In this study, VCY protein was expressed in E. coli in the form of glutathione-S-transferase (GST) fusion protein. With the purified fusion protein as antigen, the anti-GST-VCY antibody was generated and the localization of VCY protein in human testis was determined by immunohistochemistry. In the testis seminiferous epithelium. VCY proteins were highly expressed in nuclei of germ cells. Using propidium iodide staining and green fluorescent protein (GFP) tag technologies, VCY and VCX-8r proteins were mainly localized in the uucleoli of COST cells. In addition, the colocalization for VCY and VCX-8r in COS7 cells was also observed. With VCY cDNA as bait, a cDNA fragment of acidic ribosomal protein PO was obtained using yeast two-hybrid system. All the information above indicates that VCX/Y protein family might be involved in the regulation of ribosome assembly (hiring spermatogenesis.展开更多

It is derived from a 3-level non differential double-boost PFC inclu...A 5-level PFC (power factor correction) topology with fault-diagnostic and fault-tolerant capability is proposed and compared to known structures. It is derived from a 3-level non differential double-boost PFC including fly-cap cells. The series-connection of the two low-voltage switching-cells is decoupled by a single flying capacitor that provides a direct fault-tolerant capability and a post-failure operation increasing the availability of converter. The monitoring of the voltages across flying capacitors allows a rapid detection and localization either for open circuit failure or short-circuits failure. A PWM (pulse width modulation) phase-disposition type reconfiguration is also used and presented in order to optimize both normal operation and post-fault continuation. The design and the most important features are highlighted thanks to a digital control frame and a mock-up rated to: AC voltage network 115 V-load 400 V-nominal power 4 kW-switching frequency 62 kHz.展开更多

The preparation of ZnO with tunable morphology and desired structure is an attract...The morphology and structure of zinc oxide(ZnO), one of the important semiconductors, are relevant to its properties and applications. The preparation of ZnO with tunable morphology and desired structure is an attractive topic in the field of material synthesis. This work reports a facile method for the synthesis of Zn O with controllable morphology and crystal orientation using Zn-based coordination polymer particles(Zn-CPP) as precursors. Using hydrothermal method, Zn-CPP with morphologies of microrod, nanoplate, flower-like, arrow-tipped microsheet, and square cylinder were successfully synthesized via the coordination between metal ions Zn2+ and organic ligand 1,4,5,8-naphthalenetetracarboxylic dianhydride in aqueous solution. Subsequent thermal treatment of the Zn-CPP successfully resulted in the formation of porous Zn O with similar morphology to Zn-CPP. It is also found that the Zn O with enhanced(002) orientation could be obtained from Zn-CPP with preferred(002) orientation. This strategy could be extended for the preparation of other metal oxides with desired shape and structure.展开更多

Both the propagation constant and the nonlinearity in the array are designed to possess a periodical modulation along the propagation dir...We propose the generation of photonic EPR state from quadratic waveguide array. Both the propagation constant and the nonlinearity in the array are designed to possess a periodical modulation along the propagation direction.This ensures that the photon pairs can be generated efficiently through the quasi-phase-matching spontaneous parametric down conversion by holding the spatial EPR entanglement in the fashion of correlated position and anticorrelated momentum. The Schmidt number which denotes the degree of EPR entanglement is calculated and it can approach a high value when the number of illuminated waveguide channels and the length of the waveguide array are properly chosen. These results suggest the quadratic waveguide array as a compact platform for engineering photonic quantum states in a high-dimensional Hilbert space.展开更多
