This method takes shallow ...Due to the fact that semantic role labeling (SRL) is very necessary for deep natural language processing, a method based on conditional random fields (CRFs) is proposed for the SRL task. This method takes shallow syntactic parsing as the foundation, phrases or named entities as the labeled units, and the CRFs model is trained to label the predicates' semantic roles in a sentence. The key of the method is parameter estimation and feature selection for the CRFs model. The L-BFGS algorithm was employed for parameter estimation, and three category features: features based on sentence constituents, features based on predicate, and predicate-constituent features as a set of features for the model were selected. Evaluation on the datasets of CoNLL-2005 SRL shared task shows that the method can obtain better performance than the maximum entropy model, and can achieve 80. 43 % precision and 63. 55 % recall for semantic role labeling.展开更多

By using fuzzy mathematics theory, we establish a theorietical model for optimal machine tool selection considering geometric features, clamping size, machining range, machining precision and surface roughness. By means of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, the membership degree of machine tool selection and the largest comprehensive evaluation index are determined. Then the reasonably automatic selection of machine tool is realized in the generative computer aided process planning (CAPP) system. Finally, the finite element model based on ABAQUS is established and the cutting process of machine tool is simulated. According to the theoretical and empirical cutting parameters and the curve of surface residual stress, the optimal cutting parameters can be determined.展开更多

In this paper, the Tikhonov regularization method with respect to the inversion of gravity data is discussed. and the extrapolated TR method(EXTR) is introduced to improve the fitting error. Furthermore, the effect of the parameters in the EXTR method on the fitting error, number of iterations, and inversion results are discussed in details. The computation results using a synthetic model with the same and different densities indicated that. compared with the TR method, the EXTR method not only achieves the a priori fitting error level set by the interpreter but also increases the fitting precision, although it increases the computation time and number of iterations. And the EXTR inversion results are more compact than the TR inversion results, which are more divergent. The range of the inversion data is closer to the default range of the model parameters, and the model features and default model density distribution agree well.展开更多

The parameters studied are el...In the present analysis, several parameters used in a numerical simulation are investigated in an integrated study to obtain their influence on the process and results of this simulation. The parameters studied are element formulation, friction coefficient, and material model. Numerical simulations using the non-linear finite element method are conducted to produce virtual experimental data for several collision scenarios. Pattern and size damages caused by collision in a real accident case are assumed as real experimental data, and these are used to validate the method. The element model study performed indicates that the Belytschko-Tsay element formulation should be recommended for use in virtual experiments. It is recommended that the real value of the friction coefficient for materials involved is applied in simulations. For the study of the material model, the application of materials with high yield strength is recommended for use in the side hull structure.展开更多

The effects of the major parameters on CFM were systematically investigated based on some benchmark functions. The constriction factor, velocity constraint, and population size all have significant impact on the per- formance of CFM for PSO. The constriction factor and velocity constraint have optimal values in practical application, and im- proper choice of these factors will lead to bad results. Increasing population size can improve the solution quality, although the computing time will be longer. In this paper, we propose an algorithm for extracting pockets from structure data of proteins and analyze the quality of the algorithm by comparing the extracted pockets with some known pockets. According to the study in a larch plantation, collars should be inserted at 12 hours in advance to efficiently reduce the influence of CO2 spring-out.Moreover, collar insertion depth substantially affected soil respiration measurement, i.e. when collar was shallowly inserted into soil,transversal gas diffusion and the CO2 re-spring-out caused by unstable collars in the measurement could lead to overestimating soil respiration rate; however, when collar was deeply inserted into soil, root respiration decline caused by root-cut and the most active respiratory of the surface soil separated by the inserted collars could lead to underestimating soil respiration rate. Furthermore, an error less than 5% could be guaranteed in typical sunny day if the target [CO2] was set to the mean value of ambient [CO2] in most time of the day, but it should be carefully set in early morning and late afternoon according to changing ambient [CO2].
