The heat release performance of filling body directly impacts on the exploiting efficiency of geothermal energy. Based on heat transfer theory, a three-dimensional unsteady heat transfer model of filling body is established by using FLUENT simulation software. Taking the horizontal U-shaped buried pipe as research object, the variation of temperature field in filling body around buried pipe is analyzed during the heat release process of filling body;the initial temperature of filling body, the diameter of buried pipe, the inlet temperature and inlet velocity of heat transfer fluid influencing of coupling heat transfer, which exists between heat transfer fluid and surrounding filling body within a certain axial distance of buried tube, and influencing of temperature difference between inlet and outlet of heat transfer fluid and on heat transfer performance of filling body are also discussed. It not only lays a theoretical foundation for the synergetic exploitation of mineral resources and geothermal energy in deep mines, but also provides a reference basis for the arrangement of buried pipes in filling body as well as the selection of working conditions for heat transfer fluid.展开更多

It was found that by applying a combined diluted fuel and oxidant instead of their uncombined and/or undiluted states, the best condition is obtained for the establishment of HPDAC's main unique features. These features are low mean and maximum gas temperature and high radiation/total heat transfer to gas and tubes; as well as more uniformity of theirs distributions which results in decrease in NOx pollutant formation and increase in furnace efficiency or energy saving. Moreover, a variety of chemical flame shape, the process fluid and tubes walls temperatures profiles, the required regenerator efficiency and finally the concentration and velocity patterns have been also qualitatively/quantitatively studied.展开更多

To address this issue, we coated near- infrared (NIR) photothermal Cu175S nanocrystals with pH/thermos-sensitive polymer by in situ polymerization. The doxorubicine (DOX) loading content was up to 40 wt.%, with less than 8.2 wt.% of DOX being leaked under normal physiological conditions (pH = 7.4, 37 ~C) for almost 48 h in the absence of NIR light. These nanocapsules demonstrate excellent photothermal stability by continuous long- term NIR irradiation. Based on the stable and high photothermal efficiency (55.8%), pre-loaded drugs were released as desired using 808-nm light as a trigger. Both in vitro and in vivo antitumor therapy results demonstrated that this smart nanoplatform is an effective agent for synergistic hyperthermia-based chemotherapy of cancer, demonstratin~ remote and noninvasive control.展开更多

The present study changes the fin shape and intervals of various heat sink designs so that LED can effectively produce a thermal effect. The water-cooling heat release system and the heat pipe methods show higher thermal performance results than the existing systems; however, the system is of high cost and requires a large-scale apparatus. This study carried out a numerical analysis of the thermal control system by applying heat flux and heat sink properties as an active heat release system using the commercial code ANSYS ver. 13.0 and verified the validity of the new heat sink design for temperature distribution analysis.展开更多
