[Method] The effect of cell culture time,conversion time,conversion pH value,conversion initial sugar concentration,speed and inoculation rate were determined respectively.[Result] Optimum fermentation conditions were obtained as follows:cell culture 16 h,conversion time 10 h,conversion pH value 5.5,conversion initial sugar concentration 20 g/L,conversion shaking speed 150 r/min,inoculation rate 10% (volume ratio). The yield of xylitol has increased to 90%. [Conclusion] This study had provided basis for the further study on xylitol.展开更多

In this paper, an improved Semi-orthogonal User Selection algorithm based on condition number is proposed. Besides, a new MIMO pre- coding scheme is designed. The proposed SUS- CN (SUS with condition number) algorithm outperforms the SUS algorithm for the selection of users with better matrix inversion property, thus a higher information rate for selected user pair is achieved. The designed MIMO precoding matrix brings benefits of the power equality at transmitted terminals, the limited dynamic range of the power over time, and a better power efficiency. The simulation results give the key insights into the im- pact of the different condition number value and users on the sum-rate capacity.展开更多

To find the type of ripper shank we have done a research program with 7 dif...The new sustainable tillage system needs new machines which are the combination of well accepted disc harrow and cultivator or chisel/ripper. To find the type of ripper shank we have done a research program with 7 different shape and size tools. The geometrical parameters were determined in laboratory, the performance (loosening effect, depth etc) and draft requirements were measured on loamy soil stubble field (the speed range: 2.5-7.5 krrdh). Developing a combined evaluation system-based on performance and draft data-to select the most favorable shank type for our condition was found one which has the following features: the size of the point: rake angle = 25°, length = 240 mm, width = 80mm; the equation of the shank curve: y = axb, where a = 2-3.5 and b = 0.04-0.05.展开更多

It is shown how an investor may take advantage of this additional risk sourc...In this paper, a tractable solution is proposed to integrate, to a certain extent, market liquidity risk in the portfolio selection process. It is shown how an investor may take advantage of this additional risk source within the standard mean-variance optimization framework, by in certain circumstances overcoming the pitfalls of illiquidity and in others seizing a liquidity premium. Bid prices appear effective to capture liquidity risk. The efficient frontier conceived with bid prices consists of mean-variance optimal allocations that cover more liquid stocks (large caps) under stressed market conditions and less liquid stocks (small caps) under normal conditions.展开更多

This account gives an overview of our recent work in the area of conjugated azomethines derived from 2-aminothiophenes.It will be presented that mild reaction conditions can be used to selectively prepare symmetric an...This account gives an overview of our recent work in the area of conjugated azomethines derived from 2-aminothiophenes.It will be presented that mild reaction conditions can be used to selectively prepare symmetric and unsymmetric conjugated azomethines.It further will be demonstrated that azomethines consisting of various 5-membered aryl heterocycles lead to chemically,reductively,hydrolytically,and oxidatively robust compounds.The optical and electrochemical properties of these materials can be tuned contingent on the degree of conjugation,type of aryl heterocycle,and by including various electronic groups.The end result is materials having colors spanning 250 nm across the visible spectrum.These colors further can be tuned via electrochemical or chemical doping.The resulting doped states have high color contrasts from their corresponding neutral states.The collective opto-electronic properties and the means to readily tune them,make thiophenoazomethine derivatives interesting materials for potential use in a gamut of applications.展开更多
