In this paper, the causal conjunctions “because”, “so”, “therefore”, “then”, “since” and “because” are selected as the research objects, and combined with specific corpus, it is analyzed whether they can appear at the head of the second turn when the speaker and the listener put forward the reasons and results respectively in conversational context, so as to connect the reasons and results of separation, that is, whether they can directly connect the previous and subsequent turns. Through research, it is concluded that “because”, “so”, “therefore” and “then” have the function of turn cohesion, which can directly connect the front and back turns;The turn cohesion function of “since” and “because” is conditional.展开更多
