanced BGA package.展开更多

This includes the analysis of site characteristics, the existing mobility demand, accessibility, area needs, current environmental impact, operational, financial and organisational constraints; designing of the service and definition of the supporting organisational measures required. Examples of realised services in Alpine areas in Austria confirm the effects on people's daily mobility and all its consequences towards society and environment. Main effects are the decrease of public funding needs and ensuring a basic transport supply even in rural areas. Additionally, there is a strong component of social inclusion in this service, increasing the quality of life capable to contribute to the deceleration of the out migration. As secondary effects, economic effects and environmental effects can be observed. The potential of these services are not fully utilised today and can be achieved through further extensions of service area as well as technical developments.展开更多

Since the EWTC is a corridor requiring transport mode interchanges due to crossing the Baltic Sea, development of intermodal transport solutions making different transport modes fully integrated along the corridor is a key issue for the EWTC. To meet an increased global transport demand, ports and intermodal terminals need to make sure that their facilities are prepared for growth. Thus, for ports in the EWTC it is important to offer the services necessary for handling the maritime freight services (container ships, RoRo ships, railway ferries) demanded by transporters and transport buyers. IT services are needed to support transportation activities along the corridor. This is especially important for the EWTC due to its physical nature, interchange points, multi-language and cross boarder interaction. Information on a constantly updated traffic situation and interchange status, tracking of goods, booking and confirmation services, intelligent truck parking and services opening faster border crossing routes would ensure more efficient transportation and handling thereofi It is expected that the outcomes of the recently completed eMAR project will help to develop a modem Klaipeda Seaport community system as well as effective management architecture along the EWTC based on the CSW (Corridor Single Window) approach.展开更多

SECs need logistics service providers who offer consolidated services for project optimization and fulfillment of local content requirements of the project. Relevant Staffof7 SECs and 10 logistics service providers in Ghana formed part of the target group. The weighted scoring model was used in selecting a logistics service provider based on certain criteria. The selection criteria included Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental (QHSE) policies [Q], Compliance to regulations (GRA, Work permit, petroleum regulation) [C], Delivery of goods on time and response rate to deliver [D], Vessel, Cargo attendance and transportation (sea freight and air freight) [V], and Logistics (Personal logistics and Logistics base facilities) [L]. The study concluded Consolidated Shipping Agency (Conship) was the best Logistics Service Provider to offer the best consolidated services for project optimization under the TEN project.展开更多
