A wavelet collocation method with nonlinear auto companding is proposed for behavioral modeling of switched current circuits.The companding function is automatically constructed according to the initial error distri...A wavelet collocation method with nonlinear auto companding is proposed for behavioral modeling of switched current circuits.The companding function is automatically constructed according to the initial error distribution obtained through approximating the input output function of the SI circuit by conventional wavelet collocation method.In practical applications,the proposed method is a general purpose approach,by which both the small signal effect and the large signal effect are modeled in a unified formulation to ease the process of modeling and simulation.Compared with the published modeling approaches,the proposed nonlinear auto companding method works more efficiently not only in controlling the error distribution but also in reducing the modeling errors.To demonstrate the promising features of the proposed method,several SI circuits are employed as examples to be modeled and simulated.展开更多
Methanol/TiO2(110) is a model system in the surface science study of photocatalysis where methanol is taken as a hole capture. However, the highest occupied molecular orbital of adsorbed methanol lies below the vale...Methanol/TiO2(110) is a model system in the surface science study of photocatalysis where methanol is taken as a hole capture. However, the highest occupied molecular orbital of adsorbed methanol lies below the valence band maximum of TiO2, preventing the hole transfer. To study the level alignment of this system, electronic structure of methanol covered TiO2(110) surface has been measured by ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy and the molecular orbitals of adsorbed methanol have been clearly identified. The results indicate the weak interaction between methanol and TiO2 substrate. The static electronic structure also suggests the mismatch of the energy levels. These static experiments have been performed without band gap excitation which is the prerequisite of a photocatalytie process. Future study of the transient electronic structure using time-resolved UPS has also been discussed.展开更多

In this work, an overmodulation method is developed in the synchronous reference frame with a provision of assigning different priorities to d- and q-axes currents. During the current boosting in motoring, the d-axis current is increased by priority for a fast current response, and to minimize the overmodulation period. However in the regeneration process, the q-axis current is decreased by priority during a load reduction. Simulation and experimental results show that the proposed method, compared with the existing minimum-phase error method, is better for a fast current response, and in shortening the overmodulation period.展开更多

Thus, the energy losses minimization implies not only the technical improvement of the network, through its renewal with the introduction of the technological innovations in the equipment and circuit components as well as the optimal planning of the design and development of the network, but also requires the use of the methods and software tools to facilitate the operation process. The paper presents a strategy for power / energy saving which is replacement of the 6 kV voltage level with 20 kV voltage level. In this line, different urban distribution networks were analyzed using fuzzy techniques for load modeling.展开更多

In particular, the interfaces between the perovskite and charge transport ...Despite demonstrating remarkable power conversion efficiencies(PCEs), perovskite solar cells(PSCs) have not yet achieved their full potential. In particular, the interfaces between the perovskite and charge transport layers account for the vast majority of the recombination losses.Interfacial contact and band alignment between the lowtemperature-processed TiO_(2) electron transport layer(ETL)and the perovskite are essential to minimize nonradiative recombination losses. In this study, a CeOx interlayer is employed to modify the perovskite/TiO_(2) interface, and the charge transport properties of the devices are investigated. The bilayer-structured TiO_(2)/CeOx ETL leads to the modification of the interface energetics, resulting in improved electron extraction and reduced nonradiative recombination in the PSCs.Devices based on TiO_(2)/CeOx ETL exhibit a high open-circuit voltage(Voc) of 1.13 V and an enhanced PCE of more than 20%as compared with Vocof 1.08 V and a PCE of approximately 18% for TiO^(2-)based devices. Moreover, PSCs based on TiO_(2)/CeOx ETL maintain over 88% of their initial PCEs after light illumination for 300 min, whereas PSCs based on TiO_(2) ETL almost failed. This study provides an efficient strategy to enhance the PCE and stability of PSCs based on a lowtemperature-processed TiO_(2) ETL.展开更多
