When the flux produced by the circulating current in SQUID loop is considered, screening effect is formally characterized by a LC resonator. Using large-detuning condition and Fr6hlich transformation in the qubit-cavity-resonator system, we calculate the decoherenee factor for charge qubit and the effective qubit-cavity Hamiltonian. The decoherence factor owns a factorized structure, it shows that screening effect is a resource of decoherence for charge qubit. The effective Hamiltonian shows that the screening effect results in a frequency shift for charge qubit and a modified qubit-cavity coupling constant induced by a LC resonator.展开更多

This paper studied the condition that structures should be in when the hysteretic dampers mitigated seismic action most effectively and made appropriate numerical analysis to verify the effectiveness of theory derivation. The inelastic seismic responses were analyzed for the SDOF system that the shear strength ratio of the damper system was taken differently and the result showed that when the ratio was in the vicinity of the optimum strength ratio of the damper system, the displacement of the structure was minimum and the energy dissipation of dampers was maximum, which indicated that the dampers mitigated seismic action most effectively. The result also indicated that the hysteretic dampers had significant earthquake mitigation effect when the strength ratio β changed in a relatively wide range.展开更多

The time evolution of concurrence is studied for the initial state cos θ|01) + sin θ|10) at zero temperature. The influences of inhomogeneous magnetic field, anisotropic parameter and decoherence on entanglement dynamic are addressed in detail, and a concurrence formula of the steady state is found. It is shown that the entanglement sudden death (ESD) and entanglement sudden birth (ESB) appear with the decoherence effect, and the stable concurrence depends on the uniform magnetic field B, anisotropic parameter △ and environment coupling strength γ, which is independent of different initial states and nonuniform magnetic field b.展开更多

The AlOx layer is obtained by in situ thermal oxidation, which provides high-quality junction tunnel barriers. The A1 junctions show a considerably low leakage current and the Josephson critical current density can be conveniently controlled in the range of a few to above 100 A/cm2, which is favorable in the phase qubit application. Macroscopic quantum tunneling, energy spectrum, energy relaxation time, Rabi oscillation, and Ramsey interference of the A1 phase qubits are measured, demonstrating clearly quantum coherent dynamics with a timescale of 10 ns. Further improvements of the coherent dynamic properties of the device are discussed.展开更多
