In this research we pr...Behavior-based flocking has got remarkable attention in the recent past. The flocking algorithms can have inherent properties like organizing,healing and re-configuring for a distributed system. In this research we presented the emergent flocking behavior-based control. We defined the basis behavior and with variety of combination, and obtained a complex group behavior flocking. Unlike classical flocking, we implemented additional rules obstacle avoidance,formation and seek target which results in V-formation flocking while avoiding obstacles. We performed the visual simulation of our flocking algorithm using MATLAB. The results concluded that the multi-boid flock could successfully navigate to the target while avoiding collisions. This can be applied to areas where we need to maximize the coverage of sensors or minimize the risk of combative attack,both in military and civilian scenarios.展开更多

The discovery is based on use of the mobile closed mechanical contour for force transfer from the mechanism input link to an output link, According to discovery the motion transfer can be carried out by Assur structural group in the form of the mobile closed contour, and the output link is the link with one degree of freedom. The received mechanical system includes an input link, an output link and the closed contour placed between them as fourth class Assur structural group. The kinematic chain has two degrees of freedom. However the closed contour imposes an additional constraint on relative motion of its links. The carried out discovery allows providing the variable transfer ratio only due to the variable external load. Mechanical properties of the closed contour allow providing the required transfer ratio independently, smart and automatically.展开更多

Based on the survey data, the whole-day reaching time distribution at transfer points of...Coordinated scheduling of multimode plays a pivotal role in the rapid gathering and dissipating of passengers in transport hubs. Based on the survey data, the whole-day reaching time distribution at transfer points of passengers from the dominant mode to the connecting mode was achieved. A GI/M K/1 bulk service queuing system was constituted by putting the passengers' reaching time distribution as the input and the connecting mode as the service institution. Through queuing theory, the relationship between average queuing length under steady-state and headway of the connecting mode was achieved. By putting the minimum total cost of system as optimization objective, the headway as decision variable, a coordinated scheduling model of multimode in intermodal transit hubs was established. At last, a dynamic scheduling strategy was generated to cope with the unexpected changes of the dominant mode. The instance analysis indicates that this model can significantly reduce passengers' queuing time by approximately 17% with no apparently increase in departure frequency, which provides a useful solution for the coordinated scheduling of different transport modes in hubs.展开更多

By adding an adaptive perturbation to any agent's movement direction, a novel control strategy is proposed. It is shown that the proposed novel control law can not only guarantee the global asymptotical stability of the desired formation shape, but also ensure the collision avoidance of agents between each other.
