Some sociologists of the 20th century--Popper, Nisbet, Tilly, Wallerstein--doubted the applicability of the concept "evolution" to the process of social changes. It was stated that processes happening in a society cannot be described using the approach of strict causality. However, dignifying life of the mankind is doubtful without elaborated scheme of social evolution and universal guiding line for the control over the further aociety evolution. General logica of social evolution can be traced by the change of human position in a society. Describing this change with the help of the activity-value approach one can construct ideal types of such evolutionary stages as wilderness, barbarism, civilization. The study of features and properties of ideal types of social evolution stages shows the regularity of two natural civilizations appearance: home-service civilization and market one. Countries of home-service civilization are ancient Egypt, China, and Russia (since Moscow Kingdom arose). Athens, Novgorod Republic and Western countries are examples of the market civilization. The study of the market civilization properties shows that its long existence is doubtful. Authors propose an ideal type of spirit-game civilization as a long-term guiding line for the controlled social evolution. Control over evolution could save mankind and solve their main problems. 展开更多

Injection molding machine,hydraulic elevator,speed actuators belong to variable speed pump control cylinder system.Because variable speed pump control cylinder system is a nonlinear hydraulic system,it has some problems such as response lag and poor steady-state accuracy.To solve these problems,for the hydraulic cylinder of injection molding machine driven by the servo motor,a fractional order proportion-integration-diferentiation(FOPID)control strategy is proposed to realize the speed tracking control.Combined with the adaptive differential evolution algorithm,FOPID control strategy is used to determine the parameters of controller on line based on the test on the servo-motor-driven gear-pump-controlled hydraulic cylinder injection molding machine.Then the slef-adaptive differential evolution fractional order PID controller(SADE-FOPID)model of variable speed pump-controlled hydraulic cylinder is established in the test system with simulated loading.The simulation results show that compared with the classical PID control,the FOPID has better steady-state accuracy and fast response when the control parameters are optimized by the adaptive differential evolution algorithm.Experimental results show that SADE-FOPID control strategy is effective and feasible,and has good anti-load disturbance performance. 展开更多

This paper considers the adaptive tracking problem for a class of first-order systems with binary-valued observations generated via fixed thresholds. A recursive projection algorithm is proposed for parameter estimation based on the statistical properties of the system noise. Then, an adaptive control law is designed via the certainty equivalence principle. By use of the conditional expectations of the innovation and output prediction with respect to the estimates, the closed-loop system is shown to be stable and asymptotically optimal. Meanwhile, the parameter estimate is proved to be both almost surely and mean square convergent, and the convergence rate of the estimation error is also obtained. A numerical example is given to demonstrate the efficiency of the adaptive control law. 展开更多

We derive optimal order a posteriori error estimates and a posteriori nodal superconvergence error estimates using the energy approach and the duality argument. With the help of the a posteriori error estimator developed in this work, we will further propose an adaptive time stepping strategy. A number of numerical experiments are performed to illustrate the reliability and efficiency of the a posteriori error estimates and to assess the effectiveness of the proposed adaptive time stepping method. 展开更多

The idea behind of the scheme is a binary key generated randomly for each pix... In this paper, a new quantum images encoding scheme is proposed. The proposed scheme mainly consists of four different encoding algorithms. The idea behind of the scheme is a binary key generated randomly for each pixel of the original image. Afterwards, the employed encoding algorithm is selected corresponding to the qubit pair of the generated randomized binary key. The security analysis of the proposed scheme proved its enhancement through both randomization of the generated binary image key and altering the gray-scale value of the image pixels using the qubits of randomized binary key. The simulation of the proposed scheme assures that the final encoded image could not be recognized visually. Moreover, the histogram diagram of encoded image is flatter than the originM one. The Shannon entropies of the final encoded images are significantly higher than the original one, which indicates that the attacker can not gain any information about the encoded images. 展开更多

This paper relates to the post-Newtonian Hamiltonian dynamics of spinning compact binaries, consisting of the Newtonian Kepler problem and the leading, next-to-leading and next-to-next-to-leading order spin-orbit couplings as linear functions of spins and momenta. When this Hamiltonian form is transformed to a Lagrangian form, besides the terms corresponding to the same order terms in the Hamiltonian, several additional terms, third post-Newtonian(3 PN),4 PN, 5 PN, 6 PN and 7 PN order spin-spin coupling terms, yield in the Lagrangian. That means that the Hamiltonian is nonequivalent to the Lagrangian at the same PN order but is exactly equivalent to the full Lagrangian without any truncations. The full Lagrangian without the spin-spin couplings truncated is integrable and regular. Whereas it is non-integrable and becomes possibly chaotic when any one of the spin-spin terms is dropped.
