Consider- ing frequency reuse in the network, we study two power-constraint cases, i.e., per-cell po- wer constraint case and per-tier power con- straint case. We formulate the capacity maxi- mization problem by allowing each subcarrier of Marco eNodeB (MeNB) to be shared by users from multiple Picos. We mathematically demonstrate that the optimal power allocation in the per-cell power constraint case has a re- markably simple nature: each Pico transmits to its user with maximum power, while MeNB either selects only one user to jointly transmit with maximum power or does not transmit to any user. In the per-tier power constraint case, the difference is that the power allocation be- tween two Picos takes the form of water-fill- ing. Numerical results verify that our proposed schemes outperform the conventional interfe- rence coordination schemes.展开更多

Many capacity-enhancing techniques are applied to elevate the gap between the amount of traffic and network capacity, and more solutions are required to minimize the gap. Traffic allocation among multiple networks is regarded as one of the most effective methods to solve the problem. However, current studies are unable to derive the quantity of traffic that each network should carry. An intelligent traffic allocation algorithm for multiple networks is proposed to obtain the optimal traffic distribution. Multiple factors affecting traffic distribution are considered in the proposed algorithm, such as network coverage, network cost, user habit, service types, network capacity and terminals. Using evaluations, we proved that the proposed algorithm enables a lower network cost than load balancing schemes. A case study of strategy rmldng for a 2G system refarming is presented to further illustrate the applicability of the proposed algorithm. We demonstrated that the new algorithm could be applied in strategy rmldng for telecommunication operators.展开更多

Reasonably determining the adopted regional power grid capacity load ratio quantitative numerical value in planning has a strong guiding significance for constructing reliable and economic power grid and preventing power grid from excessive advance or lagging behind the load development. This paper, through the statistics and analysis of a certain regional power grid 2010-2012 three years' power grid daily load characteristics and the investment benefit evaluation of three years' 220KV power grid individual project, makes a preliminary analysis and puts forwards the specific advice on the reasonable values of power ~rid 35-220KV power transformation capacity load ratio.展开更多
