Design and verification of an improved experimental platform for stray current in urban rail transit

With the rapid development of urban rail transit,there have been an urgent problem of excessive stray current.Because the stray current distribution is random and difficult to verify in the field,we designed an improved stray current experimental platform by replacing the simulated aqueous solution with a real soil environment and by calculating the transition resistance by measuring the soil resistivity,which makes up for the defects in the previous references.Firstly,the mathematical models of rail-drainage net and rail-drainage netground were established,and the analytical expressions of current and voltage of rail,drainage net and other structures were derived.In addition,the simulation model was built,and the mathematical analysis results were compared with the simulation results.Secondly,the accuracy of the improved stray current experimental platform was verified by comparing the measured and simulation results.Finally,based on the experimental results,the influence factors of stray current were analyzed.The relevant conclusions provide experimental data and theoretical reference for the study of stray current in urban rail transit. 展开更多

Potassium-induced bifurcations and chaos of firing patterns observed from biological experiment on a neural pacemaker 被引量:11

Changes of neural firing patterns and transitions between firing patterns induced by the introduction of external stimulation or adjustment of biological parameter have been demonstrated to play key roles in information coding.In this paper,bifurcation processes of bursting patterns were observed from an experimental neural pacemaker,through the adjustment of potassium parameter including ion concentration and calcium-dependent channel conductance.The adjustment of calcium-dependent potassium channel conductance was achieved by changing the extracellular tetraethylammonium concentration.The deterministic dynamics of chaotic bursting patterns induced by period-doubling bifurcation and intermittency,and lying between two periodic bursting patterns in a period-adding bifurcation process was investigated with a nonlinear prediction method.The bifurcations included period-doubling and period-adding bifurcations of bursting patterns.The experimental bifurcations and chaos closely matched those previously simulated in the theoretical neuronal model by adjusting potassium parameter,which demonstrated the simulation results of the theoretical model.The experimental results indicate that the potassium concentration and conductance of calcium-dependent potassium channel can induce bifurcations of the neural firing patterns.The potential role of these bifurcation structures in neural information coding mechanism is discussed. 展开更多

The construction of flexible platform possessing the functions of immobilizing, separating, rinsing, and high-throughput analysis plays a significant role in biological and clinical research. Herein, hollow- channel technique was integrated with lab-on-paper for the simultaneous determination of two different concentrations of Zn2+ based on the origami principle, in which microfiuidic channels were first patterned on a cellulose paper using commercial solid-state wax printer. Hollow-channels were created by laser cutting method as the role of both injecting ending and reaction tank. After screen printing three elec- trodes system, the resulting planar paper sheets were then folded into steric structures and functional- ized by in-situ synthesized reduced graphene oxide. As a proof-of-concept, such lab-on-paper device was employed in the ratiometric electrochemical monitoring of zinc ion from the environment and HepG2 cells extract, by combining with co-catalysis of porous metal-organic frameworks and hemin/ G-quadruplex toward H202 in the linear range of 0.1-7,000 nmol/L. The results indicated that integrating hollow-channel with steric lab-on-paper offered a new methodological approach for the development of metal ions monitoring research. It is believed that it could be useful for various point-of-care related research fields, such as, on-site environmental monitoring, food safety, and disease diagnosis. 展开更多
