The constitutive equation and hot processing map of the alloy were built up according to its hot deformation behavior and hot working characteristics. The deformation activation energy of the alloy is 203.005 kJ/mol. An instability region appears in the hot deformation temperature of 600?700 °C and the strain rate range of 0.32?10 s?1 when the true strain of the alloy is up to 0.7. Under the optimal hot deformation condition of 800 °C and 10 s?1 the prepared specimen has good surface quality and interior structure. The designed nickel-free alloy has very similar white chromaticity with the traditional white copper alloy (Cu?15Ni?24Zn?1.5Pb), and the color difference between them is less than 1.5, which can hardly be distinguished by human eyes.展开更多

The results show that copper, aluminum and zinc returns have many structure breaks points, and nonferrous metals have the greatvolatilityrisk during financial crisis. From the resultsof GARCH with and without structural changes,it isfoundthat the volatility clustering of single nonferrous metal is overvalued when ignoring the structural mutation, and the return of aluminum isthe most overvalued, indicating that aluminum market is more susceptible to external shock.Furthermore,it is also foundthatdynamic volatility correlation exists in the three prices of nonferrous metals, and the structural changes have no significant effect on the volatility correlation of thethree nonferrous metals.展开更多

In Tessala Mountain (Sidi Bel Abbes Country, North-Western of Algeria), the Ruta genus commonly known by "fidjel" is represented by two species: Ruta Chalepensis L. and Ruta Montana (L.) L. frequently used by local population in a traditional treatment. The water-distilled essential oils from this species yielded 7.23% and 6.104% for Ruta chalepensis L. and Ruta montana (L.) L. respectively. The essential oil of Ruta montana (L.) L. showed a strong antibacterial activity against all bacterial strains tested (Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853, Mycobacterium kansasii ATCC ! 2478 and Mycobacterium vaccae ATCC 1548314) compared to Ruta chalepensis L. oils which have a moderate effect only on Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 and Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC 27853. Therefor, the antibacterial properties of the essential oils of Ruta Chalepensis L. and Ruta Montana (L.) L. are now well established through this study and therefore could justify their future uses in the treatment of nosocomial infections.展开更多

Antibacterial activity was assessed by creating of the bacterial growth curve in the liquid medium cultivation and the growth inhibition on the agar plate cultivation. Citronellal, one of compounds in Rosa rugose oil, was used as a positive control for comparison in activity. The results showed that lavender and citronellal flavor (volatile) or oil respectively demonstrated bacteria killing effect in both analytical manners. However, P. aeruginosa resisted bacteria killing potency of lavender (citronellal) oil or oil-emitted flavor. It could be concluded that both lavender oil-emitted flavor and oil showed bacteria killing potency. Lavender oil (or oil-emitted flavor) will be expected to apply for the patient waiting room to disinfect in air along with the mental relaxation of the patient.展开更多

The synthetic process and stability of the L-ascorbic acid-stabilized Cu-CTS nanocomposites were investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and Fourier transform Infrared spectroscopy. The antimicrobial efficiency and potency of the Cu-CTS nanocomposites were studied. The Cu-CTS nanocomposites were found to exhibit a broad antimicrobial spectrum and high antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive bacterial pathogen Staphylococcus aureus and fungal pathogen Monilia albican. The minimum inhibitory concentration of the Cu-CTS nanocomposites toward S. aureus was found to be 6.4 μg mL^-1, much lower than those reported in the literature. Furthermore, the Cu-CTS nanocomposites were stable and main- tained good disinfection potential even after 90-day shelf-time under ambient conditions.展开更多
