The results indicate that SiC and Sr are effective for refining primary α-Mg grains and Mg2Si particles. After being partially remelted, a semisolid microstructure with small and spheroidal primary α-Mg particles can be obtained. The microstructural evolution during partial remelting can be divided into four stages: the initial rapid coarsening, structural separation, spheroidization and final coarsening, which are essentially caused by the phase transformations of β→α, α+β→L and α→L, α→L, and α→L and L→α, respectively. The Mg2Si particles have not obvious effect on the general microstructural evolution steps, but can slower the evolution progress and change the coarsening mechanism. During partial remelting, Mg2Si particles first become blunt and then become spheroidal because of melting of their edges and corners, and finally are coarsened owing to Ostwald ripening.展开更多

ZrO2-ipch is a much better support than ZrO2-cs and the traditional ZrO2 irregular particles made by a simple precipitation method (ZrO2-ip). The supported Ni catalyst on ZrO2-ipch (Ni/ZrO2-ipch) exhibited outstanding catalytic activity and coke-resistant stability compared to the ones on ZrO2-cs (Ni/ZrO2-cs) and ZrO2-ip (Ni/ZrO2-ip). Ni/ZrO2-ip exhibited the worst catalytic performance. The origin of the significantly enhanced catalytic performance was revealed by characterization including XRD, N2 adsorption measurement (BET), TEM, H2-TPR, CO chemisorption, CO2-TPD, XPS and TGA. The superior catalytic activity of Ni/ZrO2-ipch to Ni/ZrO2-cs or Ni/ZrO2-ip was ascribed to a higher Ni dispersion, increased reducibility, enhanced oxygen mo- bility, and more basic sites with a higher strength, which were due to the unique hierarchically structural morphology of the ZrO2-ipch support. Ni/ZrO2-ipch exhibited better stability for the DRM reaction than Ni/ZrO2-ip, which was ascribed to its higher resistance to Ni sintering due to a strengthened metal-support interaction and the confinement effect of the mesopores and coke deposition resistance. The higher coking resistance of Ni/ZrO2-ipch for the DRM reaction in comparison with Ni/ZrOz-ip orignated from the coke-removalabitity of the higher amount of lattice oxygen and more basic sites, confirmed by XPS and CO2-TPD analysis, and the stabilized Ni on the Ni/ZrO2-ipch catalyst by the confinement effect of the mesopores of the hierarchical ZrO2-ipch sup- port. The superior catalytic performance and coking resistance of the Ni/ZrO2-ipch catalyst makes it a promising candidate for synthesis gas production from the DRM reaction.展开更多

Theoretically, there are numerous ways for two parental genomes to recom- bine. Hence, chance may play a large role in the formation of a hybrid species. If these genome combinations can evolve rapidly following hybridization and sympatric situations are numerous, recurrent homoploid hybrid speciation is a possibility. We argue that three different, but not mutually exclusive, types of contingencies could influence this process. First, many of these "hopeful monsters" of recombinant parent genotypes would likely have low fitness. Only specific combinations of parental genomic con- tributions may produce viable, intra-fertile hybrid species able to accommodate potential constraints arising from intragenomic conflict. Second, ecological conditions (competition, geography of the contact zones or the initial frequency of both parent spe- cies) might favor different outcomes ranging from sympatric coexistence to the formation of hybrid swarms and ultimately hybrid speciation. Finally, history may also play an important role in promoting or constraining recurrent HHS if multiple hybridization events occur sequentially and parental divergence or isolation differs along this continuum. We discuss under which conditions HHS may occur multiple times in parallel and to what extent recombination and selection may fuse the parent genomes in the same or different ways. We conclude by examining different approaches that might help to solve this intriguing evolutionary puz- zle [Current Zoology 59 (5): 667-674, 2013].展开更多

In this paper, a new method is proposed to identify false monitoring information based on system coupling analysis and collision detection from the perspective of data analysis. Coupling multifractal features are extracted to reflect the changes in coupling relationship by utilizing the multifractal detrended cross-correlation analysis (MF-DXA). Each monitoring variable in process production system has more than one coupled variable, which can be regarded as multi-source. To achieve low redundancy in features and uniform description of coupling relationship, the feature level information fusion is studied based on modified Mahalanobis Taguchi system (MTS). False alarms are identified when the coupling relationships among the coupled monitoring variables collide. Analysis results of coupled R?ssler and Henon datasets indicate the feasibility of this method for selecting the effective coupling feature and uniform description of coupling relationship. The compressor system case of Coal Chemical Ltd. Group is studied and false monitoring information is identified.展开更多
