S...With the development of the multicellular nodules in the leaves of Hypericum per plastids increased both in number and volume, and some plastids degenerated and were surrounded by dark tubular elements and vesicles. Some vesicles fused with vacuoles and secreted substances into vacuoles. There are many multivesicles, multimembrane structures and osmiophilic droplets in vacuoles of nodule cells. Meanwhile, dictyosome secreted vesicles into the vacuoles. However, there is a large central vacuole completely filled with secretory materials (hypericin) in matured multicellular nodules. This suggests that the osmiophilic droplets may be a precursor of hypericin originated from the degenerated plastids. There were abundant endoplasmic reticulums and dictyosomes between the plastids and osmiophilic droplets, suggesting that they may be involved in the synthesis and/or transport of the precursor of hypericin.展开更多
The Al-Cu-Li alloy is welded by using laser beam welding,and the welding wire ER4043 is used as filler metal. The microstructure and mechanical property of welded joints are systematically investigated. Microstructure...The Al-Cu-Li alloy is welded by using laser beam welding,and the welding wire ER4043 is used as filler metal. The microstructure and mechanical property of welded joints are systematically investigated. Microstructure analyses show that the fusion zone is mainly composed of α-Al matrix phase and some strengthening phases including T,δ’,θ’,β’ and T1,etc. During welding,the weld formation and joint quality are obviously improved by the addition of Al-Si filler wire. The measurements of mechanical property indicate that,compared with that of the base metal(BM), the microhardness in the weld zone is decreased to a certain extent. Under the appropriate welding parameters,the tensile strength of welded joint reaches 369.4 MPa,which is 67.8% of that of the BM. There are many dimples on the joint fracture surface,and it mainly presents the fracture characteristic of dimple aggregation.展开更多
This paper presents an investigation of a new method of purifying cryogenic liquid using sintered metallic wire-mesh filter, which has the advantages of high purifying efficiency and preferred strength at absolutely l...This paper presents an investigation of a new method of purifying cryogenic liquid using sintered metallic wire-mesh filter, which has the advantages of high purifying efficiency and preferred strength at absolutely low temperature. Experiments are conducted to purify solid CO2 particles from liquid nitrogen. Temperature and pressure in the upstream and downstream of the filter, and the flow rate of carbon dioxide (CO2) gas and liquid nitrogen are measured, with the gas content of filtrate analyzed using a CO2 concentration detector. It is illustrated that after filtration, the purity of liquid nitrogen (volume fraction) is higher than 99.99%, which means that the volume fraction of CO2 is less than 0.01%. Effects of operation parameters on the performance of the filter, such as pressure drop Ap and filtration efficiency E are analyzed quantitatively. The present conclusions will provide a guideline to the optimumal design and operation of sintered metallic wire-mesh filter in cryogenic application.展开更多
This paper reports on the preparation of Fe82.7-85.7Si2-4.9B9.2-11.2P1.5.2.7C0,8 soft magnetic amorphous alloys with a distinctly high Fe content of 93.5-95.5 wt.% by component design and composition adjustment. All a...This paper reports on the preparation of Fe82.7-85.7Si2-4.9B9.2-11.2P1.5.2.7C0,8 soft magnetic amorphous alloys with a distinctly high Fe content of 93.5-95.5 wt.% by component design and composition adjustment. All alloys can be readily fabricated into completely amorphous ribbon samples with good surface quality by the single copper roller melt-spinning method. These alloys show good bending ductility and excellent magnetic properties after annealing, i.e., low coercivity (He) of 3.3-5.9 A/m, high permeability (μe) of 5000-10000 and high flux saturation density (Bs) of 1.63-1.66 T. The mechanism of the good glass forming ability (GFA)and soft-magnetic properties are explored. The amorphous alloys with the high Fe content comparable to that of the desired high Si alloy can be promising candidates for the potential application in electric devices.展开更多
