The interactions of these compounds with CT-DNA were determined by the viscometric titration assay and Tm (melting temperature) value assay. Binding strengths were evaluated by spectrophotometric titration experiment and microcalorimetric measurement. The interactions of these compounds were tested with CT-DNA. It was showed that all of these compounds were able to change the Tm value of CT-DNA. The results of viscometric titration assay indicated that these compounds interacted with CT-DNA by intercalation. Spectrophotometric titration experiment showed that the binding strengths of these compounds with CT-DNA were different, which was well in agreement with the cell culture results. The binding was driven by entropy according to the results of the microcalorimetric measurement. This series of b-carboline-3-carboxamides is DNA targeting compounds. Their obvious antitumor biological effect is based on the intercalation with DNA base-pairs.展开更多

The modifications of lactose included in introducing of N-acetamino group at the C-2 position through an azidoiodoglycosylation meanwhile constructing the [3-aminolactoside stereoselectively and replacing 3'-OH with substituent 1,2,3-triazolyl group to enhance the affinity toward galeetin-3.展开更多

The polyimide films obtained have excellent thermal stability and mechanical property. At the same time, the liquid membrane transport of potassium ions by the new polyimide was investigated, which testified that compared to ODPA-DADPM polyimide, the polyimide containing culix[4] arenes has the transport ability to metal ions in regard to bulky, cone-like calix [-4] arene moieties.展开更多

For in-stance, the Pd/C catalyst is deactivated severely in the hydrogenation of N-(3-nitro-4-methoxyphenyl) acetamide. In this study, the chemisorption of sulfur on the surface of deactivated Pd/C was detected by energy dispersive spec-trometer and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Sulfur compounds poison the Pd/C catalyst and increase the forma-tion of azo deposit, reducing the activity of catalyst. We report a mild method to regenerate the Pd/C catalyst: wash the deposit by N,N-dimethylformamide and oxidize the chemisorbed sulfur by hot air. The regenerated Pd/C cata-lyst can be reused at least ten runs with stable activity.展开更多
