The Municipality of Puebla is today's capital of the fourth most important city of Mexico. During 2009, its city hall ranked infirst place in category of metropolitan city as information and communication technologie...The Municipality of Puebla is today's capital of the fourth most important city of Mexico. During 2009, its city hall ranked infirst place in category of metropolitan city as information and communication technologies to reach part of "Digital City Award". From the strategy to use governmental efficiency, as well as interact with the population and socioeconomic development of the zone, free wireless internet was implemented in 39 areas to facilitate the access to training of citizenship by using this new form of media. The municipality has a population with great economic disparity, which is translated in strong social exclusion, located mainly in housing units and popular colonies with people in situation of hereditary poverty. Because of that, the need of knowing the profile and the consumer habits of mass media communication emerges. The research evaluates identification of actual and potential users of the web2.0, so it can be possible to recognize the chances of intervention in this segment and increase its participation on public character programs and promoting equality of opportunities and the possibility being a participative citizenship that contributes to the local human development.展开更多

The cube is the unique space-filling platonic solid. If we make line connections the center with the vertices in the certain cube, the cube is divided into six pyramids. And if we glued six pyramids to the faces of the cube, we obtain a 'rhombic dodecahedron'. Since cubes are packing a space, rhombic dodecahedra are also space-filling polyhedra and a rhombic dodecahedron is divided into two regular tetrahcdra and one regular octahedron. In this study, we present how rhombic dodecahedron can be split into tetrahedra and octahedron. In this process, we can research a variety of divisions of regular polyhedron.展开更多
A novel method for multi-image matching by synthesizing image and object-space information is proposed. Firstly, four levels of image pyramids are generated according to the rule that the next pyramid level is generat...A novel method for multi-image matching by synthesizing image and object-space information is proposed. Firstly, four levels of image pyramids are generated according to the rule that the next pyramid level is generated from the previous level using the average gray values of the 3 by 3 pixels, and the first level of pyramid image is generated from the original image. The initial horizontal parallaxes between the reference image and each searching image are calculated at the highest level of the image pyramid. Secondly, corresponding image points are searched in each stereo image pair from the third level of image pyramid, and the matching results in all stereo pairs are integrated in the object space, by which the mismatched image points can be eliminated and more accurate spatial information can be obtained for the subsequent pyramid image matching. The matching method based on correlation coefficient with geometric constraints and global relaxation matching is introduced in the process of image matching. Finally, the feasibility of the method proposed in this paper is verified by the experiments using a set of digital frame aerial images with big overlap. Compared with the traditional image matching method with two images, the accuracy of the digital surface model (DSM) generated using the proposed method shows that the multiimage matching method can eliminate the mismatched points effectively and can improve the matching success rate significantly.展开更多

Then weighted GFTN is studied using cumulative distributions of its Farey number value, edge weight, and node strength.
