An efficient way to alleviate this problem is proper channel assignment. Current end-toend channel assignment schemes usually focus on the case where channels in distinct frequency bands are assigned to mesh access and backbone, but actually backbone network and access network can use the same IEEE 802.11 technology. Besides, these channel assignment schemes only utilize orthogonal channels to perform channel assignment, and the resulting network interference dramatically degrades network performance. Moreover, Internet-oriented traffic is considered only, and peerto-peer traffic is omitted, or vice versa. The traffic type does not match the practical network. In this paper, we explore how to exploit partially overlapped channels to perform endto-end channel assignment in order to achieve effective end-to-end flow transmissions. The proposed flow-based end-to-end channel assignment schemes can conquer the limitations aforementioned. Simulations reveal that loadaware channel assignment can be applied to networks with stable traffic load, and it can achieve near-optimal performance; Traffic-irrelevant channel assignment is suitable for networks with frequent change of traffic load, and it can achieve good balance between performance and overhead. Also, partially overlapped channels' capability of improving network performance is situation-dependent, they should be used carefully.展开更多

Reserpine-induced malabsorption mice and cyclophosphamide-induced immunosuppression mice were used in this study. OPENF powder is light yellow green and has a protein-fat-carbohydrate ratio of 16:9:75 with good solubility in water. A pilot study investigating immune functional impacts of the OPENF on mice show that the OPENF enhanced spleen lymphocyte proliferation and the activity of natural killer (NK) cells in BALB/c mice. Furthermore, OPENF can improve intestinal absorption, increase food utilization ratio, and maintain the normal physiological function of mice. These results suggest that oyster peptides could serve as a new protein source for use in enteral nutrition formula, but more importantly, also indicate that OPENF has an immunostimulating effect in mice.展开更多

We firstly propose a framework of the frequency allocation in which the whole frequency allocation process is decomposed into many consecutive stages, then identify that for each stage the key is to find the Maximum Weight Independent Set (MWIS) in a given weighted conflict graph in the distributed manner. A new distributed algorithm for MWIS is described in which each node iteratively exchanges messages with neighbors. With this distributed MWIS algorithm, a new distributed proportional fair frequency allocation scheme is presented. The performance of the proposed algorithm is tested in computer experiments simulating the Long Term Evolution (LTE) cellular systems. Simulation results show the performance of the proposed distributed proportional fair frequency allocation scheme is comparable with the centralized ones.展开更多

The formulations were developed using the central composite rotational design and having as dependent variables specific volume, hardness, crumb color and image analysis. Statistical analysis was performed using multiple regression and response surface. The results showed that the inclusion of powdered acai and polydextrose in bread formulations reduces the specific volume and alveoli number and increases the browning and hardness of the bread. However, values of this addition (30 g/100 g) were found that did not promote significant quality reduction and the scanning electron microscopy (SEM) showed minimal damage to the gluten network at this level of incorporation.展开更多

The morphological behavior and mechanical properties of BPPC were also studied. Results showed that the optimum recipe for composite materials is composed of 70% of polycaprolactone, 30% of bamboo powder according to volume, 1.6 % of aluminate coupling agent, 1.2% of stearic acid, and 2% of paraffin to bamboo powder according to mass ratio The optimum processing condition parameters were determined as the rotational speed at 50 r-min^-1 and the temperature at 100℃ for BPPC. The BPPC (containing 30 copies bamboo powder) possessed eminent interfacial compatibility and mechanical properties of BPPC.展开更多

Three types of palm diacylglycerol olein (PDAGOL) at different degree of unsaturation (PDAGOL1V56, PDAGOLIV62 and PDAGOLIV64) were used as main raw materials blended with palm stearin (PS). The blending compositions ranged from 30% to 70% of PDAGOLIV56/PS, PDAGOLIV62/PS and PDAGOLIV64/PS, respectively. The physicochemical properties of all binary blend systems were characterized for fatty acid composition (FAC), slip melting point (SMP) and solid fat content (SFC). The selected bakery shortening formulations were further characterised for polymorphic form of fat crystal and thermal behavior, using X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Bakery shortening enriched with diacylglycerol that were produced from 40DS56 (40% PDAGOLIV56/60% PS), 40DS62 (40% PDAGOL1V62/60% PS) and 40DS64 (40% PDAGOLIV64/60% PS) had 45%-50% unsaturated fatty acid and crystallized in β + β polymorphs; thus they were suitable for shortening system. Based on product's baking performance, it could be found that all Madeira cakes prepared from bakery shortening enriched with diacylglycerol had higher specific cake volume as compared to commercial shortening (CS). In customer acceptance test, Madeira cake made from 40DS56 shortening scored the highest rating for all sensory attributes, including overall customer acceptability. It had given an indication that 40DS56 shortening formulation was the most suitable fat blends to be used as bakery shortening.展开更多

The formulation technology is composed of pre-treatment (crushing, separation etc.) and post-treatment (material ratio, additives, stabilizer etc.) to enhance the recyclate property. The formulation for recycled PVC by application basis and processing technology is applied to produce the structural product for civil and construction application such as pipe fittings and water drainage cap for environmental waterway. Also chemical recycling technology for end life PVC scrap which causes environmental pollution by incineration or landfill is studied for producing hydrocarbon and hydrogen chloride for VCM.展开更多

Treatment 2 (AMEn + DAA) was at the highest level significantly different (P 〈 0.01) in egg weight 68.97 g, egg production 62.45%, and egg mass 43. i g/hen/day. Hatching eggs were significantly different which was affected by diet formulation based on amino acids. Fertility, hatchability and number of chicks per hen were significant different, that were affected by diet formulation based on energy (P 〈 0.05). Interaction between two factors, were significantly different in two reproductive traits fertility and hatchability (P 〈 0.05). This experiment showed that diet formulation based on AMEn and DAA for broiler breeder was better and significant on performance.展开更多
