采用分子束外延法分别在650-920℃的Si(110)和920℃的Si(111)衬底表面生长出铁的硅化物纳米结构,并主要分析了920℃高温下纳米结构的形貌、组成相及其与Si衬底的取向关系.扫描隧道显微镜(STM)研究表明,920℃高温下,Si(110)衬底上生长的... 采用分子束外延法分别在650-920℃的Si(110)和920℃的Si(111)衬底表面生长出铁的硅化物纳米结构,并主要分析了920℃高温下纳米结构的形貌、组成相及其与Si衬底的取向关系.扫描隧道显微镜(STM)研究表明,920℃高温下,Si(110)衬底上生长的铁硅化合物完全以纳米线的形式存在,且其尺寸远大于650℃低温下外延生长的纳米线尺寸;Si(111)衬底上生长出三维岛和薄膜两种形貌的铁硅化合物,其中三维岛具有金属特性且直径约300 nm、高约155 nm,薄膜厚度约2 nm.电子背散射衍射研究表明920℃高温下Si(110)衬底上生长的纳米线仅以β-FeSi2的形式存在,且β-FeSi2相与衬底之间存在唯一的取向关系:β-FeSi2(101)//Si(11 1);β-FeSi2[010]//Si[110];Si(111)衬底上生长的三维岛由六方晶系的Fe2Si相组成,Fe2Si属于164空间群,晶胞常数为a=0.405 nm,c=0.509 nm;与衬底之间的取向关系为Fe2Si(001)∥Si(111)和Fe2Si[1 20]//Si[112]. 展开更多

The differences in the microstructure and elevated temperature tensile properties of gravity die cast,squeeze cast,and semi-solid thixoformed Al-Si-Cu-Mn-Fe alloys after thermal exposure at 300℃were discussed.The results demonstrate that the elevated temperature tensile properties of semi-solid thixoformed alloys were significantly higher than those of gravity die cast and squeeze cast alloys,especially after thermal exposure for 100 h.The ultimate tensile strength(UTS)of semi-solid thixoformed alloys after thermal exposure at 300℃for 0.5,10 and 100 h were 181,122 and 110 MPa,respectively.The UTS values of semi-solid thixoformed alloys were higher than those of heat resistant aluminum alloys used in commercial applications.The enhanced elevated temperature tensile properties of semi-solid thixoformed experimental alloys after thermal exposure can be attributed to the combined reinforcement of precipitation strengthening and grain boundary strengthening due to thermally stable intermetallic phases as well as suitable grain size. 展开更多

Fe-Si-Mn-oxyhydroxide encrustations at the East Pacific Rise (EPR) near 13°N were analyzed using the scanning electron microscope (SEM) with an energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS). These encrustations are mainly composed of amorphous Fe- Si-Mn-oxyhydroxides forming laminated, spherical, porous aggregates with some biodetritus, anhydrite, nontronite, and feldspar particles. Anhydrite particles and nontronite crystals in the Fe-Si-Mn-oxyhydroxide encrustations imply that the Fe-Si-Mn-oxyhy- droxide may have formed under relatively low- to high-temperature hydrothermal conditions. The Fe-Si-Mn-oxyhydroxide encrusta- tions on pillow basalts are 1-2mm thick. The growth rate of ferromanganese crusts in the survey area suggests that these encrusta- tions are an unlikely result of hydrogenic deposition alone having a hydrothermal and (Fe/Mn ratio up to 7.7 and Fe/(Fe+Mn+A1) ratio exceeding 0.78) hydrogenic origin (0.22 Fe/Mn ratio close to the mean value of 0.7 for open-ocean seamount crusts). The varying Fe/Mn ratios indicate that the Fe-Si-Mn-oxyhydroxide encrustations have formed through several stages of seafloor hydrother- malism. It is suggested that, at the initial formation stage, dense Fe-Si-oxyhydroxides with low Mn content deposit from a relatively reducing hydrothermal fluid, and then the loose Fe-Si-Mn-oxyhydroxides deposit on the Fe-Si-oxyhydroxides. As the oxidation degree of hydrothermal fluid increases and Si-oxide is inhibited, Mn-oxide will precipitate with Fe-oxyhydroxides. 展开更多

Limited information is available about factors of soil organic carbon(SOC) preservation in soils along a climo-biosequence. The objective of this study was to evaluate the role of soil texture and mineralogy on preservation of SOC in the topsoil and subsoil along a climo-biosequence in the Main Range of Peninsular Malaysia. Soil samples from the A and B-horizons of four representative soil profiles were subjected to particle-size fractionation and mineralogical analyses including X-ray diffraction and selective dissolution. The proportion of SOC in the 250-2000 μm fraction(SOC associated with coarse sand) decreased while the proportion of SOC in the <53 μm fraction(SOC associated with clay and silt)increased with depth. This reflected the importance of the fine mineral fractions of the soil matrix for SOC storage in the subsoil. Close relationships between the content of SOC in the <53 μm fraction and the content of poorly crystalline Fe oxides [oxalate-extractable Fe(Fe_o) – pyrophosphate-extractable Fe(Fe_p)] and poorly crystalline inorganic forms of Al [oxalateextractable Al(Al_o) – pyrophosphate-extractable Al(Al_p)] in the B-horizon indicated the importance of poorly crystalline Fe oxides and poorly crystalline aluminosilicates for the preservation of SOC in the Bhorizon. The increasing trend of Fe_o-Fe_p and Al_o-Al_p over elevation suggest that the importance of poorly crystalline Fe oxides and poorly crystalline aluminosilicates for the preservation of SOC in the Bhorizon increased with increasing elevation. This study demonstrates that regardless of differences in climate and vegetation along the studied climobiosequence, preservation of SOC in the subsoil depends on clay mineralogy. 展开更多

Selective adsorption and stable solidification of radioactive cesium ions by porous silica gels loaded with insoluble ferrocyanides 被引量:2

Development of highly functional cesium selective adsorbents for the decontamination of high-activity-level water(HALW) from the Fukushima NPP-1 accident is very urgent. In order to selectively adsorb the radioactive cesium, three kinds of novel porous silica gels loaded with insoluble ferrocyanides(SLFC) were prepared using a successive impregnation/precipitation method. Based on the results of previous research, the SLFC composites have relatively large uptake ratio above 95%, distribution coefficients(Kd) above 103 cm3/g, and excellent adsorption kinetics even in seawater. The solidification results also indicate that zeolites have an excellent Cs immobilization characteristic, gas-trapping and self-sintering abilities, and low leachability. We chose three kinds of SLFC composites to achieve the optimization of solidification by mixing with nine kinds of additives at high temperatures(up to 1200 °C). The Cs contents in the three composites were estimated to be below 30% of the initial contents and decreased with the three stages at calcination temperatures ranging from 25 to 1200 °C. By contrast, the Cs immobilization ratio was markedly lowered by mixing with additives: of those, allophane had the best immobilization result. By increasing the additive ratio to 50 wt%, the Cs immobilization ratio became almost 100% and no volatilization of Cs was detected even after calcination at 1200 °C. This result indicates that calcination of the mixture of SLFC composites after adsorbing Cs+ ions and specific additives under appropriate ratio is effective for stable solidification. 展开更多
