BaFe12O19 fibers was prepared via an aqueous sol-gel process using Fe(OH)(HCOO)2 synthesized in laboratory and Ba(CH3COO)2 as the original materials and citrate as the chelate. The rheological behaviour of spinn...BaFe12O19 fibers was prepared via an aqueous sol-gel process using Fe(OH)(HCOO)2 synthesized in laboratory and Ba(CH3COO)2 as the original materials and citrate as the chelate. The rheological behaviour of spinnable sol was characterized on rheometer, and the development of gel fibers to barium ferrite fibers was studied by IR, TG and XRD. Morphology observation of the fibers was given on SEM, and the diameter of the obtained fibers was between 5 and 10 um corresponding to different additives. The additives affected the surface tension of the precursor sol which had close relation to the microstructure of fibers. Sucrose and hydroxyethylic cellulose could improve the surface tension while diethanolamine and hexadecylamine reduce that of the decylamine as an additive, well-structured BaFe12O19 precursor sol. And using diethanolamine or hexafibers could be obtained.展开更多

Three kinds of chelating agents were selected including citric aci...In the interest of accelerating aniline degradation, Fe2+ and chelated Fe2+ activated persulfate oxidations were investigated in neutral pH condition. Three kinds of chelating agents were selected including citric acid, oxalic acid and ethylenediamine tetraaceatate(EDTA) to maintain available Fe2+. The results indicate that the concentration of chelating agent and ferrous ion didn't follow a linear relationship with the degradation rate of aniline. A 1/1 ratio of chelating agent/Fe2+ results in a higher degradation rate compared to the results by other ratios. The oxidation enhancement factor using oxalic acid was found to be relatively low. In contrast, citric acid is more suitable chelating agent in the ferrous iron activated persulfate system and aniline exhibits a highest degradation with a persulfate/Fe2+/citric acid/aniline molar ratio of 50/25/25/1 compared to other molar ratios.展开更多

The finite element method of the hybrid of edge-elements and node...A novel adjustable Electromagnetic Band-Gap (EBG)-2-D ferrite EBG is analyzed, whose performance is controllable by changing applied dc magnetic field. The finite element method of the hybrid of edge-elements and node-elements incorporated with vector Floquet's theorem is adopted for calculating the scattering properties of this kind of EBG. By changing the directions of the dc magnetic field and altering the strength of magnetic field, the scattering properties of the ferrite EBG are analyzed. Results show that the performance of the EBG devices is adjustable by changing the directions and strength of the dc magnetic filed, which indicates the possibility of R/D a novel performance-adjustable EBG.展开更多

The result shows that saturation magnetic intensity of ferrite magnetic fluids can be improved by adding Dy 3+ and the saturation magnetic intensity will reach the highest if n(Fe)∶n(Dy 3+ )=30∶1. The modification and formation mechanism of Re xFe 3- xO 4 particles is discussed in detail.
