The lifespan was extrapolated based on this model. The results indicate that the relationship of capacity retention and cycle number can be expressed by Gaussian function. The selecting function and optimal precision were verified through actual match detection and a range of alternating current impedance testing. The cycle life model with high precision (〉99%) is beneficial to shortening the orediction time and cutting the prediction cost.展开更多

The energies of some configurations exhibit long duration before those configurations reach the final state -- ground state or frozen stripe state. For ground-state dynamical realization, the duration occurs when the energy per spin is 4/L, where L is the lattice size. For stripe-state dynamical realization, the energy is slightly higher than 2/L when the duration appears in the last evolution stage. In addition, it is found that the average energy per spin in final state is approximately 2/3L.展开更多

The FMEA team often demonstrates different opinions and these different types of opinions are very difficult to incorporate into the FMEA by the traditional risk priority number model. In this paper, for each of the Occurrence, Severity and Detectivity parameters a fuzzy set is defined and the opinion of each FMEA team members is considered. These opinions are considered simultaneously with weights that are given to each individual based on their skills and experience levels. In addition, the opinion of the costumer is considered for each of the FMEA parameters. Then, the Risk Priority Numbers (RPN) is calculated using a Multi Input Single Output (MISO) fuzzy expert system. The proposed model is applied for prioritizing the failures of Peugeot 206 Engine assembly line in IKCo (Iran Khodro Company).展开更多

The functional unit is a cup of coffee prepared from 7 g of ground coffee and 125 mL of tap water. The boundaries system considered are assembly process, electricity process, tap water process, coffee process and municipal waste process. Based on boundary system, the life cycle inventory is carbon dioxide, 50.31 g; coal, brown, 53.72 rag; coal hard, 0.9906 g; dinitrogen monoxide, 0.9575 mg; natural gas, 0.0020 m^3; methane, fossil, 13.82 mg; oil, crude, 1.012 g; uranium, 15.02 ug. The life cycle impact assessment is determined using the sum of the contributions of the impacts shown in the inventory analysis, each one multiplied by a coefficient called the "characterization factor", which indicates the scale of the potential contributed by the individual substance to the effect. The results show the advantages of using the LCA (life cycle assessment) on real time as it provides information from both quality and environmental parameters allowing taking actions based on timely information. The preparation of a cup of coffee produced an environmental load of 50.9 g of CO2 equivalents and Non Renewable energy equivalents to 151 kJ; the sugar process and materials transportation were not considered.展开更多

As an interruption really occurs, the station is instantaneously repaired and the uncompleted job is restarted again from the beginning till a job is completed without being interrupted. The total service time is shown to be NBU if and only if the total time it takes to finish each job with interruptions is stochastically larger than that without them, irrespective of when and how the breakdowns occur. As an application, a nonparametric procedure is developed to test for the strict NBU property of the service time. Finally, some numerical simulations are presented as well.展开更多
Half-sandwich zirconium complex 3 containing tridentate carborane [S,S,O] ligand 2 [(HOC6H2R2-4,6)(CH2)SC(B10H10) C(Ph)2P=S, R=tBu] was synthesized by the reaction of CpZrCl3(Cp=η5-C5H5) with sodium salt of ligand 2....Half-sandwich zirconium complex 3 containing tridentate carborane [S,S,O] ligand 2 [(HOC6H2R2-4,6)(CH2)SC(B10H10) C(Ph)2P=S, R=tBu] was synthesized by the reaction of CpZrCl3(Cp=η5-C5H5) with sodium salt of ligand 2. Zirconium complex 3 was characterized by elemental and NMR analyses. DFT calculations were also performed on complex 3 to analyze the stereochemistry. The results from DFT calculations indicate that structure S1, in which no sulfur atom bonds to the zirconium atom, exists at the lowest energy level. In the presence of methylaluminoxane(MAO), complex 3 exhibited good catalytic activities for ethylene polymerization and long life-time up to 10 h. Moreover, the complex 3/MAO system displayed excellent catalytic activities toword ethylene copolymerization with 1-hexene or polar olefins.展开更多

While the impact of probe stiffness, k, on bond rupture force has recently at- tracted more and more attention, the mechanism of how it affects the bond lifetime, however, remains unclear. Here we quanti- fied the dissociation lifetime of selectin-ligand bond using an optical trap assay with low stiffness ranging from 3.5×10^-3 to 4.7×10^-2 pN/nm. Our results indicated that bond lifetime yielded distinct distributions with different probe stiffness, implying the stochastic feature of bond dissociation. It was also found that the mean lifetime varied with probe stiffness and that the catch bond nature was visualized at k≥3.0×10^-2 pN/nm. This work furthered the understanding of the forced dissociation of se- lectin-ligand bond at varied probe stiffness, which is physiologically relevant to the tethered rolling of leukoeytes under blood flow.展开更多
