Dynamic Assessment on Regional Eco-environmental Quality Using AHP-Statistics Model—A Case Study of Chaohu Lake Basin

An indicator system closely connected with eco-environment, in which indicator involves in such fields as society, economy, resources, environment and ecology, is first proposed for eco-environmental quality assessment. Then, a hierarchical model with four levels is established by virtue of these indicators and attributes. In the model, weights of indicators and attributes are determined by combining Delphi method with the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and a statistic method is used to eliminate the influences arising from the differences in dimension and magnitude of indicators. On these grounds, an AHP-statistics model is provided for regional eco-environmental quality assessment. As a case, such AHP-statistics model is utilized in the dynamic analysis of regional eco-environmental assessment in Chaohu Lake basin. Study results show that natural environmental quality in the watershed was in the declining state while social environmental quality was in a markedly improved situation from 1996, and the synthetic eco-environmental quality was gradually and slowly improved under the common influences of both natural and social environmental factors. Example of application testified the capacities of above methodology to evaluate the real and dynamic state of regional eco-environmental quality.

The Comparative Approach on Outdoor Leisure Behavior of Urban Elderly People:A Case Study in Beijing

With the income increase of elderly people in Beijing and the improvement of leisure facilities since 2000, the quality of elderly people leisure life in Beijing has obviously increased com- pared to ten years ago. According to the investigation and com- parative analysis on more than 900 elderly people, who usually exercise in public parks in Beijing City, we have found out several new features of elderly people＇s outdoor recreation in Belting： the increase of the leisure time, the expansion of leisure space, the in- dividuation of interest and the diversification of consumption. The leisure life quality evaluation index system of urban elderly people can be built based on these analyses. In order to accommodate the development tendency of elderly people＇s demand for leisure diversification, we should strengthen the organization and manage- ment of elderly people＇s leisure activity in urban construction, and pay more attention to function complementation between commu- nities and parks.

Health-related quality of life evaluated by tumor node metastasis staging system in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma

AIM: To investigate and evaluate the change in healthrelated quality of life (HRQoL) by tumor node metastasis (TNM) staging system in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). METHODS: A total of 140 patients diagnosed with HCC between June 2008 and April 2009 in our department were enrolled to this study. One hundred and thirty-five (96.5%) patients had liver cirrhosis secondary to hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection, 73 (54.07%) of them being HBV DNA positive; the other etiologies of liver cirrhosis were alcoholic liver disease (1.4%), hepatitis C (1.4%) or cryptogenic (0.7%). All subjects were fully aware of their diagnosis and provided informed consent. HRQoL was assessed before treatment using the functional assessment of cancer therapy-hepatobiliary (FACT-Hep) questionnaire. Descriptive statistics were used to evaluate demographics and disease-specific characteristics of the patients. One-way analysis of variance and independent samples t tests were used to compare the overall FACT-Hep scores and clinically distinct TNM stages. Scores for all FACT-Hep items were analyzed by frequency analyses. The mean scores obtained from the FACT-Hep in different Child-Pugh classes were also evaluated. RESULTS: The mean FACT-Hep scores were reduced significantly from TNM StageⅠto Stage Ⅱ, Stage ⅢA, Stage ⅢB group (687 ± 39.69 vs 547 ± 42.57 vs 387 ± 51.24 vs 177 ± 71.44, P = 0.001). Regarding the physical and emotional well-being subscales, scores decreased gradually from Stage Ⅰ to Stage ⅢB (P = 0.002 vs Stage Ⅰ; P = 0.032 vs Stage Ⅱ; P = 0.033 vs Stage ⅢA). Mean FACT-Hep scores varied by Child-Pugh class, especially in the subscales of physical well-being, functional well-being and the hepatobiliary cancer (P = 0.001 vs Stage I; P = 0.036 vs Stage Ⅱ; P = 0.032 vs Stage ⅢA). For the social and family well-being subscale, only Stage ⅢB scores were significantly lower as compared with Stage Ⅰ scores (P = 0.035). For the subscales of functional well-being and hepatobiliary cancer, there were significant differences for Stages ⅡΙ, ⅢA and ⅢB (P = 0.002vs StageⅠ). CONCLUSION: HRQoL of patients with HCC worsens gradually with progression of TNM stages. The most impaired subscales of HRQoL, as measured by FACT-Hep, were physical and emotional well-being.

Improvement of Teaching Ability based on Teaching Reflection and Evaluation： Taking Economics Teaching as an Example

Nevertheless, there are many problems in the teaching quality evaluation system in the aspects of concept, subject, standard, organization, etc. Therefore, we have to reffect and reconstruct the teaching quality evaluation system in colleges and universities.

Study on the Evaluation of Urbanization Quality and Promotion Measures

A Study on the Evaluation System of Teaching Quality of Higher Education for Adults

Sustainable development of coal cities in Heilongjiang province based on AHP method

The sustainable development of coal mining cities in Heilongjiang province has important effect on the economic stability and development of Heilongjiang, Northeast China, and China at large. To further the sustainable development evaluation system of coal mining cities in Heilongjiang province, based on the analytic hierarchy process （AHP） method combined with operational and scientific principles using Saaty＇s 1-9 scale method to construct the judgment matrix from five aspects, such as economic development and environmental quality, this paper establishes the comprehensive evaluation index sys- tem of sustainable development of coal mining cities in Heilongjiang province, including comprehensive index of industrial economic benefits and the contribution rate of science and technology. In addition, using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method, a comprehensive evaluation is made on the indices of the four major coal mining cities of Heilongjiang. The result shows that the coal mining cities are not bet- ter than Datong of Shanxi province in many indices. The economic development and environment quality are the most important indices of the targeted layer influencing the sustainable development of coal min- ing cities of HeilonKiiang, and their index weights are 0.4358 and 0.2844, respectively. These two indices including comprehensive index of industrial economic benefit and the ratio of environmental protection investment to GDP are the key elements influencing the two aspects.

Engineering Quality and Knowledge Systems： An Appraisal for Improving the Spinning Stage

The industrial organisations have a vested interest in quality and its practices in making a quantum leap, thereby requiring proper refocusing and rethinking. This is targeted seriously towards firms acquiring Knowledge Systems （KS） in order to nurture the employees＇ capabilities. Therefore, to enhance performances and their highly creative direction takes consideration of QE （quality engineering） and KS and disciplines complementary to each other. Additionally, the flow of operations and activities of the KS through the application of quality engineering （QE） principles is according to the view of Japanese engineer Taguchi. This aims to achieve good quality in the product design and processes, and also to anticipate problems that may occur before the shipping of the products. In this study, the use of quality control engineering and Taguchi＇s function methods in determining these properties and the loss caused by the company will be examined. However, the adopted approach of study scope to the society will aid KS. Also, efforts in this direction motivate the employment of a statistical method by Taguchi which relied on the principle of target-oriented quality, representing the value characterising the product quality.

犯罪严重性程度决定着刑罚严厉性程度。但现行中国刑法里的犯罪轻重仅仅由轻重不等的法定刑加以表示 ,如果没有其他“刻度”指示犯罪的轻重 ,人们只能凭借刑之轻重这一结果反推罪之轻重这一原因。本文研究的问题是 ,犯罪本身是否存在着某种独立于法定刻度即法定刑之外的某种轻重刻度 ,如果存在 ,它对罪刑关系的科学分析有何意义。为此 ,本文主要讨论了罪量分析的障碍、罪量评价体系及其意义。

Evaluation of the accuracy and efficiency of the in-vivo dosimetry systems for routine cancer patient dose verification

Objective： This study aimed to evaluate of the accuracy and efficiency of the in-vivo dosimetry systems for routine cancer patient dose verification. Methods： In vivo dosimetry, using diodes and thermoluminescent dosimeters （TLD） is performed in many radiotherapy departments to verify the dose delivered during treatment. A total of 40 TLD divided into two batches （one of 20 and other of 20 TLD） were used. Different doses of Co6~ beam were delivered to the TLD chips at different depths. Diodes were irradiated at different depths in a （30 x 30 x 30） cm3 water slab phantom with various conditions of Field sizes, monitor units and SSDs. Results： The limitation of the in-vivo dosimetry technique is that dose can only be in system readout difficulty and type of readout （TLD system and diode） as the patient dose is directly measured. Several authors have investigated the measurements was 1.3%, with a standard deviation of 2.6%. Results were normally distributed around a mean as -0.39 and 0.34 respectively. After the evaluation of in vivo dosimetry brain case as an example, the mean doses for both eyes were 1.8%, with a standard deviation of 2.7%. These results are similar to studies conducted with diodes and TLD＇s. Conclusion： The diode is superior to TLD, since the diode measurements can be obtained on line and allows an immediate check. Other advantages of diodes include high sensitivity, good spatial resolution, and small size, simplicity of used.
