A high-speed camera was used to capture the instantaneous images of plume and spatters during high power disk laser welding. Characteristic parameters such as the area and number of spatters, the average grayscale of a spatter image, the entropy of a spatter grayscale image, the coordinate ratio of the plume centroid and the welding point, the polar coordinates of the plume centroid were defined and extracted. Karhunen-Loeve transform method was used to change the seven characteristics into three primary characteristics to reduce the dimensions. Also, K-nearest neighbor method was used to classify the plume and spatter images into two categories such as good and poor welding quality. The results show that plume and spatter have a close relationship with the welding stability, and two categories could be recognized effectively using K-nearest neighbor method based on Karhunen-Loeve transform.展开更多

Methods HEK293 cell line stably expressing CD16b was constructed by lentivirus system. The cell line was then overexpressed with a disintegrin and metalloproteinase 10 (ADAM10) or ADAM17, sup- pressed with short hairpin RNA of ADAM10 or ADAM I 7, and reconstituted with ADAM 10 or ADAM17, respectively. After each treatment, the cell line was stimulated with ionomycin or phorbol 12-myristate- 13-acetate (PMA) for 12 hours. The soluble CD 16b released from cell membrane was detected by immuno- precipition and immunoblot. Quantitation was then implemented to compare the amount of soluble CD 16b in cell supernatant after stimulation. Results HEK293 cell line stably expressing CD16b was successfully established. When CDI6b ex- pressing cell line was overexpressed with ADAM 10, shedding of CD 16b was increased after stimulation with ionomycin but not PMA; when the cell line overexpressed with ADAM I7, shedding of CDI6b was increased after stimulation with PMA but not ionomycin. Fluid inclusions from samples from the layered and veined mineralized belt in the Mopan mine area were studied using microscopic temperature measurements and laser Raman spectroscopy.Further studies were conducted on ...Fluid inclusions from samples from the layered and veined mineralized belt in the Mopan mine area were studied using microscopic temperature measurements and laser Raman spectroscopy.Further studies were conducted on the nature and source of the ore forming fluid and on the mechanism of deposit formation.The results show that there are three types of inclusions that occur in both the layered and veined ore body.These are liquid inclusions,CO 2 inclusions with a liquid phase,and NaCl-H 2 O multiphase inclusions.The fluid inclusions in both the layered and veined ore bodies have similar characteristics.The ore forming fluid is strongly reducing,was exposed to low to medium temperatures,salinity,and pressures.The source of this ore forming fluid was a mix of submarine volcanic spring(blow-piping),magmatic hydrothermal jet,and underground water.展开更多
Zinc-air battery is one of the most promising next-generation energy conversion and storage systems.Green and low-cost catalysts with high oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)catalytic activity are desired to meet the requi...Zinc-air battery is one of the most promising next-generation energy conversion and storage systems.Green and low-cost catalysts with high oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)catalytic activity are desired to meet the requirements of Zinc-air batteries.Herein,poly-active centric Co3O4-CeO2/Co-N-C(ketjenblack carbon)catalysts were prepared by a facile method.The Co3O4 and CeO2 nanoparticles are uniformly anchored on the surface of Co and N doped carbon support.The half-wave potential of Co3O4-CeO2/Co-N-C in the rotating disk electrode testing is close to that of Pt/C.The Zn-air battery using Co3O4-CeO2/Co-N-C as the cathode catalyst can provide a high specific capacity of 728 mA h g^-1 at 20 mA cm^-2 and maintain a stable discharge voltage.The remarkable catalytic performance is mainly attributed to the synergistic effect among Co3O4,CeO2 and Co-N-C,the outstanding electrical conductivity and the large surface area.Benefitting from the high catalytic activity,environmental friendliness and the facile synthesis process,Co3O4-CeO2/Co-N-C catalyst lends itself well to a great prospect in the application of metalair batteries.展开更多

Methods: The rat model of cervical intervertebral disc degeneration was induced b...Objective: To observe the effect of electro-acupuncture on matrix metalloproteinase in degenerated cervical intervertebral disc rats. Methods: The rat model of cervical intervertebral disc degeneration was induced by unbalanced dynamic and static forces, then the rats were randomly allocated to model group, electro-acupuncture group Ⅰ(acupoints Dazhu (BL 11) and Tianzhu (BL 10) were electro-acupunctured), and electro-acupuncture group Ⅱ(acupoints Dazhu (BL 11),Tianzhu (BL 10) and Shenshu (BL 23) were electro-acupunctured), with the normal rats as control, then the HE staining method was adopted to observe the morphological change of cervical intervertebral disc and the immunohistochemical staining method was used to detect the matrix metalloproteinases-l(MMP-1) and matrix metalloproteinases-3(MMP-3) in cervical intervertebral disc. Results: The morphological observation showed that after electro-acupuncture treatment, the degrees of cervical intervertebral disc degeneration in electro-acupuncture group Ⅰ and electro-acupuncture group Ⅱ were alleviated, and the electro-acupuncture group Ⅱ was superior to electro-acupuncture group Ⅰ. The expressions of MMP-1 and MMP-3 in degenerated cervical intervertebral disc were increased (P〈0.01), and after electro-acupuncture treatment, the expressions of MMP-1 and MMP-3 in degenerated cervical intervertebral disc were decreased, especially the electro-acupuncture group Ⅱ presented the better effect as compared with electro-acupuncture group Ⅰ(P〈0.05). Conclusions: Electro-acupuncture at acupoints Dazhu (BL 11) and Tianzhu (BL 10) had a certain therapeutic effect on cervical intervertebral disc degeneration, and in combination with acupoint Shenshu (BL 23), this therapeutic effect could be enhanced, its action mechanism might be that electro-acupuncture can reduce the expressions of MMP-1 and MMP-3 in degenerated cervical intervertebral disc, inhibit the degradation of matrix in intervertebral disc, so as to relieve cervical intervertebral disc degeneration.展开更多
