We use two constraints, Poincaré duality and gauge anomaly free, to discuss the possibility of containing right-handed neutrinos in them. Our work shows that no model in this paper, with each generation containing a right-handed neutrino, can satisfy these two constraints at the same time. So, to consist with neutrino oscillation experiment results, maybe fundamental changes to the present version of NCG are usually needed to include Dirac massive neutrinos.展开更多

According to the attenuation law of explosions and the propagation theory of elastic waves, the calibration function is calculated for near field quakes from 0km to 5km. Magnitudes of two aftershock sequences are calculated. The magnitudes of most explosion earthquakes are small, ranging mainly from magnitude -0.5 to 1.0. The M-t chart of the explosive aftershocks is completely different from that of strong earthquake aftershocks. It not only shows positive columnar lines indicating large magnitudes but also short negative columnar lines indicating small magnitudes.展开更多

One sequen...Sequential chemical extraction procedure has been widely used to partition particulate trace metals into various fractions and to describe the distribution and the statue of trace metals in geo environment. One sequential chemical extraction procedure was employed here to partition various fractions of Mn in soils. The experiment was designed with quality controlling concept in order to show sampling and analytical error. Experimental results obtained on duplicate analysis of all soil samples demonstrated that the precision was less than 10%(at 95%confidence level). The accuracy was estimated by comparing the accepted total concentration of Mn in standard reference materials (SRMs) with the measured sum of the individual fractions. The recovery of Mn from SRM1 and SRM2 was 94.1%and 98.4%, respectively. The detection limit, accuracy and precision of the sequential chemical extraction procedure were discussed in detailed. All the results suggest that the trueness of the analytical method is satisfactory.展开更多

The optimum operation parameters for the highest performance w...Phase hybrid biological reactor (HBR) was used in treating coke wastewater by adding submerging fiber-ball fillers in suspended growth activated sludge. The optimum operation parameters for the highest performance were determined. It was found that the hybrid biological reactor worked well for the coke wastewater treatment in terms of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), NH4+ -N and other refractory organic compounds removal efficiencies. Compared with conventional activated sludge system, the removal rate of COD and NH4+ -N and the nitrating rate were higher and more stable in the hybrid biological reactor. COD of effluent was less than 75 mg/L and the removal rate of COD and NH4+ -N could be up to 95.0% and 92.5% when COD of influent and NH4+ -N were less than 700 mg/L and 300 rag/L, respectively. In this way, the quality of effluent concentration could reach the first class of integrated wastewater discharge standard (GB8978-1996) (COD ≤100 mg/L).展开更多

This definition relates thermodynamic equilibrium to its physical causes and accounts for all factors that determine it for all types of equilibrium. Standard definitions of thermodynamic equilibrium are incomplete. They do not take account of all factors that determine such equilibriums, discuss the impediments which may prevent them being reached or relate the properties that define equilibriums to the physical reasons that determine them when impediments are present. The laws of thermodynamics determine the requirements for equilibrium. These laws arise from the physical behaviour of the molecules in molecular systems and are consequences of the conservation of energy, the energies of molecules, statistics, Newton's laws of motion, and the equi-partition of energy. The standard definition of thermodynamic equilibrium correctly defines equilibrium whenever impediments are not factors. The discussion demonstrates how impediments arise, accounts for their role in defining equilibrium and how they relate to the energies of molecules at the conditions of the system. The results indicate that the effectiveness of the algal removal with mentioned integrated process is much higher and the apparatus can operate stably. When the turbidity, chemical oxygen demand (CODMn), total nitrogen (TN), total phosphorus (TP) and algae densities of the raw water are 29-38 NTU, 7.45-7.79 mg/L, 2.496-2.981 mag/L, 0.237-0.255 mg/L and 5.78-7.94×10^8 cells/L respectively, it can be reduced to 0.8-1.7 NTU, 1.69-2.84 rag/L, 0.579-0.692mg/L, 0.013-0.038 mg/L, 0.06-0.38×10^8 cells/L. The average removal rates of turbidity, CODMn, TN, TP and algae density can reach 96.4%, 71.5%, 76.8%, 92.0% and 96.9% respectively. The treated water can meet the requirements of class Ⅰ- Ⅱ in Environmental Quality Standard, for Surface Water.展开更多
Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has garnered significant global interest owing to its multi-component and multi-target theoretical framework and extensive therapeutic efficacy.However,the identification of quality ma...Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has garnered significant global interest owing to its multi-component and multi-target theoretical framework and extensive therapeutic efficacy.However,the identification of quality markers(Q-markers)remains a formidable challenge in TCM.Hence,this study aimed to integrate network pharmacology and chemometrics to identify Q-markers in Chinese patent medicine,with a focus on Huo-Luo-San(HLS)as a case study.HLS,a widely used powdered Chinese patent medicine in China,comprises a complex formula of 10 herbs,initially formulated during the Qing dynasty for treating fractures.Initially,13 components,chlorogenic acid,typhaneoside,isorhamnetin-3-O-neohesperidoside,cynaroside,notoginsenoside R_1,ginsenoside Rg_1,baicalin,berberine hydrochloride,ginsenoside Rb_1,dehydrocostus lactone,dioscin,imperatorin,and costunolide,were selected as phytochemical markers for each herb based on the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2020 version),forming the“Herbs-Compounds-targets”network of HLS using network pharmacology.Subsequently,employing network pharmacology,the 13 HLS components were quantified using UPLC-QqQ-MS.Chromatographic conditions were optimized on a Waters Cortecs C_(18)column(2.1 mm×100 mm,1.6μm)with a gradient elution comprising 0.1%formic acid in water and acetonitrile.Analyte detection was performed in the multiple-reaction monitoring mode,and the method underwent validation for linearity,detection limit,precision,repeatability,stability,and accuracy.The validated method was then utilized to analyze the 13 components in 15 batches of HLS samples.Chemometric techniques,including hierarchical cluster analysis,principal component analysis,orthogonal partial least squares projection discriminant analysis,and box map analyses,were subsequently employed to identify the Q-markers.Ultimately,six components,baicalin,notoginsenoside R_1,berberine hydrochloride,dioscin,imperatorin,and chlorogenic acid,were selected as Q-markers for HLS.The integration of network pharmacology with chemometrics represented a novel approach for selecting Q-markers in Chinese patent medicine.展开更多

Until now, there is limited info...Water quality criteria (WQC) are threshold limits for pollutants or other hazard factors in the ambient water environment, which are based on scientific experiments and extrapolations. Until now, there is limited information available regarding the study of water quality criteria in China. It is imperative to launch national-level systematic WQC studies that focus on the regional characteristics of China and provide scientific support for the enactment or revision of water quality standards and environmental management. This article reviews the concept of WQC and discusses the methodology and global progress of WQC research. The article also summarizes the key scientific issues in WQC research, including species sensitivity distribution, toxicological endpoint selection, and models selection. Furthermore, we can adopt the derivation method used in the USA and divide WQC into acute and chronic criteria. Finally, considering the current status of WQC research in China, we point out important directions for future national studies, including the selection of native species and the comprehensive use of models.展开更多

In real life situations, however, it suffers the loss of volatility information, since many variables are bounded by intervals in a given period. To address this issue, this paper provides a new methodology for interval time series analysis. The concept of "interval stochastic process" is formally defined as a counterpart of "stochastic process" in point-based econometrics. The authors introduce the concepts of interval stationarity, interval statistics (including interval mean, interval variance, etc.) and propose an interval linear model to investigate the dynamic relationships between interval processes. A new interval-based optimization approach for estimation is proposed, and corresponding evaluation criteria are derived. To demonstrate that the new interval method provides valid results, an empirical example on the sterling-dollar exchange rate is presented.展开更多

We propose an algorithm to quantify the theory of correlations and to give an intuitive, more accurate correlation coefficient.We propose a predictive metric to calculate correlations between paired values, known as the general rank-based correlation coefficient. It fulfills the five basic criteria of a predictive metric: independence from sample size,value between-1 and 1, measuring the degree of monotonicity, insensitivity to outliers, and intuitive demonstration.Furthermore, the metric has been validated by performing experiments using a real-time dataset and random number simulations. Mathematical derivations of the proposed equations have also been provided. We have compared it to Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. The comparison results show that the proposed metric fares better than the existing metric on all the predictive metric criteria.展开更多
OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Shenmai injection for shock.METHODS: Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that evaluated the therapeutic effect of Shenmai injection on shock(including septic shock, ...OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Shenmai injection for shock.METHODS: Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that evaluated the therapeutic effect of Shenmai injection on shock(including septic shock, cardiogenic shock, hypovolemic shock, neurogenic shock and anaphylactic shock) were included in this analysis. The major electronic databases were searched until May 2015. The methodological quality of the trials was assessed according to the Cochrane Handbook. Review Manager 5.3 and Stata 12.0 software were applied for data analysis.RESULTS: Thirty RCTs involving 2038 participants were included. The methodological quality of the trials was generally passable. The combined use of Shenmai injection and conventional medicine was significantly more effective at managing shock compared to conventional medicine alone in the outcomes of total effective rate [risk ratio(RR 1.25,95% confidence interval(CI) 1.18 to 1.31] and mortality rate [risk difference(RD)-0.10, 95% CI-0.17 to-0.02]. Likewise, improvements were observed in other metrics. Three trials reported adverse events, but no trial reported serious adverse effects.CONCLUSION: Our results indicated the potential effectiveness of Shenmai injection combined with conventional medicine treatment for shock. However, further rigorously designed trials are needed to collect and weigh up all the evidence for the use of Shenmai injection.展开更多

METHODS: The patients...OBJECTIVE: To explore the characteristics of prima- ry liver cancer in terms of Traditional Chinese Medi-cine (TCM) by analyzing the variations of the patterns along with the clinical stages. METHODS: The patients who were hospitalized in the Changhai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medi- cine dated from March 1999 to December 2008 were included in this retrospective study. The patients were grouped according to their cancer stag- es, and their patterns were judged and quantified according to the "Standard diagnosis and quantitative criteria of the common patterns in primary liv-er cancer" formulated by the Changhai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Statistics methods included ANOVA and nonparametric test, among others.RESULTS: The data of the 398 newly diagnosed patients showed that Qi Stagnation, Blood Stasis, and Dampness patterns were more frequent than the other basic patterns with relatively high scores; patterns of Liver Qi Stagnation, Liver Blood Stasis, and Dampness Heat were more than the other complex patterns and scored relatively high. Scores of Dampness and Liver Qi Stagnation patterns varied among the groups at different stages and the differences were statistically significant (PDampeness= 0.002, PLiver Qi Stagnation : 0.020). The highest scores of Damp- ness pattern and Liver Qi Stagnation pattern corresponded with Stage Ⅲ b, and Stage Ⅲ a, respectively. Dampness pattern frequency was higher (P = 0.001) in the Stage Ⅲb group than in other groups.CONCLUSION: Pattern characteristics in patients with primary liver cancer of different clinical stages might manifest in the variations of the Dampness pattern along the process of the disease and the major pathogenic factor of primary liver cancer might be Dampness.展开更多

Based on the FCN parameters obtained...The parameters, i.e. the Period and the Quality factor, of the Earth's free core nutation (FCN) are closely related to the dissipative coupling between the core and the mantle. Based on the FCN parameters obtained from the actual observations and theoretical simulation, significantly constrained in this study were several key parameters near the core-mantle boundary (CMB), related to the core and mantle coupling, including viscosity at the top of liquid core, conductivity at the bottom of the mantle, and dynamic ellipticity of the CMB. In order to choose high quality observations from global stations of the superconducting gravimeters (SG) on the Global Geodynamics Project (GGP) network, we adopted two criteria, the standard deviations of harmonic analysis on tidal observations and the quality of the FCN parameters calculated with the observations from single station. After the mean ocean tidal effects of the recent ocean tidal models were removed, the FCN parameters were retrieved by stacking the tidal gravity observations from the GGP network. The results were in a good agreement with those in the recent research by using the SG and/or the VLBI observations. Combined with an FCN theoretical model deduced by angular momentum method, the viscous and electromagnetic coupling parameters near the CMB were evaluated. Numerical results indicated that the viscosity at the top of the liquid core was in the range from 6.6×102 to 2.6×103 Pa·s, which was in good agreement with those obtained from the Earth's nutation, the FCN and variations in the length of day (LOD). The conductivity at the bottom of the mantle should be as large as 2.6×106-1.0×107 S m-1 to match the FCN quality factors from the actual observations. The dissipative coupling had a little influence of 1-2 sidereal days for the FCN period.展开更多

The average removal rates of turbidity, CODMn, TN, TP and algae density can reach 96.4%, 71.5%, 76.8%, 92.0% and 96.9% respectively. The treated water can meet the requirements of class Ⅰ- Ⅱ in Environmental Quality Standard, for Surface Water.

文摘Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)has garnered significant global interest owing to its multi-component and multi-target theoretical framework and extensive therapeutic efficacy.However,the identification of quality markers(Q-markers)remains a formidable challenge in TCM.Hence,this study aimed to integrate network pharmacology and chemometrics to identify Q-markers in Chinese patent medicine,with a focus on Huo-Luo-San(HLS)as a case study.HLS,a widely used powdered Chinese patent medicine in China,comprises a complex formula of 10 herbs,initially formulated during the Qing dynasty for treating fractures.Initially,13 components,chlorogenic acid,typhaneoside,isorhamnetin-3-O-neohesperidoside,cynaroside,notoginsenoside R_1,ginsenoside Rg_1,baicalin,berberine hydrochloride,ginsenoside Rb_1,dehydrocostus lactone,dioscin,imperatorin,and costunolide,were selected as phytochemical markers for each herb based on the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2020 version),forming the“Herbs-Compounds-targets”network of HLS using network pharmacology.Subsequently,employing network pharmacology,the 13 HLS components were quantified using UPLC-QqQ-MS.Chromatographic conditions were optimized on a Waters Cortecs C_(18)column(2.1 mm×100 mm,1.6μm)with a gradient elution comprising 0.1%formic acid in water and acetonitrile.Analyte detection was performed in the multiple-reaction monitoring mode,and the method underwent validation for linearity,detection limit,precision,repeatability,stability,and accuracy.The validated method was then utilized to analyze the 13 components in 15 batches of HLS samples.Chemometric techniques,including hierarchical cluster analysis,principal component analysis,orthogonal partial least squares projection discriminant analysis,and box map analyses,were subsequently employed to identify the Q-markers.Ultimately,six components,baicalin,notoginsenoside R_1,berberine hydrochloride,dioscin,imperatorin,and chlorogenic acid,were selected as Q-markers for HLS.The integration of network pharmacology with chemometrics represented a novel approach for selecting Q-markers in Chinese patent medicine.

文摘Water quality criteria (WQC) are threshold limits for pollutants or other hazard factors in the ambient water environment, which are based on scientific experiments and extrapolations. Until now, there is limited information available regarding the study of water quality criteria in China. It is imperative to launch national-level systematic WQC studies that focus on the regional characteristics of China and provide scientific support for the enactment or revision of water quality standards and environmental management. This article reviews the concept of WQC and discusses the methodology and global progress of WQC research. The article also summarizes the key scientific issues in WQC research, including species sensitivity distribution, toxicological endpoint selection, and models selection. Furthermore, we can adopt the derivation method used in the USA and divide WQC into acute and chronic criteria. Finally, considering the current status of WQC research in China, we point out important directions for future national studies, including the selection of native species and the comprehensive use of models.

文摘Traditional econometrics has long employed "points" to measure time series data. In real life situations, however, it suffers the loss of volatility information, since many variables are bounded by intervals in a given period. To address this issue, this paper provides a new methodology for interval time series analysis. The concept of "interval stochastic process" is formally defined as a counterpart of "stochastic process" in point-based econometrics. The authors introduce the concepts of interval stationarity, interval statistics (including interval mean, interval variance, etc.) and propose an interval linear model to investigate the dynamic relationships between interval processes. A new interval-based optimization approach for estimation is proposed, and corresponding evaluation criteria are derived. To demonstrate that the new interval method provides valid results, an empirical example on the sterling-dollar exchange rate is presented.
文摘Correlation analysis is an effective mechanism for studying patterns in data and making predictions.Many interesting discoveries have been made by formulating correlations in seemingly unrelated data. We propose an algorithm to quantify the theory of correlations and to give an intuitive, more accurate correlation coefficient.We propose a predictive metric to calculate correlations between paired values, known as the general rank-based correlation coefficient. It fulfills the five basic criteria of a predictive metric: independence from sample size,value between-1 and 1, measuring the degree of monotonicity, insensitivity to outliers, and intuitive demonstration.Furthermore, the metric has been validated by performing experiments using a real-time dataset and random number simulations. Mathematical derivations of the proposed equations have also been provided. We have compared it to Spearman's rank correlation coefficient. The comparison results show that the proposed metric fares better than the existing metric on all the predictive metric criteria.

文摘OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Shenmai injection for shock.METHODS: Randomized controlled trials(RCTs)that evaluated the therapeutic effect of Shenmai injection on shock(including septic shock, cardiogenic shock, hypovolemic shock, neurogenic shock and anaphylactic shock) were included in this analysis. The major electronic databases were searched until May 2015. The methodological quality of the trials was assessed according to the Cochrane Handbook. Review Manager 5.3 and Stata 12.0 software were applied for data analysis.RESULTS: Thirty RCTs involving 2038 participants were included. The methodological quality of the trials was generally passable. The combined use of Shenmai injection and conventional medicine was significantly more effective at managing shock compared to conventional medicine alone in the outcomes of total effective rate [risk ratio(RR 1.25,95% confidence interval(CI) 1.18 to 1.31] and mortality rate [risk difference(RD)-0.10, 95% CI-0.17 to-0.02]. Likewise, improvements were observed in other metrics. Three trials reported adverse events, but no trial reported serious adverse effects.CONCLUSION: Our results indicated the potential effectiveness of Shenmai injection combined with conventional medicine treatment for shock. However, further rigorously designed trials are needed to collect and weigh up all the evidence for the use of Shenmai injection.

According to this procedure, the Einstein equation can be reduced to some 2-dimensional Laplace-like equations or rotation and divergence equations, which are much convenient for the resolution.

文摘OBJECTIVE: To explore the characteristics of prima- ry liver cancer in terms of Traditional Chinese Medi-cine (TCM) by analyzing the variations of the patterns along with the clinical stages. METHODS: The patients who were hospitalized in the Changhai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medi- cine dated from March 1999 to December 2008 were included in this retrospective study. The patients were grouped according to their cancer stag- es, and their patterns were judged and quantified according to the "Standard diagnosis and quantitative criteria of the common patterns in primary liv-er cancer" formulated by the Changhai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Statistics methods included ANOVA and nonparametric test, among others.RESULTS: The data of the 398 newly diagnosed patients showed that Qi Stagnation, Blood Stasis, and Dampness patterns were more frequent than the other basic patterns with relatively high scores; patterns of Liver Qi Stagnation, Liver Blood Stasis, and Dampness Heat were more than the other complex patterns and scored relatively high. Scores of Dampness and Liver Qi Stagnation patterns varied among the groups at different stages and the differences were statistically significant (PDampeness= 0.002, PLiver Qi Stagnation : 0.020). The highest scores of Damp- ness pattern and Liver Qi Stagnation pattern corresponded with Stage Ⅲ b, and Stage Ⅲ a, respectively. Dampness pattern frequency was higher (P = 0.001) in the Stage Ⅲb group than in other groups.CONCLUSION: Pattern characteristics in patients with primary liver cancer of different clinical stages might manifest in the variations of the Dampness pattern along the process of the disease and the major pathogenic factor of primary liver cancer might be Dampness.
文摘This paper deals with the existence of proper conformal Killing vectors(CKVs) in Kantowski-Sachs metric.Subject to some integrability conditions, the general form of vector filed generating CKVs and the conformal factor is presented. The integrability conditions are solved generally as well as in some particular cases to show that the nonconformally flat Kantowski-Sachs metric admits two proper CKVs, while it admits a 15-dimensional Lie algebra of CKVs in the case when it becomes conformally flat. The inheriting conformal Killing vectors(ICKVs), which map fluid lines conformally, are also investigated.

文摘The parameters, i.e. the Period and the Quality factor, of the Earth's free core nutation (FCN) are closely related to the dissipative coupling between the core and the mantle. Based on the FCN parameters obtained from the actual observations and theoretical simulation, significantly constrained in this study were several key parameters near the core-mantle boundary (CMB), related to the core and mantle coupling, including viscosity at the top of liquid core, conductivity at the bottom of the mantle, and dynamic ellipticity of the CMB. In order to choose high quality observations from global stations of the superconducting gravimeters (SG) on the Global Geodynamics Project (GGP) network, we adopted two criteria, the standard deviations of harmonic analysis on tidal observations and the quality of the FCN parameters calculated with the observations from single station. After the mean ocean tidal effects of the recent ocean tidal models were removed, the FCN parameters were retrieved by stacking the tidal gravity observations from the GGP network. The results were in a good agreement with those in the recent research by using the SG and/or the VLBI observations. Combined with an FCN theoretical model deduced by angular momentum method, the viscous and electromagnetic coupling parameters near the CMB were evaluated. Numerical results indicated that the viscosity at the top of the liquid core was in the range from 6.6×102 to 2.6×103 Pa·s, which was in good agreement with those obtained from the Earth's nutation, the FCN and variations in the length of day (LOD). The conductivity at the bottom of the mantle should be as large as 2.6×106-1.0×107 S m-1 to match the FCN quality factors from the actual observations. The dissipative coupling had a little influence of 1-2 sidereal days for the FCN period.
文摘The geometric flow theory and its applications turned into one of the most intensively developing branches of modern geometry. Here, a brief introduction to Finslerian Ricci flow and their self-similar solutions known as Ricci solitons are given and some recent results are presented. They are a generalization of Einstein metrics and are previously developed by the present authors for Finsler manifolds. In the present work, it is shown that a complete shrinking Ricci soliton Finsler manifold has a finite fundamental group.
