A pilot pattern across two orthogonal frequency division multiplexing OFDM symbols with a special structure is designed for the channel estimation of OFDM systems with inphase and quadrature IQ imbalances at the recei...A pilot pattern across two orthogonal frequency division multiplexing OFDM symbols with a special structure is designed for the channel estimation of OFDM systems with inphase and quadrature IQ imbalances at the receiver.A high-efficiency time-domain TD least square LS channel estimator and a low-complexity frequency-domain Gaussian elimination GE equalizer are proposed to eliminate IQ distortion.The former estimator can significantly suppress channel noise by a factor N/L+1 over the existing frequency-domain FD LS where N and L+1 are the total number of subcarriers and the length of cyclic prefix and the proposed GE requires only 2N complex multiplications per OFDM symbol.Simulation results show that by exploiting the TD property of the channel the proposed TD-LS channel estimator obtains a significant signal-to-noise ratio gain over the existing FD-LS one whereas the proposed low-complexity GE compensation achieves the same bit error rate BER performance as the existing LS one.展开更多
In order to find a method which can describe the passenger flow dynamical distribution of urban mass transit during interval interrupted operation,an urban railway network topology model was built based on the travel ...In order to find a method which can describe the passenger flow dynamical distribution of urban mass transit during interval interrupted operation,an urban railway network topology model was built based on the travel path dual graph by considering interchange,crowd and congestion.The breadth first valid travel path search algorithm is proposed,and the multipath passenger flow distribution logit model is improved.According to the characteristics of passengers under the interruption condition,the distribution rules of different types of passenger flow are proposed.The method of calculating the aggregation number of station is proposed for the case of insufficient transport capacity.Finally,the passenger flow of Beijing urban mass transit is simulated for the case study.The results show that the relative error of most of transfer passenger flow is below 10%.The proposed model and algorithm can accurately assign the daily passenger flow,which provides a theoretical basis for urban mass transit emergency management and decision.展开更多

Using the different polarity response of hydrophones and geophones to downgoing wave fields, dual-sensor summation can eliminate receiver-side multiples, enhance primaries, and improve the resolution of seismic data. We present a dual-sensor summation method based on the equipoise pseudo-multichannel adaptive matching filter. Compared with traditional methods, the proposed method is totally data driven and does not depend on the reflection coefficient; moreover, good results are obtained using synthetic and real data.展开更多

The proposed WNBAE has better performance than that of the conventional lin...A novel wavelet network based adaptive equalizer (WNBAE) is presented and the structure and stochastic gradient learning algorithm is given. The proposed WNBAE has better performance than that of the conventional linear transversal equalizer based on the LMS and the RLS algorithms, as well as that of the decision feedback equalizer based on the RLS algorithm, especially for MQAM digital communication reception systems over the nonlinear channels. In addition, it outperforms the BP neural network based adaptive equalizer slightly. However, it has a slow convergence rate and a high computational complexity. Several simulations are performed to evaluate the behavior of the WNBAE.展开更多
