The results show that the volume fraction of dynamic recrystallization increased with the decrease of Zener-Hollomon (Z) parameter, and the volume fraction of static recrystallization increased with the increasing of Z parameter. The strength and fracture toughness of the alloy after solution and aging treatment first increased and then decreased with the increase of Z parameter. The microstructure map was established on the basis of microstructure evolution during deformation and solution heat treatment. The optimization deformation conditions were acquired under Z parameters of 1.2×10^10-9.1×10^12.展开更多

It is shown that dynamic recovery is the dominant softening mechanism at high Zener?Hollomon (Z) values, and dynamic recrystallization tends to appear at low Z values. Hot compression with ln Z=24.01 (723 K, 0.01 s?1) gives rise to the highest fraction of recrystallization of 10.2%. EBSD results show that the recrystallized grains are present near the original grain boundaries and exhibit similar orientation to the deformed grain. Strain-induced boundary migration is likely the mechanism for dynamic recrystallization. The low density of Al3Zr dispersoids near grain boundaries can make contribution to strain-induced boundary migration.展开更多

The flow stress was corrected due to the deformation heating. The Zener-Hollomon parameter (Z parameter) and processing map were established to describe the hot deformation behavior. The results indicate that the applicable deformation should be conducted at the strain rate of 0.1 s-~ and the temperature range of 350-400 ~C. Besides, the relationship between the microstructure evolution and Z parameter was also discussed. High temperature and low strain rate result in a low Z parameter, which leads to full dynamic recrystallization (DRX) and large DRX grain size in the microstructure. Considering processing map and microstructure, the hot deformation should be carried out at the temperature of 400 ~C and the strain rate of 0.1 s 1.展开更多

Plastic instability is evident during the deformation which is in the form of serrated flow; serrated yielding is attributed to the locking of mobile dislocations by the Mg and Li atoms which diffuse during the deformation. The relationships between flow stress, strain rate and deformation temperature were analyzed and the deformation activation energy and some basic material factors at different strains were calculated using the Arrhenius equation. The effects of temperature and strain rate on deformation behavior were represented using the Zener–Hollomon parameter in an exponent-type equation. To verify the validity of the constitutive model, the predicted values and experimental flow curves under different deformation conditions were compared, the correlation coefficient (0.9970) and average absolute relative error (AARE=4.41%) were calculated. The results indicate that the constitutive model can be used to accurately predict the flow behavior of dual-phase Mg-9Li-3Al-2Sr alloy during high temperature deformation.展开更多

Orthogonal experiments were introduced to study the comprehensive effects of such three parameters on diamond films deposited on WC-Co substrates. Field emission scanning electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy and Raman spectrum were employed to analyze the morphology, growth rate and composition of as-deposited diamond films. The morphology varies from pyramidal to cluster features with temperature decreasing. It is found that the low total pressure is suitable for nano-crystalline diamond films growth. Moreover, the substrate temperature and total pressure have combined influence on the growth rate of the diamond films.展开更多

A. Meyer). The activities of these enzymes were induced by an elicitor (Cle) extracted from cell walls of Col-letotrichum lagerarium. In addition, Cle induced an oxidative burst and enhanced the synthesis of saponin, activity of phenylalanine ammonialyase (PAL) , accumulation of chalcone synthase (CHS) and the transcription of a hydroxyproline-rich glycoprotein gene ( hrgp ) . Pre-treatments with DPI and quinacrine (two inhibitors of mammalian neutrophil plasma membrane NADPH oxidase) for 30 min prior to Cle addition blocked the NAD(P)H oxidase activity induced by Cle. These inhibitors also inhibited the release of H2C2, the synthesis of saponin, PAL activity and CHS accumulation. Our data revealed homology between plasma membrane NAD(P)H oxidases of mammalian neutrophil cells and ginseng suspension cells. They also indicated that deactivated NAD(P)H oxidases catalysed the release of H2O2 and that H2O2 was functioning as a second messenger stimulating PAL activity, saponin synthesis and hrgp transcription. Elevations of Ca2 + and protein phos-phorylation/dephosphorylation were required for this defense process. We propose that NAD(P)H oxidases mediate the processes of Cle-induced defense responses in ginseng suspensions, and postulate the existence of a signalling cascade including extracellular Cle stimulation, activation of plasma membrane NAD(P)H oxidases, release of H2O2, and the intracellular responses of metabolism and gene transcription in ginseng suspension cells.展开更多
