Three major coal types of different ranks (Kiasar, Lavidj and Karmozd) were blended in various proportions to find an optimum condition in flotation circuit in Alborz Markazi coal washing plant. Flotation tests were conducted for prepared blended coal samples to assess floatability of various coal samples. In this paper, mixture design as a statistical method was used to optimize coal blend to increase recovery and grade in Zirab coal washing plant. The statistical analysis showed that the weight percent blending of different coals and interaction between Lavidj and Karmozd regions coal had significant effects on the coal recovery. The optimum condition of 95% recovery and 12% ash content could be reached with 10%, 20%, and 70% blending portion of Kiasar, Lavidj and Karmozd regions coal, respectively.展开更多
The effect of uncertainty about stochastic diffusion model on dynamic portfolio choice of an investor who maximizes utility of terminal portfolio wealth was studied.It applied stochastic control method to obtain the c...The effect of uncertainty about stochastic diffusion model on dynamic portfolio choice of an investor who maximizes utility of terminal portfolio wealth was studied.It applied stochastic control method to obtain the closed-form solution of optimal dynamic portfolio,and used the Bayesian rule to estimate the model parameters to do an empirical study on two different samples of Shanghai Exchange Composite Index.Results show,model uncertainty results in positive or negative hedging demand of portfolio,which depends on investor's attitude toward risk;the effect of model uncertainty is more significant with the increasing of investment horizon,the decreasing of investor's risk-aversion degree,and the decreasing of information;predictability of risky asset return increases its allocation in portfolio,at the same time,the effect of model uncertainty also strengthens.展开更多

This often leads to the underreportingof variability and too optimistic confidence sets. Model averaging estimation is an alternative to thisprocedure, which incorporates model uncertainty into the estimation process. In recent years, therehas been a rising interest in model averaging from the frequentist perspective, and some importantprogresses have been made. In this paper, the theory and methods on frequentist model averagingestimation are surveyed. Some future research topics are also discussed.展开更多

Clinical studies and literature on acupuncture-moxibustion for stable angina pectoris with definite acupoint selection were included through retrieving China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI),Wanfang Database and VIP in order to analyze the characteristics and rules of acupoint selection in acupuncture-moxibustion treatment for stable angina pectoris. It has been found that the acupoint selection of acupuncture-moxibustion prescriptions for stable angina pectoris focused on specific acupoints.The top 5 acupoints with the highest using frequency included Neiguan(内关PC 6),Danzhdng(膻中CV17),Xinshu(心俞BL 15),Ziusanli(足三里ST 36) and Sanyinjiao(三阴交SP 6). Acupuncture-moxibustion treatment of stable angina pectoris involved 12 meridians, mainly including the hand-jueyin pericardium meridian, the foot-taiyang bladder meridian, conception vessel, the foot-yangming stomach meridian, the foot-taiyin spleen meridian, and the hand-shaoyin heart meridian, etc., embodying the characteristics and rules of acupoint selection such as "highlighting the special treatment effect of acupoints" "selecting acupoints along the pericardium meridian, bladder meridian and conception vessel, combining the anterior and the posterior acupoints", "selecting the distal acupoints of spleen and stomach meridians, and focusing on specific acupoints", etc.展开更多

In these processes, academic researchers and business practitioners often come up against two important problems. One is whe...Various mathematical models have been commonly used in time series analysis and forecasting. In these processes, academic researchers and business practitioners often come up against two important problems. One is whether to select an appropriate modeling approach for prediction purposes or to combine these different individual approaches into a single forecast for the different/dissimilar modeling approaches. Another is whether to select the best candidate model for forecasting or to mix the various candidate models with different parameters into a new forecast for the same/similar modeling approaches. In this study, we propose a set of computational procedures to solve the above two issues via two judgmental criteria. Meanwhile, in view of the problems presented in the literature, a novel modeling technique is also proposed to overcome the drawbacks of existing combined forecasting methods. To verify the efficiency and reliability of the proposed procedure and modeling technique, the simulations and real data examples are conducted in this study.The results obtained reveal that the proposed procedure and modeling technique can be used as a feasible solution for time series forecasting with multiple candidate models.展开更多
A non-invasive diagnostic approach is crucial for the evaluation of severity of liver disease,treatment decisions,and assessing drug efficacy.This study evaluated plasma proteomic profiling via an N-terminal isotope t...A non-invasive diagnostic approach is crucial for the evaluation of severity of liver disease,treatment decisions,and assessing drug efficacy.This study evaluated plasma proteomic profiling via an N-terminal isotope tagging strategy coupled with liquid chromatography/Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry measurement to detect liver fibrosis staging.Pooled plasma from different liver fibrosis stages,which were assessed in advance by the current gold-standard of liver biopsy,was quantitatively analyzed.A total of 72 plasma proteins were found to be dysregulated during the fibrogenesis process,and this finding constituted a valuable candidate plasma biomarker bank for follow-up analysis.Validation results of fibronectin by Western blotting reconfirmed the mass-based data.Ingenuity Pathways Analysis showed four types of metabolic networks for the functional effect of liver fibrosis disease in chronic hepatitis B patients.Consequently,quantitative proteomics via the N-terminal acetyl isotope labeling technique provides an effective and useful tool for screening plasma candidate biomarkers for liver fibrosis.We quantitatively monitored the fibrogenesis process in CHB patients.We discovered many new valuable candidate biomarkers for the diagnosis of liver fibrosis and also partly identified the mechanism involved in liver fibrosis disease.These results provide a clearer understanding of liver fibrosis pathophysiology and will also hopefully lead to improvement of clinical diagnosis and treatment.展开更多

A new symmetry for an ideal ChP violation system is found and the corresponding selection rules of the electromagnetic transitions are derived. The fingerprints for the ChP violation including the nearly degenerate quartet bands and the selection rules of the electromagnetic transitions are provided. These fingerprints are examined for ChP quartet bands by taking a two-j shell h11/2 and d5/2 with typical energy spacing for A = 130 nuclei.展开更多
